Psychological Adventure, UN:Me Heads to Gamescom 2026 with a New Gameplay Trailer & Playable Demo

Shueisha Games and historia invite players and media to step inside the mind of a girl whose soul tells a different story every time, a story where only one soul can remain.

COLOGNE, GERMANY – August 25, 2026 | Publisher Shueisha Games and developer historia Inc. today announced that UN:Me, their psychological horror adventure, will be showcased at Gamescom 2026 (August 26-30, Koelnmesse, Cologne) with a new gameplay trailer & a hands-on playable demo on the show floor. UN:Me is currently in development for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2, with a release planned for 2026.

In UN:Me, a girl awakens inside an unsettling mental labyrinth with four human “souls” adrift within her, each dead, each with its own desires, each desperate and convinced that they are the real one. Any of them can seize control without warning, shifting not just her behaviour but the dangers she faces and the choices available to her. To escape, players must speak with each soul, confront the trauma that binds them, and face the question the game never lets you forget: Which soul will you erase so one can survive?

Only one can remain. The trouble is, every soul will say whatever it takes to remain.

A new UN:Me gameplay trailer will debut at Gamescom 2026 and will be available immediately afterward across Shueisha Games’ channels. The trailer offers an extended look at the labyrinth’s shifting environments, from an eerie hospital to an abandoned chapel, and shows the game’s signature mechanics in motion: souls seizing control mid-exploration, traumas warping the girl’s vision and senses, and the weight of choosing which self survives.

Playable Demo on the Show Floor

Attendees can experience UN:Me at Hall 10.2 E010G – D011G throughout the public days (August 26-30). The demo centers on a single unbroken sequence built around the game’s core loop:

  • Unpredictably Shifting Souls – the four souls take control regardless of the player’s intentions; each brings different skills, fears, and available actions, fostering a sense of “doubt” within the player when making a choice.
  • Traumas That Hunt You – the active soul’s wounds react during exploration, destabilising vision, senses, and movement.
  • Dialogue Mode – special items unlock direct conversation with individual souls, where memory fragments reveal different truths, cryptic hints, and reasons to doubt.
  • “Only One Can Remain” – players must weigh every conversation, every contradiction, and every gut feeling, knowing their choices are irreversible and the soul they are searching for may have already been lost.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Cost of Hope is Out Now

The first major expansion for Heart of Chornobyl is now available on PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.

KYIV, UKRAINE — August 20, 2026 – GSC Game World is pleased to share S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Cost of Hope launches today on PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.

Step into a new journey through the Zone — a massive nonlinear expansion offering dozens of hours of gameplay. Discover haunting stories, twisted characters, and the familiar atmosphere of decay… where even the darkest moments leave room for a flicker of hope.

It’s time to step into a new chapter of a well-known conflict. Duty, one of the Zone’s oldest factions, sees it as a threat that must be contained and ultimately destroyed. On the other side, Freedom believes it’s a gift — something to explore and harness for the greater good. For a time, this tension was held together by a fragile peace. But deals like that rarely last.

In Cost of Hope, players once again take on the role of Skif, the protagonist of the base game, as he navigates events unfolding alongside Heart of Chornobyl. Explore the iconic Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant and the maze-like paths of the Iron Forest — and discover new locations beyond your knowledge. New weapons and gear give Skif a fighting chance against mutants, anomalies, and other dangers lurking in the Zone.

“Throughout the Cost of Hope development, we allowed ourselves to experiment more. To take risks. To surprise. Sometimes that meant trying things we’d never attempted before. Sometimes it meant making bold creative decisions simply because we believed they would make the experience more memorable. Above all, we wanted to create something that would genuinely excite long-time fans of the series. We can’t wait to hear what you think,” said Ievgen Grygorovych, Game Director and CEO of GSC Game World.

“For us, the release of this DLC is proof that even in the most difficult times, Ukrainians continue to create, work and deliver great games, and even the full-scale war has not been able to put the development of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. universe on hold. We have done everything we could to bring this story to the world, because the game gives us a unique opportunity to reach millions of people around the globe and tell them about Ukraine: its strength, talent, culture, identity and resilience,” said Max Krippa, Owner of GSC Game World.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Cost of Hope is available as a part of the Ultimate Edition of the game or a standalone purchase for 29.99 USD/EUR (subject to regional pricing).

It upgrades the game to Unreal Engine 5.5.4, bringing the biggest overhaul to how the Zone looks, feels, and lives since launch. With the lighting overhaul, AI improvements, three types of binoculars, new weapons and attachments, highly customizable difficulty settings, and much more, the unique evolution of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 since its original release shines brighter than ever.

