Abelard, Announce That Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader Has Sold More Than 2 Million Copies!

A physical edition will also arrive on PlayStation 5 and Switch 2 this October

Nicosia, Cyprus (June 24, 2026) | Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, Owlcat Games’ celebrated CRPG set in the Darkness of the 41st Millennium, has reached another important milestone with more than 2 million copies sold across PC and consoles. Additionally, the game will receive a physical debut this October in collaboration with Silver Lining, as the Voidfarer Edition launches on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2.

Since Rogue Trader’s launch in 2023, more than 2 million players have become captains of their own voidships, recruited a crew of strong and fanatical companions (whilst also becoming intimately acquainted with many of them), and built their own private empire in the Koronus Expanse. The game has since gone on to launch three expansive DLCs, all completely integrated into the main story,  alongside new companions, quests, and mechanics, with more on the horizon.

Players have been contributing a myriad of feedback on what they love and hate (Footfall Sewers take the prize for most hated location by a country mile) and what they would like to see in the game. For example, companions and how well they are written are one of the most important aspects of the game. The companion deemed the most interesting is still Seneschal Abeldard, who takes his duty to represent the von Valancius dynasty very seriously indeed, and there are still many players whose dearest wish is to be able to romance Sister Argenta…

Starting October 15, 2026, prospective players and collectors on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 will also have the opportunity to purchase a physical edition of the game, for the very first time. Produced by Silver Lining, the physical Voidfarer Edition contains the main game, both Void Shadows and Lex Imperialis DLCs, as well as a number of digital goods and exclusive in-game items.

More about the edition can be found in this trailer.

New players and fans of the franchise should also keep an eye on the Steam Summer Sale running from today to July 9.

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is available for PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG, as well as console via PlayStation 4|5, XBOX One and Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Additional content is available on all platforms except Switch 2. The DLC content will arrive on Switch 2 later this year with more information to come.

BESIEGE: THE BROKEN BEYOND BLASTS OFF TODAY – THE MEDIEVAL PHYSICS BUILDER LAUNCHES INTO SPACE

Spiderling Studios’ Biggest-Ever Expansion Is Out Now On Steam

LONDON, U.K, 24 June 2026 — Spiderling Studios today launched The Broken Beyond, the largest and most ambitious expansion so far for its physics-building game Besiege. Available now on Steam, The Broken Beyond takes the series’ trademark catastrophe off-world for the first time, challenging players to build volatile rocketships, launch them into orbit, and wreak devastation across an entire star system.

Where the base game tasked players with constructing medieval war machines to topple castles and crush armies, The Broken Beyond asks a far more dangerous question: what happens when you bolt machines to rocket boosters and aim them at the stars? The answer, predictably, is carnage in a physics playground.

Mastering (and Surviving) Space Flight
At the heart of the expansion is a full simulation that pushes Besiege’s physics into mind-bending new territory. Every large object in a level – planets, moons, and sizable asteroids – generates its own gravitational field, letting players jump between asteroids, establish orbits, and slingshot around celestial bodies. Misjudge it, and you can shove a moon clean out of orbit or send rocks careening into one another in a chain reaction of debris.

Planets are wrapped in atmospheres that bring aerodynamics into play. Wings and balloons generate lift, propellers find purchase, and grid fins and parachutes can slow a screaming atmospheric re-entry.

In true Besiege form, space flight is easy to start but challenging to master. Slap a few blocks together and you have a (badly) functioning rocket that somehow flies. Over time, learn to engineer complex vessels capable of clean takeoff, stable orbit, and controlled re-entry.

13 New Space Blocks and A Dynamic Fuel SystemThe Broken Beyond introduces 13 new blocks designed specifically for spaceflight, including the Blaster, a heavy weapon that fires superheated bursts of fuel. As well as the Booster for rocket propulsion, Control Thrusters and Inertial Steering for attitude control, plus Rocket Fins, Grid Fins and Parachutes for aerodynamic stability.

The expansion also brings resource management to Besiege for the very first time via a new fuel system. Players must balance fuel reserves against their machine’s mass – carrying enough to feed their boosters and weapons, while staying light enough to actually leave the ground. New Fuel Barrels, Hoses, Couplers, and an automation-ready Fuel Gauge give engineers the tools to craft everything from basic rockets to advanced multi-stage launch systems.

An 11-level Campaign Spanning A Fractured Star System
The Broken Beyond features a brand-new 11-level campaign that carries players from familiar ground to the far reaches of space. It opens with a blast-off from Ipsilion – the original island where Besiege began – before escalating into ever more outlandish set-pieces: laying siege to a fortress perched atop a drifting asteroid, racing through canyons on a tiny desert planet, and battling against swarms of alien spacecraft.

