BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe reveals today new screenshots about the upcoming action title CODE VEIN. The new assets highlight more details about the battle system, the character creation tool and 2 new characters.
Battle system of CODE VEIN is varied and offers a lot of possibilities for players:
For example the Gift system allows them to use up to 8 gifts during battles to temporarily increase attacks or defense actions. Some other gifts are passive and they are gained with specific items or equipment.
With the Stamina Gauge, players will be able to manage all of their actions including attacks, evading, dashing and Drain. This is crucial to control their actions and they will need to be very attentive to the stamina gauge to survive in CODE VEIN. With a successful Drain action, the number of Ichor points will be increased as well as the maximum number of Ichor stock. A Special Drain, performed under special conditions, will not only increase the number of Ichor and the stock but also cause a massive damage to enemies. The Special Drain action will be possible after a successful parry with the same timing as the enemy’s attack, a successful attack from the back or a combo attack.
Player character abilities are temporarily increased with the Focus System during battles when they are receiving or dodging an attack and when they are surrounding by multiple enemies. This system allows players to fight back in extreme situations and get power boost when they decide to intentionally place themselves in danger. They can for example negate an attack, increase their own attack and throw enemies in the air!
The PartnerAction will also help players during fights. Companions will support them by attacking from the side, enhancing the skills and sharing Health Points when it’s needed.
The new assets of the day reveal also more details about new characters and the Character Creation where players will be able to create their own protagonist from the gender, body and hair styles to the voice of the character.
The young leader Louis really wants to help Revenants suffering from bloodlust. He ventures into the isolated land of VEIN looking for the source of Blood Beads to use it as a substitute for human blood. With his one-handed sword he is a swift attack expert and can elude with the armor type Ogre.
Io is a female Revenant who explores with the protagonists. She has no memories about her past but she knows very well VEIN. She will be extremely useful for the player character!
CODE VEIN is a third-person action RPG that finds players assuming the role of a Revenant. After stumbling into Vein, players embark into the world with a companion picked from the various residents of Vein to uncover lost memories and an exit out of this new demented reality. The world of CODE VEIN is dangerous, full of vicious enemies and monstrous bosses to put players’ combat skills to the test.

NEW KIDS’ MODE REVEALED WITH SONG FROM DISNEY’S MOANA
8 kids choreographies and “How Far I’ll Go” from Disney’s Moana added to the line up
SYDNEY, Australia — September 7, 2017 — Ubisoft® has revealed details on the new Kids’ Mode for Just Dance® 2018, the newest installment of the best-selling* music game franchise of all time. With this brand new mode, Just Dance® 2018 offers parents an opportunity to let their young children play in a kid-friendly environment. Thanks to a tailored interface, scoring, choreographies and special characters, kids will be able to enjoy the game in complete autonomy, with positive and supportive feedback.
Just Dance has always been a family favorite. With Just Dance® 2018, Ubisoft created a dedicated mode for the youngest to play in collaboration with two child development experts: Martine Curtat-Cadet, child choreography expert, and Cristina Do Carmo De Sousa Gomes, child concept artist. Kids’ Mode was built to be beneficial for kids’ motor development, with a design completely adapted to this specific audience.
As Curtat-Cadetexplains: “Children aged between 3 and 6 quite often have difficulties reproducing fast and complex movements. The steps we have developed in these choreographies are associated with intentions that correspond to action verbs like running climbing, flying, catching. Inevitably the child will learn and will integrate the choreographies naturally and not by imitation. Additionally, dancing really helps children to acquire scholarly skills like writing, reading and art as well.”
As a result, 8 songs have been choreographed for kids to encourage healthy movement. The choreographies are much easier than the traditional Just Dance songs and children can really identify with characters and universes such as embodying a fearless pirate on the deck of a ship; a supergirl off to save the world; a funky robot; a magical Halloween experience, and lots more.
The game’s interface in this mode has also been simplified with less text and a continuous and random play mode that parents can decide to activate. The scoring system was adapted too, in order to make it more generous and positive, for children to feel encouraged as they dance.
Finally, for young and old alike, Just Dance 2018’s main mode will include “How Far I’ll Go” from Disney’s hit animated fantasy-adventure feature Moana, produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios.
Just Dance 2018 will be available on all motion-control gaming platforms, including Nintendo Switch™, Wii U™, Wii™, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system on October 26.

Sydney, Australia – September 7, 2017 –Ubisoft has announced that fans of the Assassin’s Creed universe will be able to take home two new Ubicollectibles figurines by purchasing them on the Ubisoft® Store starting October the 27th.
The figurine of Aya and the Hidden Blade will enrich the collection of the Bayek figurine and the Apple of Eden previously announced.
Each item have been crafted by hand for several months using 3D models from the game to offer premium quality. They are highly detailed pieces enhanced by a set of discernible textures and materials such as PVC or ABS.
Bayek – The figurine shows Bayek and his eagle Senu targeting their next prey. The Bayek figurine comes with a shield and weapons, including a bow and arrows, a sword and the Hidden Blade.
Bayek is a Berber-Egyptian. As a Medjay, he is one of the last in a long line of protectors of Ancient Egypt. Personal tragedy forced him to leave his home town and travel through Egypt. His journey will lead to the creation of the Brotherhood of Assassins.
The figurine of Aya shows her equipped with a dual wielding blade in a combat posture. Aya is a native of Alexandria and has both Egyptian and Greek ancestors. During her youth, she moved to Siwa where she met Bayek. While not a Medjay herself, Aya embraced the cause of Bayek when she married him. The Apple of Eden – This official reproduction of the relic that will be seen in Assassin’s creed Origins is equipped with a led system so that the life size replica illuminates from within.
Among the most coveted Pieces of Eden, Apples are powerful artefacts designed by an ancient civilization to ensure humanity’s subservience, potentially allowing control over a subject’s thoughts, emotions and behavior.
The Hidden Blade – This secret weapon can be worn like Bayek or displayed as a collector piece. The hidden blade is a limited and numbered Edition with a Certificate of Authenticity: only 9,999 copies will be available.
During his long journey through Egypt, Bayek quickly uses this weapon as a faithful and lethal ally. Bayek’s Hidden blade is known to be the first one ever among the Assassin’s Brotherhood.
