Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Features Playable Coco Bandicoot

While waiting for Sony to kick off their E3 2017 press conference Activision debuted the gameplay launch trailer for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy with a ‘Better With Crashitude’ trailer that has revealed that they will be adding Coco Bandicoot as a playable character, marking her first time as a playable character outside of the various mini-game spin-offs such as the racing games.

Currently Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, which includes Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot: Warped, is set to be released as a PlayStation 4 exclusive on June 30th and you can check out the trailer below.

Creation Club Bringing Paid 3rd Party Content to Fallout 4 and Skyrim

During their E3 2017 presentation, Bethesda announced Creation Club will be coming to Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One this summer. The program will offer a way for content creators to work with Bethesda to create new content to both games and get paid for their efforts. The program will require content creators to pitch new ideas to Bethesda. Once accepted, Bethesda and the creator will work together to develop the idea into a full fledged DLC that can be bought with Creation Club credits. The resulting content will be checked through Bethesda’s quality assurance team, meaning it will be 100% compatible with all save files, achievements, DLCs, and other Creation Club content. For gamers, the credits are purchased through their platform’s store and are transferable between all three platforms.

Bethesda’s latest efforts to continue monetizing Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is incredibly intriguing. The PR nightmare that followed the Skyrim paid mods program of 2015 was swift and merciless for both Valve and Bethesda. The company is clearly making an effort to prove it is not making the same mistake twice. Technically, this is the same as contracting out the development of an expansion pack to a game to a smaller studio at a much smaller scale, but the bigger question is if the fans will see it the same way.

Cuphead Releasing on September 29th

After Cuphead was delayed late last year developer Studio MDHR was able to announce at the Microsoft E3 2017 press conference that they finally have nailed down a release date for the retro styled run and gun action game. The title will be released for the Xbox One and PC on September 29th, though the price tag is still unknown.

For those who haven’t been following the game, Cuphead is inspired by cartoons of the 1930s, the visuals and audio are painstakingly created with the same techniques of the era where players will play as Cuphead or Mugman (in single player or local co-op) as you traverse strange worlds, acquire new weapons, learn powerful super moves, and discover hidden secrets while you try to pay your debt back to the devil.

Code Vein Confirmed for Xbox One, E3 Trailer Released

Towering skyscrapers, once symbols of prosperity, are now lifeless graves of humanity’s past pierced by the Thorns of Judgment. At the center of the destruction lies a hidden society of Revenants called Vein. This final stronghold is where the remaining few fight to survive, blessed with Gifts of power in exchange for their memories and a thirst for blood. Give into the bloodlust fully and risk becoming one of the Lost, fiendish ghouls devoid of any remaining humanity. Wandering aimlessly in search of blood, the Lost will stop at nothing to satisfy their hunger. Team up and embark on a journey to the ends of hell to unlock your past and escape your living nightmare.
