Today, 2K and Gearbox Software are proud to release Borderlands® 4’s Bounty Pack 1: How Rush Saved Mercenary Day. As a special holiday thank you to the amazing Borderlands 4 community, the pack will be available now for free to all Borderlands 4 players.*

Bounty Pack 1 Now Free
Players can now team up with Rush, the affable leader of the Outbounders, to take down the miserly Minister Screw and bring festive cheer to the people of Kairos. As a holiday-themed Bounty Pack, it was important that players receive it by the end of the year. However, with the continued efforts to improve the Borderlands 4 experience, the team ran out of time to stuff as much mayhem-fueled content into the Bounty Pack 1 stocking as originally planned.

So in the spirit of the season, and as a thank you to the community for their passion and support, 2K and Gearbox are excited to provide Bounty Pack 1, out now to all Borderlands 4 players for free!*

2K and Gearbox are hard at work on future Bounty Packs that will be bigger and fully loaded with the compelling content players have been asking for. Stay tuned!

Fifth Bounty Pack Added
In addition to making Bounty Pack 1 free, 2K and Gearbox will be adding a new, fifth Bounty Pack, meaning that players can look forward to even more mayhem on Kairos in the year ahead. Players who already purchased the Bounty Pack Bundle will have access to the new fifth Bounty Pack at no additional cost. Owners of the Deluxe Edition, Super Deluxe Edition, or Bounty Pack Bundle will still receive four paid Bounty Packs (Bounty Pack 2, 3, 4, & 5), and all players now receive the free Bounty Pack 1.* More details regarding the timing and contents of future Bounty Packs will be shared later.

Bounty Packs are paid post-launch content that bring new cosmetics, an expanded loot chase, and bite-sized-yet-flavourful narrative content to Kairos. They are designed for early to mid-game players who are looking to add additional cosmetic flair to their Vault Hunters, with missions you can play at any point during your levelling journey. Narrative content and the overall theme will vary depending on the Bounty Pack.  

Bounty Packs are just one part of a robust roadmap of post-launch content, which will also include two Story Packs**. Story Packs are Borderlands 4‘s most substantial paid post-launch content. They feature significant amounts of new cosmetics and gear, as well as a combination of new Vault Hunters, new zones, and new main and side missions.

Bounty Pack 1 Contents

In How Rush Saved Mercenary Day, Rush’s hopes for holiday merriment stand in direct opposition to the miserly Minister Screw, one of the Timekeeper’s underlings charged with keeping celebrations as bland and homogenous as possible. Across a series of all-new missions, players will show Screw the true meaning of Mercenary Day by any means necessary (and maybe score some new Legendary loot in the process).

Bounty Pack 1 includes a Vault Card with new rewards that players will earn through gameplay, with 24 cosmetic items to unlock and four pieces of rerollable gear. The rerollable gear can be earned as many times as players like, so it can be an opportunity to obtain a roll with stats that perfectly suit a specific build. Bounty Pack 1 is being granted to all players via the November 21 Update. Once you’ve updated, find and interact with the gift-wrapped present (marked on your map as a new mission) in any major hub, which will initiate the mission to assist Rush.

First Invincible Boss Coming Soon

For players looking for an extreme challenge, we’ll be releasing a challenging boss fight as a free update in mid-December. Bloomreaper the Invincible will provide challenging endgame content, putting skills and builds to the test in an all new arena. Each Invincible boss has a massive health pool, lethal attack damage, and new modifiers, making them the hardest content to date. Powerful new Legendaries serve as tantalising rewards for players bold enough to defeat these monstrous foes. As part of the update featuring Bloomreaper, the Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode cap will be raised an additional level.  

Additionally, the development team has started work on a fan-requested Takedown that will be included in a free update for all players in 2026. Much like the fan-favourite Takedowns in Borderlands 3, players can expect an extremely challenging gauntlet through a new area, including hordes of enemies and a challenging final boss. Additional information will be available in the future.

