ABLEGAMERS’ PLAYER PANELS INITIATIVE EMPOWERS GAMERS WITH DISABILITIES TO SHAPE THE FUTURE OF VIDEO GAME INDUSTRY ACCESSIBILITY

Disabled Gamers Can Join the AbleGamers Player Panels Team to Work Alongside Leading Game Companies To Ensure Everyone Can Play Video Games

Charles Town, WV (June 27, 2017) –  AbleGamers Foundation — the leading charity and organization wielding the power of gaming to break down the barriers of economic and social isolation for people with disabilities — is proud to announce Player Panels, a new initiative which partners AbleGamers and its community with leading publishers, AAA to indie developers and leading researchers to ensure game accessibility is at the forefront of game development.

“I am thrilled that the game industry has reached a point where the needs of gamers with disabilities are being heard and that AbleGamers can partner with those in a position to best implement change,” said Steve Spohn, AbleGamers COO. “The AbleGamers Player Panels initiative ensures that game companies and researchers have direct access to people with disabilities, and vice versa, for an on-going dialogue on improving accessibility. It’s also very exciting that all organizations involved have agreed to compensate participating panelists for their time.”

Working with the University of York, AbleGamers’ Player Panels enlists gamers with disabilities to work with video game companies and researchers directly to help lead the charge in improved accessibility technologies and game design practices. Player Panels team members will leverage their personal challenges (due to their various disabilities) faced while playing games, helping enhance and shape and the future of game accessibility based on real-world, first-hand experiences.

“For the last 12 years, AbleGamers’ in-house accessibility experts have provided game companies with critical input through our game accessibility reviews and Includification resources,” said Christopher Power, Vice President of AbleGamers and Lecturer at the University of York. “Player Panels is the natural progression of that program. All of our testers live with disabilities, which allows them to offer the game industry in-depth insight to potential solutions that may not be apparent to people who have studied, but have not experienced disability firsthand.”

AbleGamers’ Player Panels will connect disabled gamers and top organizations that share the mutual goal of making sure as many people as possible can game regardless of their disability. Player Panels team member qualifications only require a love of video games and some form of disability. Those approved will be compensated for their time and expertise. Gamers with disabilities who are interested in joining can sign up today at www.ablegamers.org/player-panels.

Pre-orders available soon in U.S., available now in Europe

Teesside, England – June 27, 2017 – Developer Coilworks and publisher Double Eleven announced today that Super Cloudbuilt, the blazing-fast sci-fi parkour platformer, will make the leap to PlayStation 4® and Windows PC via Steam on July 25th, with an arrival on Xbox One, the all-in-one entertainment system from Microsoft, following on July 28th.

Pre-orders in the U.S. are coming soon on PlayStation 4, and anyone who opts for the head-start will gain access to a demo which includes a tutorial, three levels from the full game and the Playground practice arena. With Super Cloudbuilt’s emphasis on shaving off tenths of a second to reach the top of each stage’s leaderboard, the demo is a fantastic chance to start discovering routes to stay ahead of the competition.

Originally launched on PC in 2014 as Cloudbuilt, Coilworks and Double Eleven have fully remastered the experience, from enhancements to base mechanics to the stunning visuals throughout the game’s futuristic setting.

Super Cloudbuilt challenges players to guide Demi, a young soldier who awakens in a stretch of overgrown ruins, through stages demanding split-second platforming precision and a steady hand with Demi’s blaster above a bottomless void. Demi learns more about her new surroundings as players hurtle their way through this world toward one of the game’s multiple endings.

Between its Story, Ranked and Rush modes, alternate visual styles, and a total of 177 distinct challenges, Super Cloudbuilt offers a wealth of content for players to chase incredible clear times in, whether they’re keen on improving their own records or topping those of their leaderboard rivals.