Strange Scaffold’s Truck-kun is Supporting Me From Another World?! Launches September 14 on Nintendo Switch 2

The absurdist anime driving game is coming to Nintendo Switch 2

El Paso, TX – August 19, 2026 – Developer Strange Scaffold (I Am Your Beast, CLICKOLDING, El Paso, Elsewhere) and publisher Frosty Pop today announce that Truck-kun is Supporting Me From Another World?! is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on September 14.

Originally released on Xbox Series X|S and Steam for PC on July 29, Truck-kun is Supporting Me From Another World?! is an absurdist driving game that combines capitalist satire and an isekai-inspired premise. It begins with Carissa, a young woman about to start her new corporate job, being struck by a truck and awakening in a fantasy world as a buff elf.

Players must help her fight ghoulish enemies and get home in the most efficient way possible: spectacular vehicular mayhem and iseka-ing helpful resources into her dimension. Hit pedestrians, break through billboards at full speed, make rushed deliveries, and smash cops into oblivion. Together, you’ll unlock the Galactic Gate, defeat the Skeleton King, and claim his legendary Scroll of Resurrection.

Truck-kun is Supporting Me from Another World?! SWITCH 2 REVEAL:

Truck-kun is Supporting Me From Another World?! is a humorous, OVA-sized spin on the “truck-kun” meme, a recurring anime and manga trope in which protagonists are transported to fantasy worlds after being hit by a truck. True to Strange Scaffold’s style, the game blends absurdist comedy with personal storytelling as its characters find unexpected connection and surmount impossible odds.

Key Features:

  • Dodge cops, make deliveries, and smash through objects in the chaotic small town of Wenvale, USA!
  • Complete objectives across two worlds to power up a Galactic Gate with stars and unlock a subversive, heartwarming story rooted in a love for anime and its absurdities.
  • Run over pedestrians to turn them into monsters Carissa can slay for stars and XP. It’s fine! Don’t worry! Stop thinking about it!!
  • Energetic, ska-inspired soundtrack by award-winning composer David Mason (Dredge, Creepy Redneck Dinosaur Mansion 3).
  • A giant, screaming man whose meat you can legally drive through.

PT-Inspired Psychological Horror ‘T.W.I.R.L.’ Launches Today on PC

What’s your deepest, darkest secret? I’ll tell you mine if you tell me yours…

LOS ANGELES — Aug. 20, 2026 — What’s your deepest, darkest secret? I’ll tell you mine if you tell me yours…again in T.W.I.R.L., the debut horror game from developer Genie Boy Games about growing up with a deep secret that must be protected for life. T.W.I.R.L. crawls out of bed today on PC, Mac, and Linux via Steam. PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch versions are planned to awaken at a later date.

Awakened at 3:00 AM each morning by an otherworldly pull drawing him out of bed, he is instructed to move through the dark, moonlit hallways of his childhood home. Creep out of the bedroom undetected. Walk down the corridor. Open the door. Now “T.W.I.R.L.” — whatever that means.

TELL NO ONE. Not a soul can know. Feel every trembling step forward with haptic controller feedback, exploring an oddly cozy house of horrors rendered through a nostalgic, retro lens. Wander through memories of a concealed adolescence in P.T.-inspired loops as introspection becomes a matter of youthful life or quiet death. Protect your secrets for as long as possible. If anyone were to find out…who knows what hell would come of it?

Follow the boy as he ages into his teenage years, bearing the unspeakable weight of his past. Experience introducing a family, their house, and the unspoken enigma hiding within a story-rich narrative. Witness an intimate group of characters whose personalities are brought to life by a talented team of first-time video game voice actors, including 14-year-old Alexander Roff as “The Boy,” Shannon Mindlin as “The Girlfriend,” Jerry Schultz as “The Priest,” Colleen Arnold as “The Mother,” and others.

“Of many things, T.W.I.R.L. is a challenge to look fear in the eye and see it for what it is: nothing,” said Ben Escobar, founder of Genie Boy Games. “Through our story about childhood secrets, the loss of innocence, and growing up in 2006, we hope that our game inspires you to embrace a rediscovery of self, and an acceptance of your lifelong fears.”

Hold on tight to the truth as T.W.I.R.L. launches today on PC, Mac, and Linux via Steam for $5.99, with a 15% launch discount. PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch versions will launch later this year. For more information, join the community on Discord, visit the official Genie Boy Games website, and follow the developer on Twitter and Instagram.
