To celebrate the upcoming launch of TARTARUS, we’ve just released the official launch trailer!
Cooper, the cook on the space mining ship TARTARUS, awakens on the floor of the galley with no idea what has happened. The ship’s security protocol has been engaged, locking the doors and turning TARTARUS into a flying prison. As the sirens wail and the emergency lights flash, the powerless ship drifts closer to falling out of orbit and crashing to the surface of Neptune.
The only person Cooper can reach on the intercom is Andrews, the ship’s system engineer. With Andrews trapped himself, it falls to Cooper, a man with no training in the old ship’s rudimentary terminal systems, to save the MRS TARTARUS and her crew. In addition to the navigating the computer systems, Cooper will also have to deal with mechanical problems as pipes burst and the ship’s engines are pushed beyond their breaking points.
Can Cooper, with only the voice of Andrews as aid, bring the ship back online and save TARTARUS? Or will the entire crew be lost in space, 2.7 billion miles from home?
TARTARUS is a first-person exploration game with roots in iconic science-fiction films. Players will have to use realistic computer commands to break into the ship’s systems, and puzzles will harken back to classic puzzle games that often required a pen and paper to solve.
With the unique game mechanics, retro-futuristic style, and command-line terminal system, TARTARUS looks to bring you a different kind of gaming experience.
Tartarus will launch Tuesday, November 21, 2017, 07:00pm(PT) for PC.
Vehicle combat MMO celebrates successful half a decade with massive game update, specials and discounts for its millions of players
Thursday, November 2nd, 2017 — Gaijin Entertainment’s popular vehicle combat MMO War Thunder is celebrating its five year anniversary with a massive game update with free exclusive premium vehicles, gifts for active players, discounts on in-game content and more. Update 1.73 “Vive la France” introduces France as the game’s seventh nation, an early spearhead of Italian tanks and naval forces, new air and land vehicles for the other residing nations, and new gameplay features.
Update 1.73 “Vive la France” adds the seventh separate in-game nation, France, with more than 30 aircraft from early parasol aircraft to post-war jets. The French Air Force will be the first military branch represented in game, with other vehicles types to follow. Distinctive examples of French aviation found in War Thunder are the pre-war Arsenal VG.33 fighter, a plywood construction that reached an impressive 800 km/h dive speed, and the SO.4505 IIA Vautour, a multi-purpose jet that could perform tasks of both fighters and bombers, which serves as a prime example of post-war French jet design philosophy.
War Thunder now also features the first Italian tanks and ships. In advance of the launch of the Italian ground forces, early adopters can now head into battle with Premium vehicles such as the Italian P40 «Leoncello» and US-built M26 «Ariete», with the latter supplied to Italy after it switched sides during World War II. Participants of the Naval Forces Pre-Beta test also had the opportunity to try the Italian torpedo boats as well as the Soldati-class destroyer, among other vessels, on a new Naval forces location inspired by the North Sea. Additional vehicles for the other War Thunder nations include a new reinforcement for Rank VI, the armored fighting vehicle Begleitpanzer 57, and the production version of the Japanese heavy Ho-Ri tank.
The 5 Year Anniversary Celebrations kicked-off with the wheeled tank M8 Greyhound (USA) and I-29 fighter (USSR) being up for grabs as free exclusive anniversary vehicles through a set of in-game tasks. For competitive players, special anniversary tournaments offered the rare, super-heavy E-100 tank and an exclusive He 162A-1 Volksjäger jet fighter as ultimate prizes. Additionally, players that play the game between October 31st and November 6th can obtain exclusive decals, decorations and in-game boosters. Both the vehicles and rewards are dedicated to the anniversary and are only available during this period. Furthermore, all players can profit from extensive discounts of up to 50% in the War Thunder store.
More information on Update 1.73 “Vive la France” and the 5 Year Anniversary specials is available on the official War Thunder website here: http://www.warthunder.com/

Sony Interactive Entertainment Australia is pleased to announce the impressive line-up of games available to PlayStation Plus members this November.
November’s first free PS Plus title is a true icon of the industry: Worms Battlegrounds. Having been part of the gaming scene for over two decades, the increasingly absurd antics of these embattled invertebrates continues to be as gut-bustingly hilarious as ever.
Taking a totally different tact, November’s second game delivers something a little more contemplative. 2016’s collaboration between indie development team Plastic and Santa Monica Studio produced the artful and balletic platformer Bound. A deeply emotive story told through abstract geometry, player movement and metaphor, it invites you on a surreal and dreamlike journey into the main character’s memories.
On top of the two main games, the gloriously grisly PS VR exclusive Until Dawn: Rush of Blood is also available for PS plus members. From the same team that brought you horror-hit Until Dawn, this unique spin-off draws inspiration from the original game – including locations and characters – and, using the power of PS VR, plunges you into a haunted carnival ride of truly disturbing proportions.
And as if that wasn’t enough, PlayLink title That’s You! will also be available for the players who haven’t picked it up already. In this irreverent party quiz you and up to five of your friends and family get to find out what you really think about each other. With your TV, PS4 and a tablet or smartphone in hand, answer over 1,000 funny questions, take part in daring doodle challenges, snap selfies for photo challenges and more.
