New trailer spotlights Bond’s reimagined origin story, the game’s ensemble cast, and cinematic stealth-action gameplay built for player-driven creativity, launching next week on May 27th
COPENHAGEN, DENMARK – May 21, 2026 – IO Interactive, the independent video game developer and publisher behind the HITMAN franchise, and Amazon MGM Studios today debuted the launch trailer for 007 First Light, IO Interactive’s standalone, reimagined James Bond origin story. 007 First Light is set to release on May 27, 2026, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and in Summer 2026 on Nintendo Switch 2. Pre-orders are available now*, and players who pre-order 007 First Light will get upgraded to the 007 First Light – Deluxe Edition for free, granting a 24-hour Early Access**, as well as exclusive in-game skins and outfits.
In 007 First Light, James Bond (portrayed by Patrick Gibson) steps into the world of espionage after catching MI6’s attention, beating the odds in a precarious situation in Iceland. Bond finds an unexpected advocate in M (Priyanga Burford), who sees his ability to stay in control under pressure and backs his judgment in the field. That confidence is tested by John Greenway (Lennie James), a former 00 agent and the program’s hardline training instructor, whose disciplined, by-the-book philosophy clashes with Bond’s instinctive, improvisational style. When the rogue return of 009 becomes the 00-Programme’s first real test, Bond is set on a journey across the world, pursuing leads from the quiet Carpathian Mountains to the dangerous black market of Aleph, and into the lair of the unpredictable Bawma (Lenny Kravitz).
007 First Light puts creativity front and center through IO Interactive’s Creative Approach gameplay, following Bond across exotic but dangerous locations as he enters the world of espionage. Players can tackle objectives through stealth, direct action, or a mix of both, powered by four gameplay systems:
Spycraft that rewards observation: eavesdropping on key conversations, pickpocketing vital items, and uncovering environmental clues to open new pathways.
Bond’s Instinct gives players a versatile edge to lure enemies, bluff their way out of suspicion, or sharpen focus for precision in combat.
Q Branch gadgets expand tactical options for hacking, lock cutting, distractions, elimination, and quiet takedowns.
When stealth breaks, combat is fast and fluid, blending impactful close-quarters takedowns with ranged gunplay and an escalation that reflects Bond’s measured use of force, up to his Licence to Kill.
Replayability continues beyond the story, with Tactical Simulation (TacSim), a replay-focused mode set in an MI6 secret facility. TacSim will open with the first two missions at first, then will be fully accessible once players complete the game, to replay challenges in other levels. TacSim challenges players with modifiers in scored missions and progression-driven unlocks, encouraging experimentation, mastery, and new ways to approach each scenario.
With only 6 days to go until 007 First Light launches, players will be invited to experience Bond’s reimagined origin story and earn the number on May 27th.
007 First Lightis releasing on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, on Amazon.com, as well as for PC on Steam and Epic Games Store. A Nintendo Switch 2 version will follow later this Summer 2026. 007 First Light is available in Standard, Deluxe, Collector’s, and Legacy Editions. More details can be found at https://ioi.dk/007firstlightgame.

New Hero [Enigmatic Helper] Clotho, Limited-Time Events and Various Content Also Added
LOS ANGELES – MAY 21, 2026 – Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality games, has released a new update for its anime open world RPG The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, introducing enhanced accessibility features for players who are blind or have low vision, alongside limited-time events and new content.
The accessibility improvements were inspired by feedback from a player in Japan, who sent a heartfelt letter written in braille and text. In the letter, the player shared that he was able to enjoy the world of The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin through sound, including fully voiced characters, background music, and environmental audio, while also suggesting that audio guidance for object locations and directions would further enhance open-world exploration.
The development team responded by introducing a dedicated sound accessibility option. When enabled, the feature provides enhanced audio cues for low HP status, treasure chest discovery, and more that helps players better understand their surroundings during exploration and combat. The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin also plans to further improve accessibility with directional guidance for key objects such as main quests, sub quests, gathering points, and treasure chests.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin has also received various messages of support from players around the world. A player in the United States sent a letter that shares their deep appreciation for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin and praises how the game allows the “player” to become the protagonist and directly experience the stories and challenges of its characters.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin introduced the new hero [Enigmatic Helper] Clotho on May 13. Clotho is an original hero unique to the game and features Wind and Cold attributes.
From May 21 through June 4, the game will run the new event dungeon “Temple of Love.” This story-based event begins through NPC Turan and unfolds through sequential quests over seven days. Players can earn limited-time titles, accessories, Regular Hero Draw Tickets, and other rewards through the event.
Additional events include a solo record-based challenge for dungeons, field bosses, and Timespace Junction. Players can earn event currency and exchange it for rewards such as Brilliant Engraving Seal and SSR Magic Crystal Shard. A cumulative mission event based on Cube Key usage will be available as well that offer various rewards based on the number of Cube Keys used.
The update opens the Ranking Board Pre-Season, covering Field Bosses, Boss Challenges, Dungeons, and Timespace Junction, while Timespace Junction Season I continues with new seasonal rewards, first-clear rewards, star-grade rewards, and SSR growth and engraving-related items.
Based on the hit Japanese manga and anime IP The Seven Deadly Sins, which has sold over 55 million copies globally, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin lets players explore Britannia in a vast open world. It features tag-based combat, combination skills, and customizable teams using diverse characters and weapons. Multiplayer elements include forming parties for exploration or teaming up to defeat bosses.

WELLINGTON, NEW ZEALAND – May 21st, 2026 – Unclear Games is proud to share the latest details for its upcoming survival horror game The Florist. The world premiere of the “Gardens of Death” trailer is available now, showcasing new enemies, weapons and levels. The Florist is officially confirmed for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2, with final release information coming later in 2026.
The Florist tells the story of Jessica Park, who arrives in the lakeside town of Joycliffe to make a last-minute delivery. Her timing sparks disaster as the town quickly descends into a deadly fight for survival against omnipresent floral overgrowth. Solve ingenious puzzles, defeat horrifying enemies, and uncover a mysterious plan to create new life in the most inhuman way imaginable.
Trailer Details
In the Gardens of Death gameplay trailer, several secrets are hidden within the overgrowth. Jessica is seen fighting in close quarters with enemies known as Seeds, who are tragic victims of a deadly floral affliction. No longer alive, their bodies are controlled by organic growth which instinctually move to attack and draw nutrients from living organisms. Jessica can escape or deal enough physical damage using the Catclaw Revolver or Rosetta Shotgun. But firearms can only go so far against the enemies she has yet to encounter, and there are further hints in the trailer of unique weapons to cause rapid destruction of the deadliest flowers.
Who is The Harvester?
A hulking presence found in Joycliffe, The Harvester carries a bloodstained sack filled with unspeakable horrors, and is laser-focused on finding something years in the making. Jessica must stay one step ahead, unravel the mystery behind the outbreak, and put a stop to his mission in the garden of death. Unfortunately, The Harvester is far from the most dangerous enemy in The Florist. Unclear Games is an independent game development studio based in Wellington, New Zealand.
