In the year 2199, the universe is at a fragile peace as factions of the Galactic Congress grapple to determine a future for humanity’s space colonies. Seeking to throw these groups into disarray, an underground terrorist sect called Tempest wreaks havoc across the universe. Lead a squad as Captain Christopher Pietham to thwart radical threats and Tempest’s secret plans.

Command Pietham’s squad in tactical turn-based battles across a 15-hour campaign, finding ideal positions to decimate foes in 24 hand-crafted stages complete with destructible cover. Characters aren’t locked into grids, so enemies can stray from cover. Use superior positioning and environmental hazards to gain an advantage and eliminate them from the battlefield.

Fight with more than 30 melee and ranged weapons and unlock new perks by building a reputation with various factions. Seize the power of the Sixth Vowel, a force created by the Movement of Light that allowed humanity’s cosmic expansion to happen. Utilize its abilities to manipulate sound, light, and matter, or wield its fearsome energy against enemies.

A nuanced ideological system tracks narrative decisions and battle actions, affecting relations with characters in both Pietham’s squad and the outside world. Not only does this impact which characters become playable, it also triggers different narrative branches.

After rigorous competition across all four of the game’s desolate battlefields, 24 teams outshined the rest to secure their place in the Semifinals.

New Video Brings Adventurers Up to Speed on New Hero Abilities, Bone-Chilling Beasts

Walnut Creek, Calif. – Oct. 1, 2019 – Indie publisher Modus Games today shared an in-depth look at next week’s Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince, detailing expanded hero abilities, otherworldly baddies, and series firsts that players will discover when the adventure begins on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One on Oct. 8.

Trine’s cunning thief Zoya, brave knight Pontius, and wise wizard Amadeus will each master new tricks as they reunite for Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince’s engrossing tale: Zoya will add elemental arrows to her quiver and levitating capabilities to her versatile rope; Pontius’ trusty blade will pack a shocking charge while his shield enables dream-like replicas of itself; and Amadeus will learn new conjurations plus a teleport-esque blink ability. These powerful discoveries and more are on full display in today’s trailer, which can be seen.

Players are free to tailor their journey through Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince to their liking through each hero’s distinctive skill trees. The game’s puzzles change depending on how many players are in a party, too; go it alone for total control and on-the-fly hero swapping, enjoy the series’ classic three-player design, or take on chaotic fun in the series’ first four-player multiplayer mode, where any combination of duplicate heroes is fair game.

Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince will arrive as a standalone experience, but thorough adventurers can experience this charming fantasy universe’s full story by picking it up via the Trine Ultimate Collection, which includes Trine Enhanced Edition, Trine 2: Complete Story, and Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power.

The free-to-play title will be available as a digital download via the PlayStation Store.

Whether by land or by space, Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2 features fan favorite Mobile Suits for pilots to strap into and lay waste to their foes. Players will fight for survival in intense 6v6 online team battles with players all around the world. Infantry battles in Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2 add a new dimension to the in-game combat, giving pilots the ability to take part in the fight alongside mechas, placing bombs in enemy bases or requesting support fire to help decide the outcome of the battle. Additionally, customizable Mobile Suits offer players the opportunity to enhance their favorite mecha through Development Points earned in battle.
