Premium Creature Pack Debuts With Burrowbuck Alongside a Free Venomous Web-Evolution for Broodmother’s Children in TLC Update
SEATTLE, WA – MAY 19, 2026 – Studio Wildcard today announced the launch of Fantastic Tames Season 1, a premium creature pack for ARK: Survival Ascended available on PC Steam & Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Fantastic Tames Season 1 introduces fresh ways for Survivors to dominate the battlefield, outmaneuver rivals, and adapt to ever-changing threats with a trio of extraordinary creatures forged from ARK’s most mystical anomalies.
With Season 1, today players gain immediate access to the Burrowbuck, a swift and elusive rabbit-like tame who can create underground ‘burrows’ within which players can build bases, along with highly agile jumping and ambushing abilities for guerilla warfare. Two additional Fantastic Tames in Season 1 will be arriving later this year:
Cerberax (Q3 2026) – A towering three-headed frontline beast designed for coordinated multi-rider combat, where each head delivers devastating elemental attacks that can chain together into destructive combo abilities.
Enigmasaur (Q4 2026) – A mysterious shape-shifting entity capable of mimicking nearby creatures and stealing their unique abilities, allowing Survivors to adapt to nearly any situation through deception and disguise.
Skittish but clever, the Burrowbuck is an elusive creature that is quick to vanish when threatened, kicking up blinding dirt before it tunnels away underground.
Also launching alongside the Burrowbuck today is the Araneo TLC Update, a free creature enhancement voted into development by the ARK community during Extra Life 2025 charity livestream. The reworked Araneo spider is now a versatile tactical mount featuring updated hunting mechanics and tactical web abilities which make it a dangerous ambush predator. No longer content to skitter at ground level, these overgrown spiders have begun claiming the high ground, using web-lines to traverse elevated terrain then dropping down from above to wrap up unsuspecting prey in webbing before subduing them with a venomous bite.
The revamped Araneo descends from shadows with enhanced mobility, tactical webbing abilities, and a deadly new role as ARK’s ultimate ambush predator.
Fantastic Tames Season 1 is available beginning today for $9.99 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Epic Games Store and Steam PC.
ARK: Survival Ascended includes access to all of ARK’s worlds, including Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, ARK Genesis Part 1 and Part 2. Available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC and Steam, players will create a Survivor, form a tribe, and then tame, train, breed & ride dinosaurs within a living ecosystem.

Historical-political deduction game from Paintbucket Games and the bpb sheds light on the Federal Republic of Germany in the 1970s
May 20, 2026 – The Federal Agency for Civic Education (bpb) and the award-winning Berlin-based development studio Paintbucket Games are happy to announce their new project, SOKO 1977: Anti-Terror Task Force. This historical-political deduction game with roguelike elements transports players to the Federal Republic of Germany in the 1970s – a time of political tensions, social upheaval, and escalating conflicts.
In SOKO 1977, players take charge of a special police task force during a state of emergency. They must uncover terrorist networks, identify suspects, and coordinate operations. Under time pressure and with limited information, players must carefully evaluate clues and weigh the risks. Procedurally generated elements create a new investigative story with different challenges in every playthrough. The game condenses fictionalized, plausible scenarios based on real historical events into an intense setting where every decision has consequences.
In addition to operational police work, social and interpersonal dynamics also play an important role: Players face critical questions from the press, conduct interrogations, interact with their team, and actively shape public perception of their work – all while pressure from politics, society, and the media continues to mount. At the same time, SOKO 1977 repeatedly raises key questions: How far can the state go to ensure the safety of its citizens? Which measures are legitimate, and where are the limits of action under the rule of law?
The game is being developed on behalf of the Federal Agency for Civic Education and is based on extensive historical research and expert consultation with historians specializing in contemporary and police history. It is not a retelling of real history, but rather uses fictionalized, historically plausible scenarios to encourage discussion about government action, democracy, and extremism.
SOKO 1977: Anti-Terror Task Force will be released on Steam in early 2027. More information is available on the official website.

Get ready for the toughest first day on the job at a Route 66 biker bar in this Gas Station Simulator Prequel
Kraków, Poland – May 19, 2026 – Roadhouse Simulator, the action-packed biker bar management simulator from publisher DRAGO Entertainment and prequel to Gas Station Simulator which has sold 2M units, busts through the saloon doors with an action-packed Prologuechapter, out today on PC via Steam!
In this bare-knuckle opening chapter, relive the rowdy early days of Gas Station Simulator’s Uncle, who gets off a shoddy bus on a remote stretch of the legendary Route 66. Kick off a career as a bouncer at the All The Dots bar and grill, a local watering hole attracting unwanted attention.
Keep the business running smoothly and the bar’s rough-around-the-edges patrons mostly civil, maintaining a sharp eye on who’s coming in. Climb the ranks from bouncer to bartender, and help the saloon flourish into a respectable establishment while fending off biker gangs threatening to cause a ruckus and overstay their welcome. Things can get pretty unruly at All The Dots, even at the best of times, so be prepared to step in and “de-escalate” things if bar confrontations turn violent. Roll up your sleeves and restore order with stern words or a swift fist – and when the local biker gang rolls up in force, get ready for a full-on free-for-all to maintain order by any means necessary.
“The Prologue is just a first taste of what we have in store in the full game,” said Joanna Tynor, CEO of DRAGO Entertainment. “This is just the first day on the job, but trust me – this is a baptism by fire.”
Look forward to a more extensive Roadhouse Simulator demo later this year, which will include more in-depth mechanics, including managing a fully featured bar.
DRAGO entertainment began operations in 1998 in Krakow, Poland. The company initially focused on creating innovative projects for international video publishers as an external contractor while strengthening internal competencies and creating a friendly and professional team to develop their own titles. Since adopting a new strategy in 2018, their goal is to deliver high-quality productions on an international level.
The studio’s flagship title is Gas Station Simulator, which released on September 15, 2021 and immediately became a best seller on Steam. DRAGO entertainment is currently broadening their horizons with new projects and continuing to support their current titles.