The campaign’s centrepiece is exactly the kind of spectacle Besiege fans live for: the chance to destroy an entire planet by hurling an iron moon into it.

An Interplanetary Sandbox and A Multiplayer Level Editor for Space Carnage
Beyond the campaign, The Broken Beyond adds a vast new cosmic sandbox of planets, moons and structures to destroy.

The expansion also extends Besiege’s powerful level editor into space, with planets, enemies, gravitational fields, and more to build with – all playable in Besiege’s multiplayer environment alongside friends.

Quote“The Broken Beyond is Besiege’s largest expansion to date, with loads of new blocks, levels, and physics mechanics to play around with!” says Toby Hawkins, producer for the project. “Space felt like the next logical environment to explore following The Splintered Sea expansion, and we’re nerds, so we had a lot of fun with the new physics possibilities,” he continues. “Some people may question the logic behind a medieval space program, but those people have clearly never played Besiege…”. “Our community is crazy creative, and we can’t wait to see what epic machines they’ll make with all this new content!”

Availability
Besiege: The Broken Beyond is available now on Steam (PC, macOS, and Linux), priced at $8.99 USD. It requires the base game, Besiege, which has earned an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating from more than 47,000 Steam reviews. A Midweek Deal is running on Steam alongside the release of the base game at a 90% discount.

Aspiring inventors new to Besiege can purchase the Spacefarer Edition bundle for both the base game and expansion. The Mad Engineer Edition bundle will also be available for fans eager to support Spiderling Studios, featuring a master album of the game’s OST and an in-game animated cube skin in addition to the base game and both expansions.

About Besiege
Besiege is a physics-based game about constructing medieval machines to annihilate armies, obliterate castles and overcome challenging obstacles. Players build siege engines, battering rams, ballistas and anything else they can imagine using an intuitive, flexible building system, then unleash them in a campaign, in vast sandbox levels or in online multiplayer. Backed by an active modding community and over 200,000 community-made machines on the Steam Workshop, Besiege launched in 2020 and remains one of the most beloved physics sandboxes on the platform.

About Spiderling Studios
Spiderling Studios is the independent UK developer and publisher behind Besiege. The studio is known for its deeply simulated, endlessly creative approach to physics-based building games, and for a community that turns its tools into things its creators never imagined.

Co-op Soulslike Serpent’s Gaze Gets Sale Discount & Early Access Roadmap

Ahead of the Steam Summer Sale kicking off tomorrow, Feeble Minds is pleased to announce that their 1-4 player Early Access co-op soulslike, Serpent’s Gaze, will be taking part in the sale. The game will have a 20% discount, making it available for $11.99 / €12.79 / £11. While the game already sits at 90% positive reviews on Steam, the team remains committed to making it even better, today announcing details of the roadmap for Serpent’s Gaze as they continue to make improvements and add new content during the Early Access period.

Stability and balancing will be the focus in the short term, though there will also be some new gameplay content added which will be announced soon. In the mid-term, the team plans to add more weapons and classes, more upgrades, more curses, more blessings and more quests. Looking towards 1.0, the team will add a whole new domain with 4 levels, 4 bosses and many more enemies. New questlines, weapons, upgrades and achievements will also be added for 1.0.

Serpent’s Gaze blends punishing co-op third-person action with the creeping build-creation of roguelikes. Blessings from deities, gifts from your patron and strange relics can be utilised on your pilgrimage as you shape unique builds on each run through handcrafted levels. Create a character that thrives on quick kills thanks to Aspect of the Plague – which gives you temporary stat points when you kill a foe – and supplement it with blessings that increase the duration of buffs, and upgrades that scale with your stats. Or, don the Aspect of the Bold to gain damage for each point of health missing to start building a character made for revenge. Combine this with a massive health pool, slow health restoration and a relic that can sacrifice your own health to stagger enemies, and you will be seeking out pain to return as punishment.

Serpent’s Gaze is available now in Early Access on Steam.

MobyGames Begins Beta Careers Program Designed for Game Industry Professionals

Toolset assists in job seeking, business development and networking

Today Atari is announcing Moby Professional, which consists of both free and premium features designed for those working in the video game industry. Moby Professional is designed to assist in:

  • Job seeking — industry professionals at any career stage navigating the job market, using verified credits and network intelligence to find and pursue the right opportunities.
  • Business development — studio BD leads, producers, and publishing executives mapping the market, tracking competitors, and finding co-development partners.
  • Networking — developers who want to stay informed about new projects, studio moves, industry news, and how they connect to the people and companies around them.

MobyGames has spent the last 25 years building the most complete, structured record of game development credits in existence.  The MobyGames database now includes data on more than 350,000 games and add-ons, 1.3 million individuals, and 50,000 companies.

