Barrel through swarms, collect valuable resources, and conquer the Arena!
Vancouver, British Columbia, May 21st, 2026: Buffalo Buffalo is excited to announce their newest project, Re:Rite, with a brand new cinematic reveal trailer at SixOneIndie Showcase. Re:Rite is a chaotic PvE game where you physically grow throughout a match, scheduled for release later this year.
Transform from a tiny, scrappy survivor into a skyscraper-sized Kaiju, as you fight through swarms of enemies in this chaotic PvE game.
Play how you like, whether it’s growing quickly to dominate the playing field or using your tiny size to your advantage, your goal is simple: defeat swarms of enemies and earn Bloom to crack through the giant crystal cocoons hiding bosses across the map.
Crash into the world of Re:Rite
After the miracle resource Lithium-16 turned Earth into a utopian playground, the wells began to dry. Now the Seeds, a small cast of delightfully unhinged survivors, must relinquish their human form to defeat enemies and collect the last living veins ofLithium-16 hiding in the Chrysalis (and maybe release something even more sinister).
Seamlessly switch between melee and ranged combat.
Arm yourself with both ranged and melee weapons before you jump into the fray, switching your combat style as you go! Whether you’re a lover of close quarters hack-and-slash combat or you want to decimate the field with bullet hell-like ranged weapons, taking back control of the battlefield is a matter of strategy and your will to rewrite your every decision.
Rewrite your next battle with Shells, Seeds, and two weapons of your choice.
Each run comes with the ability to customize your build down to the finest details. Shells offer unique dash abilities, Seeds offer buffs to your next run, and you can choose both a unique melee and a ranged weapon for every battle.
Enjoy modulated proximity chat with up to 3 friends!
Team up with friends to battle hordes of enemies together or take up your weapons against one another in PvPvE mode. Modulated Proximity Chat offers another level to the growing and shrinking mechanic, with voices modulated to your dynamic size. Laugh along with your fellow players as your voice goes from squeaky mouse to thundering monster!
Features:
Fight against swarms of enemies and battle through mini-bosses spread across the map
Play solo or with friends in online multiplayer
Seamlessly switch between melee and ranged combat
Grow to enormous Kaiju throughout the battle or shrink strategically back down to slip past enemies
Choose from 4 different mechs, dozens of weapons, and customize every jump into the arena
Coordinate with friends with modulated proximity chat – where your voice will change depending on your size

Explore abandoned places or command your partner from the control van in this horrifying and hilarious co-op creepfest
Paris, France – May 21st, 2026 – Game Atelier, the acclaimed studio behind Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom and Otherskin, are pleased to announce that their upcoming asymmetrical horror game Follow Us will be launching on Steam Early Access on June 5th. In this hilarious and horrifying relationship stress test, one player explores a spooky environment, while another guides them remotely from the van, trying to keep their partner alive.
Each round begins with players choosing between two roles:
The Explorer (EXY): Bravely navigate a deadly, haunted environment
The Operator (OPY): Hang back safe in the van, hacking the playspace to protect their partner
Built on communication rather than complex mechanics, Follow Us creates tension by combining two different things: isolation and connection. Expect panic, shouting, and miscommunication. One wrong call can get your partner killed, and yes, it will probably be your fault.
Available levels
Ökaou (from the demo): A maze-like Ikea store. OPY guides EXY through the layout and can trigger light cameras to freeze the mannequins that come to life.
A Night with DJ Susan (new): A “spot the difference” puzzle level: OPY and EXY don’t see quite the same thing, and players must communicate to identify the anomalies.
Employee of the Month (new): An invincible enemy stalks EXY throughout the entire level. OPY controls doors and tracks the creature’s position through an electrical system to keep their partner alive.
Every mission plays with fear in a different way… but they all end the same way: shared panic, bad decisions, and laughter. The Explorer experiences isolation and danger in the field, while the operator suffers through helplessness and constant pressure. Every swap creates a fresh emotional scenario, making each playthrough completely different with unexpected communication conflicts guaranteed to create creepy co-op chaos! Using lo-fi chunky PSone-inspired graphics, everything in Follow Us aims for a clean, immediately legible aesthetic so anyone can hop right into the action and understand its horrific hijinks!
“We really wanted to recreate that feeling we have all had while watching one of our friends play a horror game,” said Hugo at Game Atelier. “During one playtest, one player was curled up in fear while the other was yelling at them to keep moving forward through the level. That was the moment we knew the experience was working.
That’s Follow Us: a mix of fear, courage, trust, and responsibility that will seriously put your ability to communicate to the test.
Of course, Follow Us is still evolving, and we’re going to continue to iterate on it based on player feedback throughout Early Access. We’re looking forward to seeing how players respond to Follow Us’ communication-based co-op systems when it launches on May 28th!”
About Game Atelier: Founded in 2010, Game Atelier is an independent studio with AAA-indie expertise, dedicated to crafting player-focused action-adventure games that blend creativity with technical craftsmanship. IODINE is a bizarre creature from Ireland, a country famously obsessed with death, mythology and what other people think about you. Primarily a musician, they got into developing games as a vessel to carry their music. But then the vessel grew legs, and eyes, and a conscience, and we had to do something about it. Their games aim to bridge the gap between the incomprehensible and the understood, finding the minutiae between the gaps that make us all distinctly human and bringing them to the forefront via colourful, emotionally complicated finger puppets. Please alert us without delay if IODINE ever breaches containment.
