LONDON, UK — July 19, 2016 — Today, Ubisoft® and Mattel announced that UNO®, the successful card game, will be available for digital download on Xbox One, PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, and Windows PC on August 9, 2016.

In UNO®, players take turns matching a card in their hand with the colour or number card shown on the top of the deck. In addition to classic UNO® gameplay, the UNO® video game will also have a variety of online and social features. Players will have the ability to drop in and out of games as well as connect with family and friends using voice and video chat. To up the ante, players who strategise and stack their way to winning matches can snag a spot on weekly and global leaderboards. Additionally, the UNO video game will give players interactive tutorials, in-game tips, and display the house rules before every match.

UNO® is developed by a team of new talent and industry veterans from Ubisoft Chengdu, the Ubisoft’s second development studio in China. Opened in 2008 in the Chengdu Tianfu Software Park, it has become one of the biggest studios in western China.

Additionally, UNO® video game will be part of the Microsoft Summer Spotlight Program until August 16, featuring the selection of best new digital games of the summer.

First Look at New Series in Motion in World Premiere Trailer

Today we can unveil the digital release date and world premiere trailer for BATMAN – The Telltale Series.

The first of five episodes in the season, Episode 1: ‘Realm of Shadows’ will be available digitally worldwide starting Tuesday August 2nd on PC and Mac from the Telltale Online Store, Steam, and other digital distribution services, on the PlayStation®Network for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, on the Xbox Games Store for Xbox One® and Xbox 360®, for compatible iOS devices via the App Store, and for compatible Android-based devices via Google Play and the Amazon Appstore.

“This trailer/video may only be displayed if it is behind an age-gate that: (1) is age-neutral (i.e., requires the user to input their date of birth or select it from a drop-down bar; (2) employs reasonable technical measures to keep underage users from re-entering their age after initially being denied access; and (3) does not display any ESRB rating information on the video player or the age-gate itself. The series will also be available to purchase at retailers starting September 13th in North America as a special Season Pass Disc, which will include the first of five episodes in the season, and will grant access to the subsequent four episodes as they become available for download via online updates. The series will then be available to purchase at retailers across Europe on September 16th.

Rendered to look like a living, breathing comic book, Telltale’s vision of Batman will feature an award-winning cast of talent, including Troy Baker in the role of Bruce Wayne, Travis Willingham as Harvey Dent, Erin Yvette as Vicki Vale, Enn Reitel as Alfred Pennyworth,Murphy Guyer as Lieutenant James Gordon, Richard McGonagle as Carmine Falcone, andLaura Bailey as Selina Kyle. Additional cast and characters will be revealed as the season progresses.

2K and Firaxis Games today revealed that Qin Shi Huang will lead China in Sid Meier’s Civilization VI, launching on Oct 21st for Windows PC.

Qin Shi Huang was a ruthless leader, responsible for conquering and uniting the various warring states of China. He went on to become the nation’s first emperor in 221 BC.
During his reign, Qin Shi Huang’s military generals greatly expanded the size of China’s territory. Qin Shi Huang was known for enacting major economic and political reforms that helped bring standardization to the many varied Chinese states, as well as unifying each state’s walls into one singular Great Wall of China. Finally, Qin Shi Huang is known for building the world-famousTerracotta Army – a literal army of life-sized clay soldiers.

Unique Unit: Crouching Tiger Cannon
Gunpowder, discovered in China around 9th Century AD, was initially only used for fireworks and celebratory activities; however, its application eventually spread to warfare. And so the “Crouching Tiger” was born, a rough prototype of a cannon that was essentially an iron tube, wrapped in thick rope and sealed at one end. The Crouching Tiger was reported to be in use throughout China in 1368 and even as late as 1592.

Unique Improvement: Great Wall
In Civilization V, any player could construct the Great Wall Wonder; in Civilization VI, the Great Wall is a unique improvement exclusive to China. While the idea of a wall is certainly not unique, The Great Wall of China is the most impressive, inspiring awe for over 2000 years.

Patch 3.35 offers growing community exciting new content

London (19th July, 2016) – SQUARE ENIX® today announced that the critically-acclaimed, FINAL FANTASY® XIV has now drawn in over six million cumulative players globally – excluding free trial – in under three years. The accumulated accounts reflect the growing community of players who enjoy the consistent schedule of content updates.
This significant milestone coincides with today’s release of Patch 3.35 and the announcement of a free login campaign period that will run globally from July 25 (8:00 AM BST) to August 30 (07:59 AM BST). The latter offers lapsed players up to five full days to explore the wealth of new content.

Patch 3.35 introduces the Deep Dungeon: The Palace of the Dead, where newcomers and veterans can band together for an unprecedented adventure in FINAL FANTASY® XIV. With parties of up to four, the Palace of the Dead is the first of many planned content updates where players can battle through an array of enemies, avoid traps and tackle bosses to gain valuable experience. The dungeon features randomly generated maps, several dozen floors, and starts every participant at Level 1 with a unique new progression system. Diving deep into the dungeon will see players focusing on strengthening their gear throughout their journey, as they work to unravel the mystery of the Palace of the Dead.

