It seems that before Resident Evil 2 is released next month for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC at least one of those platforms is going to get a demo that hearkens back to the original release of the game. True Achievements has located a “1-shot” demo on the Microsoft Store that is currently not accessible but does contain a description as follows:
“This specially tuned demo allows you to experience the newly reimagined Resident Evil 2, but be warned: whilst you can continue as many times as you like after dying, you’ll only have 30 MINUTES to complete the demo. Those who remember when the original Resident Evil 2 was released there was also a time limited demo released prior to the game’s full release. Alongside this found info a handful of new clips have also been released by Capcom and you can check those out below. As for the game itself, Resident Evil 2 will be released on the aforementioned platforms on January 25, 2019.

With Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition set to be released in a couple of weeks Bandai Namco has released a lengthy Japanese trailer showing off both the story of the game as well as the numerous systems that players will be able to experience while playing the game. Six characters from Fullmetal Alchemist will appear in Knights Chronicle: The protagonist brothers Edward and Alphonse Elric, State Alchemist Roy Mustang, Lieutenant Riza Hawkeye, Crown Prince Ling Yao and the villainous homunculus Lust. All of the characters in the game are voiced by the same voice actors from the animated series.
In celebration of the Fullmetal Alchemist collaboration, Knights Chronicle will include a seven day check-in event, which will reward players with SSR Edward and additional rewards for each day that they participate. Also, the Lust Advent Dungeon will reward players with four-star SSR Lust upon completion, as well as the Planetary Proxene, which can be exchanged for additional four-star Fullmetal Alchemist Tickets.
The Fullmetal Alchemist collaboration begins on December 21 and will continue until January 10, so players should act quickly to get in on the action!

NEW DiRT RALLY 2.0™ TRAILER SHOWS CLASSIC RALLY CARS THROUGH THE AGES
Larkspur, Calif. – Dec. 20, 2018 – Codemasters has today released the latest trailer for DiRT Rally 2.0. The new video, “Rally Through the Ages,” shows off some of the most iconic vehicles in rally history.
The Alpine Renault A110 1600 S rallying through New Zealand represents the best of the 1960s, while the Ford Escort Mk II takes center stage in Australia to showcase what the 1970s had to offer. The Audi Sport quattro S1 E2 racing through the tarmac streets of Spain epitomizes the Group B power of the 1980s, and New England provides the perfect autumnal backdrop for Colin McRae’s SUBARU Impreza 1995.
The trailer also shows a first look at DiRT Rally 2.0’s stage degradation feature in action. Stage degradation replicates the way surfaces evolve throughout the course of a rally event.
“If you start first on the road you’re going to suffer from a lot of loose gravel, which means you’ll struggle for traction – and that makes it hard to put in a flowing stage with a good stage time,” said Codemasters’ Rally Consultant Jon Armstrong. “The optimal run time is probably around 5th – 10th place because you get that loose surface swept off, but it’s not too rough that it ruins your car or your rhythm.”
“The further down the running order you are from there, the more the surface is going to plough and rut, so you need to adjust your driving style and even your vehicle setup to cope with the evolving track. Even though you can drive down the same stage a thousand times, these stages are going to present a different challenge every time.”
The official game of the FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy, DiRT Rally 2.0 will launch on the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X and Windows PC via Steam on Feb. 26, 2019. Players who pre-order the Deluxe Edition will have early access to the game on Feb. 22 and will also receive the first two seasons of post-release content once available.
