SABER INTERACTIVE’S WORLD WAR Z UNVEILS POST-LAUNCH CONTENT ROADMAP FOR PLAYSTATION®4, XBOX ONE AND WINDOWS PC

New Tokyo Mission, Enemy Zombie Type, Six-Skull Difficulty Setting, Weekly Challenge Mode and More Arriving Soon

MAPLEWOOD, N.J.May 2, 2019 – Saber Interactive, in partnership with Focus Home Interactive, has announced the first phase in its post-launch content roadmap for World War Z, the action-packed co-op shooter inspired by Paramount Pictures’ blockbuster film. After celebrating more than 1 million units sold in its first week of launch on PlayStation®4, Xbox One and Windows PC via the Epic Games Store, the World War Z team is moving forward to deliver new gameplay, features and improvements to the game month to month.

In May, a brand-new mission set in Tokyo will drop alongside a terrifying zombie type that spits a deadly virus and can resurrect if not properly dispatched. June will bring a new six-skull difficulty setting with a unique reward, as well as bonus cosmetics and more. And in July, players can discover the new Weekly Challenge mode, plus additional cosmetics and other goodies.

Other major upgrades in development for further free updates include a wave-based survival mode, private lobbies, the ability to switch classes during PvPvZ matches, field of view (FOV) and level of detail sliders on PC, and more.

Powered by Saber’s dynamic Swarm Engine™, World War Z unleashes hundreds of fast-moving, bloodthirsty zombies – able to move and strike as one collective herd as well as break off into individual attackers – at a time on players. Choose from six distinct classes and an arsenal of deadly weapons, explosives, turrets and traps. Outlive the dead through intense four-player co-op campaign missions around the world, including New York, Jerusalem, Moscow and Tokyo, and battle both zombies and real human opponents in competitive, team-based Players vs. Players vs. Zombies (PvPvZ) multiplayer.

World War Z is currently available digitally and at most major retailers on PlayStation®4 and Xbox One for $39.99, as well as Windows PC via the Epic Games Store for $34.99. This game is rated M (Mature) by the ESRB. For more information, visit http://wwzgame.com, and follow the game on Facebook at www.facebook.com/WWZGame, Twitter @WWZTheGame, and Instagram @WWZGame.

Samurai Shodown Trailer Highlights Shiki

Continuing with their series of character trailers SNK has released a fourth new trailer for Samurai Shodown introducing the dual-blade wielding Shiki, first appearing back in Samurai Shodown 64 back in 1997, who uses her speed to quickly move around the battlefield and unleash devastating combos, acrobatic special moves, and a deceptively deadly looking finishing move.

The video can be found below and as for the game itself Samurai Shodown is currently set to be released in Japan on June 27th on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and then releasing sometime in June in North America and Europe with a Switch and PC version arriving sometime later this year.

Epic Games Buys Rocket League Developers Psyonix

Epic Games announced they will be purchasing Rocket League developers Psyonix. The deal is scheduled to be finalized in late May to early June 2019. Psyonix says having access to Epic’s financial resources will allow them to increase the game’s reach and improve the Esports ecosystem. The exact terms of the purchase was not announced.

The future of Rocket League on PC has been the subject of intense speculation since the announcement. Psyonix originally announced the purchase would result in Rocket League being added to the Epic Games Store in the coming months, triggering concern the game may soon become an Epic Games Store exclusive. Psyonix later clarified their announcement, saying they plan on continuing to sell Rocket League on Steam and will continue to support the game on Steam.

The announcement did not sooth angry fans though. Since the news that Rocket League will be coming to Epic Games Store was announced, fans have review bombed Rocket League on Steam, causing the overall reviews to drop from very positive to mixed within the last 24 hours.

The possibility of Rocket League being turned into an Epic Games Store exclusive has been a popular topic in the rumour mills. As it stands, the move would be a huge coup for Epic Games, giving them one of Steam’s top played titles. However, the move would introduce some logistical issues. Even if the Steam version of the game was eventually pulled off the store, Steam owners would require ongoing updates to maintain parity with Epic Games Store versions of Rocket League. A smaller issue and possibly more short term issue is Epic Games Store currently lacks an equivalent service to Steam Workshop, which would leave a variety of maps and mods in limbo.

One of the managers of Purgatory who collect the crystallized form of tears known as Idea. The creepy, unstable type.

Anamnesis (Laura Post)

About Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon

Launched in 2001 with critical acclaim from fans of the Tom Clancy’s world, the Ghost Recon franchise has since convinced 30 million players thanks to breakthrough releases and has become the best-selling Tom Clancy’s brand on the last generation of consoles and PC. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands brings the franchise to the next level with an episode designed from the ground up for a new generation, featuring a massive and visually stunning open world, playable for the first time online in four-player co-op.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is a work of fiction. Like similar Tom Clancy’s games from Ubisoft, the game takes place in a modern universe inspired by reality, but the characters, locationsand stories are created solely for entertainment purposes. One of the reasons Bolivia was chosen as the background of this game was due to its magnificent landscapes and rich culture. While the game’s premise imagines a different reality than the one that exists in Bolivia today, we do hope that the in-game world comes close to representing the country’s beautiful topography, and that players enjoy exploring the diverse and open landscapes it moved us to create. Any resemblance to actual events or any real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.