The free login campaign will be available to players registered for a service account that has not been active for 30 or more days before the campaign period. Those with active subscriptions will not be eligible. The free login period lasts a maximum of five days, until 07:59 AM of the fifth day after logging in.

Introducing new Alola region Pokémon and brand-new gameplay features in upcoming Pokémon games

London, United Kingdom—19 July 2016— The Pokémon Company International announced new features and Pokémon which will be appearing in the much anticipated video games Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, available exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS family of systems.

Introducing  new Pokémon:

Name: Wimpod
Type: Bug/Water
Wimpod is the Turn Tail Pokémon. This Pokémon is a cowardly scavenger which eats or stores anything that’s been dropped in the sea, so it’s highly valued across the Alola region as a cleaner of the sea. Wimpod has the new Ability Wimp Out, which causes this Pokémon to run away or swap out for another Pokémon when its HP drops below half in battle.

Name: Bounsweet
Type: Grass
Fruit Pokémon Bounsweet gives off a delicious aroma. This aroma has a calming effect on humans, so many people across Alola let them live inside their homes as an air freshener.

Name: Comfey
Type: Fairy
Comfey, the Posy Picker Pokémon, picks flowers to carry around. Comfey uses its soothing aroma to help treat people and Pokémon at Pokémon Centers and hospitals.

Name: Mudsdale
Type: Ground
Mudsdale is the Draft Horse Pokémon, possessing incredible power and endurance. Its legs are coated in protective mud, and its kick can destroy a car in a single blow. Mudsdale can have the Ability Stamina, a new Ability which raises a Pokémon’s Defense by one when it’s hit by an attack.

Name: Bewear
Type: Normal/Fighting
Bewear is the Strong Arm Pokémon that must never be approached carelessly. With its stout and highly developed arms and legs, Bewear loves to give crushing bear hugs which will split anything in two.

Name: Mimikyu
Type: Ghost/Fairy
As the Disguise Pokémon, Mimikyu lives its life constantly covered by its cloth. Mimikyu’s Disguise Ability allows it to escape danger from an enemy’s attack one time, changing its appearance afterward.

New features are coming to the Pokémon Global Link, a website which connects players around the world who are enjoying the Pokémon series. The Pokémon Global Link will be ending its current Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire,Pokémon X, and Pokémon Y service. It will be updated to make it compatible withPokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon and to introduce Friendly Competitions, a new function which allows players to become competition hosts and hold their own original competitions, where they can set the regulations. Two types of Friendly Competition will be available, Online and Live.

·         Online Competitions—These are competitions which are played over the internet. Players will be matched with an opponent and compete against each other for the best rating. These competitions can be open to Pokémon Trainers all over the world, or they can be set to only allow pre-approved Trainers to enter.

·         Live Competitions—These competitions allow players to host a competition and play together with friends and other Trainers who are in the same space. The Digital Player ID that contains competition regulations is generated as a QR Code, and by scanning the QR code into a 3DS system, participants can join and battle according to the set regulations.

Also announced is the new Hyper Training function which can be used to increase Pokémon’s power. Traditionally, Pokémon grow stronger by raising their levels and increasing their base stats. However, such power is still affected by the individual strengths innate to each Pokémon. Hyper Training allows Pokémon that have grown to Lv. 100 to increase their individual strengths, which has not been possible in previous Pokémon games. You can now make your Lv. 100 Pokémon even stronger. Hyper Training is done by Mr. Hyper, a new character who can be found somewhere in the Alola region. By using Bottle Caps, a new item obtainable in Pokémon Sun andPokémon Moon, players will be able to carry out Hyper Training on their Pokémon. The Mythical Pokémon Magearna, planned for distribution in Europe later, will be distributed with a Bottle Cap held item.

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. (July 19, 2016) – Crystal Dynamics® and Square Enix® continue to celebrate 20 years of Lara Croft®, the gaming world’s iconic heroine, with fans around the world by announcing today that Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration™ will launch on PlayStation®4 on Oct. 11, 2016. Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebrationwill include the award-winning Rise of the Tomb Raider® game, a completely new story chapter entitled “Blood Ties”, new co-op Endurance gameplay, PlayStation VR support for “Blood Ties”, all of the previously released DLC, more outfits, weapons, and Expedition Cards.  The Limited Edition of the game will also feature a limited edition art book.

With the exception of VR support, all of the new content in Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration will also be available for Xbox One and PC players. Current Season Pass owners on Xbox One and PC will automatically receive the content for free, and moving forward the existing Season Pass will be updated to include the new content. There is no Season Pass on PlayStation 4, as all of the content is included in the initial release.

