Green Hell Recaps Updates ahead of September 5th Launch

Polish indie developers Creepy Jar announced Green Hell will be leaving Steam Early Access on September 5th. The game originally entered Steam Early Access on 29 August 2018. In the past year, the developers have released four major content drops and scores of smaller updates. The brand new trailer entitled “The Journey So Far” highlights the new content added.

The 1.0 release on September 5 will bring the highly anticipated Story Mode to the game. The story follows a man’s quest to rescue his lover Mia from the Amazon Rainforest. Additionally, new sections of the map, animals, and plants are being added to the game. On the technical side, more graphic options and difficulty settings will accompany the 1.0 launch.

2K and Gearbox released more information about the PC version of Borderlands 3. The minimum PC specs are set for 1080p, while the recommended specs will be necessary for 1440p. While AMD is the hardware partner for Borderlands 3, the equivalent Intel and Nvidia hardware has been listed.

The update features Weekly Challenge mode, a separate playlist with unique gameplay modifiers (e.g., “all weapons are replaced with crossbows” or “players take damage if they’re too close to each other”) designed to dramatically change your play style and keep the struggle against the undead dangerous and exciting each week.

“I’ve been a big fan of the Nintendo Switch since its inception, and felt like there was untapped potential for it to house serious political games,” said Unbound Creations founder and director Jakub Kasztalski. “I’ve always been interested in how media shapes people’s perceptions, which in turn shapes reality. What stories we deem newsworthy, and how we report on those stories, fundamentally changes our entire society. Headliner: NoviNews explores the trials and tribulations of trying to remain unbiased in an inherently biased world.”

Headliner: NoviNews recently won the “Best Overall Game” of Intel Buzz Seattle, 2018, was a finalist for Best Action & Adventure Game at the 2018 TIGA Awards, and it was part of the Official Selection at PAX West 2018’s Indie Megabooth and the same year’s Seattle Indies Expo.
