Feral Interactive announced today that the critically acclaimed, classic strategy game ROME: Total War is now available for iPad via the App Store. Developed by Creative Assembly and published by SEGA on Windows PC, and published by Feral Interactive on Mac, the game has been a critical and commercial favorite since its initial release on desktop in 2004.

A game of epic real-time warfare, ROME: Total War offers players a seamless mix of strategy and tactics to fight spectacular battles, while using diplomacy, subterfuge and assassination to pave the road to ultimate victory. Encompassing three centuries of conflict from the Punic Wars to the death of Augustus, the game captures the excitement and challenge of conquering and ruling the legendary Roman Empire.

ROME: Total War is one of the first AAA desktop strategy games to come to iPad and has been heavily optimised for the device, with reworked visuals and a host of features designed specifically for mobile gaming. The result is the most sophisticated strategy game available on tablet.  A game of epic scale and great replayability, ROME: Total War for iPad allows the player to direct thousands of troops in real-time battles and build an empire using turn-based strategy, all through controls honed for the iPad’s touch-screen.

ROME: Total War for iPad will retail on the App Store for a one-time purchase of $9.99/£7.99/€9.99. There are no in-app purchases.

Minimum system requirements call for an iPad Air or later, iPad mini 2 or later, or an iPad Pro. The game requires 4 GB of free space and iOS 9.3.5 or later.

The Nintendo Classic Mini: Nintendo Entertainment System features 30 titles from Nintendo’s iconic NES console such as Donkey Kong, Metroid, The Legend of Zelda, and Super Mario Bros. 3. Each title can be displayed at 60Hz via the included HDMI cable. Players can display the action in the 4:3 aspect ratio used by the original NES console, in the new Pixel Perfect mode where each pixel is a correct square on the TV, or like it was back in the day on a CRT TV with the Classic visual filter. Progress on each title can be saved at any time, meaning that the days of losing passwords and progress are a thing of the past. PS4™ Pro, which supports dynamic 4K gaming and 4K entertainment* is now available with a recommended retail price of AUD $559.95. Blockbuster PS4 games, including Call Of Duty®: Infinite Warfare (Activision), Ratchet & Clank™, The Last of Us™ Remastered, andUncharted™4: A Thief’s End(SIE Worldwide Studios),have been updated to take advantage of PS4 Pro’s increased power, taking the graphics and visual experience to all new heights.

The “most interesting chicken in the world” is back in his first sequel Rocketbirds 2: Evolution for PC, where Hardboiled Chicken gets entangled in a mysterious and sinister penguin plot in “Part 1: The Cockup.” Meanwhile, the pint sized budgie commandos are forming a strike force of great magnitude in “Part 2: The Rescue”, where players need to rescue and recruit hostages from deep behind enemy lines. Both parts can be played in or out of order, but converge to complete the full Evolution story.

Players will engage in nuanced, side-scrolling, shooter action as they face an assortment of evil penguins, space owls and other fowl creatures while strapping on jetpacks and wielding new, powerful weapons of ‘de-clucktion.’