“The studio is celebrating with all Tomb Raider® fans, thanking them for being on Lara’s 20 year journey with us,” said Scot Amos, co-Head of Studio at Crystal Dynamics. “The team has packed in surprises, new story, and the top-requested special features into this 20 Year Celebration edition.”

“Blood Ties,” a new premium DLC, beckons players to explore Croft Manor in a new story mode; then defend it against a zombie invasion in “Lara’s Nightmare”. When Lara’s uncle contests ownership of the Manor, Lara must explore the estate to find proof that she is the rightful heir, or lose her birthright and father’s secrets for good. Players can then test their zombie-killing skills in the replayable “Lara’s Nightmare” mode: a haunted Croft Manor where players have new challenges and must rid the Manor of an evil presence.

Additionally, support for PlayStation VR empowers players to unlock the mysteries of Croft Manor in first person.

“This year we celebrate 20 years of the iconic Lara Croft,” said Ron Rosenberg, co-Head of Studio at Crystal Dynamics. “This provided the perfect opportunity for us to deliver a new Tomb Raider experience. With the addition of PlayStation VR support, you can play the world through Lara’s eyes for the first time in franchise history.”

In addition, for the first time in a Tomb Raider game, a new online co-op expansion to Endurance mode lets fans raid tombs in a brutal wilderness together. Two players must team up to survive the harsh elements by day, as well as lethal threats from enemies by night. Fire takes fuel, food restores health, and every resource must be hunted, collected, or crafted. Battle to the top of the leaderboards, as others try to beat your longest survival run.

Working with long-time partner Nixxes Software, the development team has also created a number of additions that celebrate Tomb Raider releases through the years, including a re-envisioned version of the cold-weather outfit and the Hailstorm pistol that Lara donned in “Tomb Raider III”. A special classic Lara card pack will allow fans to replay the game with five classic Lara models from the games over the years, including the original Lara model that started it all in 1996.

At the special request of hardcore fans, the main game becomes even grittier with a brutal new “Extreme Survivor” setting. This new difficulty level takes the toughness of Survivor and ratchets it up several notches starting with all checkpoints being stripped out of the game. The only way to save the game is forage enough resources to light campfires.

All previously released DLC will be included, including the three hour story addition Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch, Cold Darkness Awakened in which players must combat waves of infected predators, 12 DLC outfits, 7 DLC weapons, over 35 Expedition Cards, and more.

Rise of the Tomb Raider, currently available for Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC, is one of the most celebrated games of the past year. The game was nominated for more than 75 awards, winning 27. Rise of the Tomb Raider was also nominated for nine DICE Awards, more than any other title in 2015.

COPENHAGEN, July 19, 2016 – HITMAN’s Summer Bonus Episode is live today.
The Summer Bonus Episode consists of two separate ICA missions which catalogue Agent 47’s first trips to both Sapienza and Marrakesh. This Episode is not part of the story arc of HITMAN, being previous ICA missions they are set apart from the main story.

In Sapienza, ‘The Icon’, sees the town taken over by a film crew shooting a new sci-fi blockbuster complete with a 100ft mechanical killer robot in the middle of the town square – what sort of accidents lie in wait with a whole film set, complete with pyrotechnics, at your disposal..?

And in ‘A House Built on Sand’ players will travel to the noisy and busy night markets of Marrakesh where Agent 47 must stop a billion dollar deal taking place.

The Summer Bonus Episode presents players with a range of new in-game Challenges and Opportunities that will keep them busy along with a new type of setting for Escalation Contracts and Elusive Targets.

The Summer Bonus Episode is available for players who own the Full Experience or own the combination of Intro Pack + Upgrade Pack, at no additional cost and will be available for download today. For all other players, the Summer Bonus Episode will be available for individual purchase later in the Season, packaged together with a third bonus mission for one price. At that time, Full Experience and Upgrade Pack owners will also get access to the third bonus mission at no additional cost.

PS4 and Xbox One: Available between 12:00 and 14:00 BST
PC: Available between 14:00 and 16:00 BST

HITMAN began with a Prologue and Paris location in March, continued with Episode 2: Sapienza in April, Episode 3: Marrakesh in May and now the Summer Bonus Episode in July before the final three locations; Thailand, the United States and the season finale in Japan arrive later in 2016.

HITMAN is available on the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, and Windows PC.

WWE 2K17 ‘NXT Edition’ Collector’s Edition Revealed and Detailed

Big fans of WWE, especially those who happen to adore the NXT roster, will be delighted to hear that 2K Games is planning on releasing a special collector’s edition for WWE 2K17 that focuses almost entirely around the NXT roster. Limited to only 50,000 copies worldwide, this special “NXT Edition” of WWE 2K17 is priced at $149.95 AUD/ $159.95 NZD and will be released alongside the normal version of the game on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on October 11th.