Looking Ahead

The first Story Pack for Borderlands 4 arrives in Q1 2026. Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned will feature the return of the indomitable fan-favourite Ellie alongside a cosmic horror theme with a bloodier, darker tone. Joining as a new playable Vault Hunter is C4SH, a former casino dealer bot with distinctly unpredictable Action Skills. Story Packs are Borderlands 4‘s most substantial paid post-launch content, including a brand-new Vault Hunter, multiple main missions and side missions set in a new zone of Kairos, new gear to earn, and a bunch of new cosmetics.

Competitive Play Comes To Battlefield! Watch Global Talent Compete in the Elite Series or Try Your Own Luck in the Open Series

November 20, 2025 – Today, Battlefield Studios announced the Battlefield REDSEC Elite Series, the pinnacle of Battlefield competition, showcasing the absolute best competitive Battlefield has to offer on the global stage. Launching on December 10, the Elite Series is designed to introduce more competitive play to the franchise while also giving the community a new way to rise through the ranks. The initial competition, which features a $1 million USD prize pool across three regional finals, will be held amongst 600 total competitors representing not only the best Battlefield players in the community, but also the top FPS talent in the world.

Each region’s 50 squads will compete in a unique competitive format: A series of six REDSEC Battle Royale matches, culminating in the top eight squads fighting head-to-head in a final showdown in the cutthroat, knockout-style elimination mode known as Gauntlet. This format is repeated over three Match Days, with squads earning Elite Series Points for their performance.

Twitch Drops will also be enabled on each match day, allowing viewers of the official EA stream or individual competitor streams to earn rewards.

Xbox Players Can Begin Exploring the Blue Hole Right Now, and Fans See More of the Finned Frenzy Awaiting them in the DLC Expansion coming in 2026

SEOUL – November 20th, 2025: The Blue Hole opens for the season today on Xbox as Mintrocket announces the official platform release of DAVE THE DIVER on Xbox One and Series X|S consoles. Included in the announcement is a first look at the upcoming ‘In the Jungle’ DLC gameplay, featuring a sneak peek of the new biomes, characters, and aquatic encounters.

PARIS – Nov. 20, 2025 – Complete your off-road journey in the Tatra Mountains as Expeditions: A MudRunner Game’s Season 4: “Amber Dusk” arrives today on PC and consoles. This newest season of premium content delivers two autumnal maps, new trucks and specialists for Year Pass Owners, as well as additional free content for all players.

Autumn awaits in Season 4: “Amber Dusk”

The new Tatra Mountainsregion adds two maps to the game: Cat’s Spine Ridge and Owl Lake Ridge. Traverse flooded valleys, venture deep underground, and discover remnants of ages past – from majestic basalt columns to ancient ziggurat ruins.

To explore this new region, Season 4: “Amber Dusk” introduces three new trucks:

• The Shiba Dart SR-V, a scout pick-up with legendary durability
• The G&S Caravan A1, a true jack of all (off-road) trades
• The ANK XM75, a heavily modified all-terrain champion

Two new specialists can also join your crew: a Manager, who can change airdrop content, and an Operator, who makes the installation of terrain-mounted objects possible with flying drones.

A new truck, gadgets and improvements for all players

In addition to the premium content, Season 4: “Amber Dusk” comes with free bonuses for all players, including a high-mobility amphibious truck: the TUZ 93 Kelpie. With this vehicle, water will no longer be a problem when trying to reach the most remote areas of the Carpathians.

Two new gadgets are also available for your loadout:

• The Portable Bridge, to cross over impassable obstacles with ease
• The Tow Rope, to quickly link multiple trucks and objects together

What’s next for Expeditions: A MudRunner Game?

As Year 1 of Expeditions: A MudRunner Game comes to an end, Season 4: “Amber Dusk” will be the final content update. Future hotfixes will focus on stability and critical bugs, but no new content will be added outside of mod.io player creations.