Over the past few years game industry professionals have endured significant volatility, including layoffs, studio closures and consolidation, a sharp rise in freelance and contract work, and a job market where even experienced professionals struggle to understand where opportunities exist and how to reach them. The tools available to the games industry professionals haven’t kept up. Generic professional networks don’t cater to the nuances of working in gaming , and job boards don’t capture the network and personalized intelligence that actually drives how careers move in this industry.

After watching incredibly talented people struggle to represent their career in spaces that don’t account for the wide variety of specialized roles and responsibilities or the significance of game credits, the team at MobyGames set out to build professional services geared towards individuals and organizations in the games industry.

“The past few years have been really hard for a lot of incredibly talented people in the games industry. They’ve had to fight an uphill battle to get noticed in a difficult hiring environment. MobyGames has spent 25 years building a database of what they’ve accomplished and who they’ve worked with. Helping them use it more directly for jobs, for visibility, for their own careers, feels like a natural next step for growing the Moby platform,” said Reece Denzel, Product Manager at Atari.

The new free tier of Moby Professional includes features that allow developers to take control of their own presence on MobyGames. By creating a free account and verifying their identity, professionals can claim their profile page and reap the benefits of a database that has already aggregated and verified their professional credits.

With a free account professionals can now:

  • Claim their developer profile
  • Add more detail to individual credits
  • Add more information regarding their role and the companies they have worked for
  • Manage privacy settings for your information
  • More is planned for the future, which will incorporate community feedback from the beta

The premium Professional subscription builds on that foundation, adding news feeds and networking tools that let job seekers stay up to date on games, peers, and companies most relevant to them, and track their job market potential and opportunities. Pricing is expected at $14.99 USD/mo, with potential early-access discounts for beta participants.

With a Moby Professional account, available for free during the beta period, users can now:

  • Visualise their gaming network and connections
  • See game launch and media coverage updates from their professional network
  • Access personalized Job postings, insights and industry tracking, including recommendations, compensation ranges, connections working at target companies, and more

“Ask any games professional what platform they use to manage their career, and you’ll hear the same frustrations — existing solutions were not designed for this industry. MobyGames has documented game credits with more depth and accuracy than anyone else for decades. Combining that foundation with a purpose-built professional network was simply the obvious thing to do,” said  Andreas Deptolla, President of Atari Europe.

The MobyGames team worked with industry professionals as they conceived and built this first toolset, and they will actively solicit feedback from participants during the beta period, which is projected to run through the end of the Summer.

Atari acquired MobyGames in March 2022 with the goal of supporting the site’s mission to document, celebrate, and preserve vital information in its database. With support from Atari, MobyGames completed a comprehensive site upgrade which has enabled more rapid development and led to a significant increase in the volume and rate of both contributions and verification.

Atari invites industry professionals, community members, and fans to stay tuned for news about the rollout plan for these new features coming to MobyGames.

Istanbul-based indie studio UGC90 launches its Akihabara gacha shop sim into Early Access on Steam and takes Japanese VTuber communities by storm, with players opening 14.6 million gacha capsules in just two weeks!

Gacha Capsule Shop Simulator – Akihabara has released into Early Access on Steam, inviting players to run their own capsule toy shop in the heart of Tokyo’s famous otaku district. The game went live on June 8, 2026 and immediately started spreading across Japanese and Asian streaming communities.

Within days after the release, some of Japan’s most popular VTubers and streamers, including Pekora, Retort, Sakuna, Karubi Akami, and SANNINSHOW,  picked up the game and streamed it for marathon sessions lasting between three and eight hours. Many creators have already returned for multiple broadcasts, with their communities generating a steady flow of clips, memes, and fan art across social media platforms.

The game gives a fresh take on Akihabara and lets players grow their capsule empire. Neon lights, cosplayers, billboards, maid promoters, tourists, local anime fans, JDM cars, “truck‑kun,” and authentic city soundscapes all come together to bring the streets around the shop to life. Daytime focuses on running the business and serving customers, while nighttime activities unlock side events such as an underground robot fighting club where players can place bets and meet colorful characters.

UGC90 emphasizes that nearly a year of development has been shaped by community feedback, with players helping refine systems, content, and quality-of-life features throughout testing and demos. The game’s active Discord community continues to contribute ideas and suggestions for each new milestone and update.

Gacha Capsule Shop Simulator – Akihabara has already surpassed 50,000 wishlists on Steam, with more than 19,000 players jumping into the Early Access build in the first two weeks. And this is just the beginning. UGC90 is preparing an upcoming Automation Program update, built directly from community feedback, which will introduce smarter automation tools, improved management systems, and new progression features designed to support hundreds of hours of long-term gameplay.

At launch, the Early Access version includes 24 capsule pack licenses, a variety of interactive gacha machines, and features such as rapid multi-capsule opening to keep the pace snappy.