Pre-Order The Stealth Action Game And Receive Special Bonuses

[LONDON – June 27, 2017] Get ready to dispose of incriminating evidence and avoid police detection as indie publisher Curve Digital and developer iFun4All bring the fast-paced stealth action game, Serial Cleaner, to PlayStation 4 on July 11, as well as Xbox One and Steam (PC, Mac and Linux) on July 14. Starting today people can pre-order Serial Cleaner for $14.99 on Xbox One and receive a free copy of cyberpunk game The Swindle. Later this week PlayStation Plus subscribers can pre-order Serial Cleaner in Europe to receive a 20% discount and the game’s soundtrack, while North American PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive the same bonuses at launch.

Set in the 1970s, Serial Cleaner has players sneak around bloody crime scenes to clean up incriminating evidence by disposing of bodies, covering up bloodstains and hiding murder weapons all while avoiding the police. To succeed players must explore, experiment and make swift decisions in order to avoid police detection. Get caught and players earn a black mark on their protagonist’s career.

Serial Cleaner is the perfect game for anyone wanting to challenge themselves and their stealth skills,” said Krzysztof Zięba, designer and writer at iFun4all. “The game is tough, but fair, so players need to plan their moves accordingly and improvise on the fly in order to avoid the police.”

In Serial Cleaner players can partake in Story Mode where they will play a 20-level campaign to discover the Cleaner’s backstory and discover a crazy cast of characters, including his mother. Players can also test their skills in Challenge Mode, which has players compete in a bevy of nail-bitingly hard modes such as Drunk Mode and a mode where they won’t be able to see an enemy’s vision cones.

Players must also be wary of their environment as the game uses real-world data to modify levels accordingly with the current time of day in a player’s whereabouts. Noise detection and “sneakability” will vary between night and day, and mean the difference between freedom and jail.

Serial Cleaner is currently available as a prototype in Steam Early Access and at launch will have hours of additional content, including new levels, game modes and much more. For more information on Serial Cleaner, please visit the game’s website, or Curve Digital’s Facebook and Twitter pages.

UTILISE AN EXTENSIVE BATTLE SYSTEM TO FIGHT FOR THE THRONE IN WARRIORS ALL-STARS

UTILISE AN EXTENSIVE BATTLE SYSTEM TO FIGHT FOR THE THRONE IN WARRIORS ALL-STARS

Awaken The Power Of Team Work And Save A World on the Brink of Destruction!

Hertfordshire, 27th June 2017 – KOEI TECMO Europe today detailed the comprehensive battle systems featured in developer Omega Force’s latest one-versus-thousands action title and celebration of everything KOEI TECMO, Warriors All-Stars. The crossover action title is slated to release on the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Windows PC via Steam® on the 1st September 2017. An action-packed new trailer released alongside today’s announcement highlights enhancements headed to the tried-and-true gameplay of the Warriors franchise, while featuring members of the game’s Setsuna Clan, including Kasumi, Honoka and Marie Rose from DEAD OR ALIVE, Arnice and Christophorus from Nights of Azure, Laegrinna and Millennia from the DECEPTION series, Nobunaga Oda from Nobunaga’s Ambition, Rio from Rio, and the young prince Setsuna.

The extensive battle system of Warriors All-Stars aims to encapsulate each champion’s unique charm and identity while augmenting the Warriors franchise’s trademark one-versus-thousands style with exciting new additions. For example, players can recruit up to four Warriors to fight alongside them and execute special attacks such as the thrilling Musou Rush, which can be used to rally support and clear the surrounding area of any opposition. Unique Hero Skills are also on offer, allowing players to summon a chosen ally and deal a special attack to enemy forces, or to provide defensive support in tight situations. Some Hero Skills can be used in tandem to create Combo Skills – a mighty force to be reckoned with.

Furthermore, players are able to call upon their allies during combos and chain attacks to inflict even greater damage! Hero Combos are executed at the end of a successful offensive sequence, uniting allied Warriors to unleash a synchronised attack that wipes out waves of oncoming foes, and Hero Chains link multiple Warriors together for powerful attacks while allowing the player to individually control any of the summoned heroes. These attacks increase the relationship between party members and in turn strengthen their abilities. Fighting alongside allies will also improve the player’s offensive and defensive capabilities by increasing Brave Rating. Once a player’s Brave Rating is at a high enough level, impressive Awakening Skills will be unlocked, which unleash a forceful barrage of attacks onto anything in its path.
