Sydney, Australia — October 13th, 2016 – Kicking off the countdown for the launch of its newest installment in the blockbuster Watch_Dogs® franchise, Ubisoft announced today its first Watch Dogs® 2 worldwide film festival running from October 15th to November 15th 2016. By offering participants to unleash their creative vision around their unique interpretation on the “hacking heroes” theme, the Watch Dogs 2 Film Fest is not only a short film contest in which every adult can participate, but they will also be able to share and vote for their favorites video with a chance to win prizes too.

Supported by Parrot, Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe and YouTube Gaming, the jury will be composed by Louis Leterrier – a French yet international film director, Thomas Geffroyd – Brand Content Director on Watch Dogs 2, Jonathan Morin – Creative Director on Watch Dogs 2, and a online content creator from around the world. Famous YouTuber, FilmDice, will be representing the Australia & New Zealand on the jury.

“We cannot wait to see what the fans will come up with. Sky’s the limit but we are expecting real originality no matter what scale, length, and format” said Louis Leterrier. “A good film is a film that stays with the audience long after they’ve seen it. We have no doubt that the contestants will succeed to surprise us.”

The only rules* for the contestant is to involve a smartphone in their video, video length must be between 5 seconds and not exceed 5 minutes. This is a fun and creative opportunity for gamers, fans, students or young directors to express their creativity and share them to the rest of the world! Participating is simple:

To reward people from their creativity, 3 international prizes will be awarded as well as 8 local prizes awarded by local famous content creators:

October 25 will see the release of both Exile’s End – the 2D sci-fi platformer headed to the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and PlayStation®Vita handheld entertainment system, as well as the Wii U™ console from Nintendo at a later date – and the Nintendo 3DS™ version of the much-lauded horror adventure, Corpse Party, which will receive a limited ‘Back to School Edition’ physical release.

To commemorate the occasion and tide fans over, a new trailer has been released for Exile’s End alongside brand new screenshots for Corpse Party.

[Platform: Nintendo 3DS; Release Date: October 25, 2016] In the cult hit horror adventure Corpse Party, players take control of a group of Japanese high school students who inadvertently engage in a pagan ritual and find themselves inexplicably transported into a whole other space: an inescapable echo of a long-since demolished school building where a series of gruesome murders once took place. Remastered from the 2011 PSP (PlayStation®Portable) system release, the Nintendo 3DS rendition of Corpse Party will feature redrawn, high-resolution character sprites, newly arranged music tracks in binaural 3D audio, and 3D art stills, as well as four new Extra Chapters exclusive to this version that provide insight into lesser-shown characters and plot elements previously left unexplained.

Corpse Party for Nintendo 3DS will be released physically for the first time in English through a limited ‘Back to School Edition’ priced at $49.99, which will include high-quality miniature figurines of characters Naomi Nakashima and Seiko Shinohara, as well as a soundtrack CD containing nearly 80 minutes of music from the game not previously featured on the ‘Songs of the Dead’ compilation, including three tracks exclusive to this Nintendo 3DS version. Today we can unveil the release date for BATMAN – The Telltale Series Episode 3: ‘New World Order’.

The third of five episodes in the season, Episode 3: ‘New World Order’ will be available digitally worldwide starting Tuesday October 25th on PC from the Telltale Online Store, Steam, and other digital distribution services, on the PlayStation®Network for PlayStation 4, and on the Xbox Games Store for Xbox One®. Release dates for additional platforms will be announced in the near future.

Players can get a special sneak peek at the upcoming episode in the latest installment ofBATMAN: Unmasked, featuring special guest Travis Willingham (voice of Harvey Dent).

In Episode 3, Penguin’s brutal attack broadcast on live TV has left Gotham City reeling. As Bruce and Batman, you’ll dig deeper into the web of intrigue surrounding the newly revealed Children of Arkham. While not much is known about her childhood, history remembers Queen Gorgo of Sparta, married to King Leonidas I in the 5th century BC, as a wise politician and capable ruler. She reigned alongside her King during the Greco-Persian Wars, a series of conflicts between the Persian Empire and the independent Greek city-states, and aided King Leonidas in his quest to form a coalition to muster against the impending invasion from Xerxes.

Though Xerxes made some advancements and held a large chunk of Europe during his invasion, the Greeks eventually expelled the Persians from Europe and ensured no Persian soldiers stepped on Spartan soil.

Unveiled Opening Cinematic Combines CG Graphics with Traditional Japanese Animation

LONDON (12th October 2016) –  Ahead of its launch on PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®VITA later this month, Square Enix Ltd., today announced that on 17thOctober, fans can preview the upcoming WORLD OF FINAL FANTASY® in a free playable demo available to download from the PlayStation®Store.

The playable demo will allow players to experience Lann and Reynn in their Lilikin and Jiant forms, meet various different mirages and encounter a selection of iconic FINAL FANTASY® characters along the way, including Cloud, Lightning and Squall. Completing the demo allows players to unlock Magitek Armor P in the Coliseum to battle and capture in the full version of the game.

In addition, the full-length animated opening cinematic for the title was also revealed – showcasing the heroes Reynn and Lann, as they set foot into the magical world of Grymoire, battling menacing Mega Mirages and fighting alongside legendary FINAL FANTASY characters.

COPENHAGEN, October 12, 2016 – Io-Interactive is excited to announce the destination and release date for the Season Finale of HITMAN, which will take place in Hokkaido, Japan on October 31.

The Season Finale for HITMAN Season One features a mission called “Situs Inversus” and is the culmination of everything players will have learnt in terms of both gameplay and story.

The Hokkaido location is set within the grounds of the hyper-exclusive GAMA private hospital and resort. This secluded facility is a fusion of Japanese beauty and cutting-edge technology, featuring its own Zen gardens, organic sushi restaurant and traditional Japanese hot spring. Agent 47 must locate two targets in this climactic Season Finale.

“It was a brave decision to go fully digital episodic with Hitman, fundamentally changing how we make the game, and for us it has been a major success,” said Hannes Seifert, Studio Head, Io-Interactive. “I want to say a big thank you to all the players for making this possible! Together we’ve built and run the biggest and most replayable locations of any Hitman game and added new live content every single week since launch. And although we’re now completing season one, this is only the beginning for our ever expanding World of Assassination.”

HITMAN began with a Prologue and Paris location in March, continued with Episode 2: Sapienza in April, Episode 3: Marrakesh in May, the Summer Bonus Episode in July, Episode 4: Bangkok in August, Episode 5: Colorado in September and the season finale, Episode 6: Hokkaido on October 31.
