Massive free update adds new submarine, traitor missions, monsters, character customisation options, radically overhauled AI behaviour and over 100 quality of life improvements

HAMBURG, Germany – 22nd November, 2019: Publisher Daedalic Entertainment and independent studios FakeFish and Undertow Games are pleased to announce that the unique sci-fi submarine simulator Barotrauma has received its second major update, suitably titled ‘The Beasts Within’.

Barotrauma (priced at $29.99/£21.49 GBP/€24.99) sends up to 16 players on an underwater journey in a range of submarines beneath the surface of Jupiter’s moon Europa. It’s there they’ll discover alien wonders and/or horrors, command various submarine systems, and fight to survive dangers from both outside and within.

‘The Beasts Within’ update comes to the celebrated early access survival game for no extra cost and features not only a raft of quality of life features but new content:

·  New Character Customisation Options: 30 new character sprites, including new hair, beard and accessory options to give fans more ways to make their crew feel visually unique.

·  New Kastrull Submarine: The Kastrull is a dependable attack submarine that brings plenty of firepower to any fight. Sporting an experimental open ballast tank, low tolerance to flooding, and numerous crew stations, a large, experienced crew will get the most out of these subs.

·  New Traitor Missions: The ability for players to secretly work against their teammates to manufacture their underwater demise is one of the most popular ways to play Barotrauma online. This update adds five bonus traitor missions, with more varied objectives than before.

·  New Hammerhead Monster Species: This new alien species will pose a challenge even for Barotrauma veterans. The tiny Spawn variants aren’t a danger on their own, but in numbers they can easily overwhelm even a well prepared crew. Their Matriarch, on the other hand, is strong, angry and, in true sci-fi tradition, can punch a hole in your hull just for funsies.

This new content is also accompanied by an improved server browser, radically overhauled bot AI logic to make it easier to tackle missions on your own in single-player, and over 100 quality of life improvements and bug fixes.

Cross-Platform Play and Ranked Battles Arrive in World of Warships: Legends 

Cross-Platform Play, Ranked Battles, Black Friday, and New Maps! 

November 22 – A new update for World of Warships: Legends is coming on November 25 with Cross-Platform Play, Ranked Battles, and Black Friday Events. This update is packed with player-driven content ranging from UI improvements to entire new maps. The update will also be an important milestone for World of Warships: Legends and Wargaming thanks to the introduction of Cross-Platform Play—a first for Wargaming’s console titles. 

“Making sure that our players have the best experience possible is our biggest goal, so I’m excited that both sets of fans will be able to enjoy World of Warships: Legends together,” states Victor Kislyi, Wargaming CEO. “This is just the first step in our cross-play efforts; it’s definitely something we want to build on in the future.” 

With Cross-Platform Play, or Cross-Play, commanders can battle with or against any other player in World of Warships: Legends regardless if they are on Xbox One or PlayStation 4. Legends is the first Wargaming title to implement cross-platform functionality, joining the growing list of games that are including this feature. In World of Warships: Legends, Cross-Play will reduce matchmaking times on both consoles, while the game-play experience will remain the same. At the moment, the feature only works in the matchmaker—players cannot interact between the consoles in regards to voice-chat or playing with friends on a different console. Cross-Play is a huge step for Wargaming console titles and they are working on making it fully functional. 

The November update also comes with a new mode—Ranked Battles! Ranked Battles provide players new opportunities for even more intense and competitive battles. By adding substantial rewards for participating in the Ranked sprints, every match has an impact. It’s sink or swim in these sprints, make it to the top for the best loot! There are two sprints of Ranked Battles announced—the first one will feature Tier V ships; the second will feature Tier IV ships. These competitive battles will test the skill of players, from preparing their ships and commanders to destroying their enemies. 

All this in time for Black Friday! World of Warships: Legends will have an epic sale and some exclusive deals to celebrate. Notably, there will be three “Black Edition” ships on sale for a discounted price compared to their regular counterparts. The three ships are the Warspite B, Scharnhorst B, and the Atlanta B. The Atlanta was the reward for completing the first season in World of Warships: Legends and this will be the first time that she will be available after the full release of the game. These “Black Edition” ships have a sleek, jet-black skin that make them stand out on the high seas.  

Apart from these major additions, there are also a number of player-driven changes. Notably, a filter in the port to help players organize their ships and a set of new maps.

THE CYCLE’S NEWEST UPDATE ADDS STORY MISSIONS, VISUAL UPGRADES & MORE!

Try the competitive quest shooter’s new upcoming map before anyone else in this Friday’s public playtest

BERLIN – Nov. 21, 2019 – YAGER has released a new content update for The Cycle, the hit free-to-play competitive quest shooter. The major highlight is the introduction of story missions, a new contract type (in solo mode only) where players can learn more about the game’s lore and unlock exclusive rewards.

In addition, the update adds a new feature — the Navigator — which lets players get information about nearby objectives more easily without having to open the map. The patch also includes multiple visual effect enhancements, especially for monsters and the storm, as well as a variety of weapon and ability balance changes, performance upgrades, quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes.

You can get a firsthand taste of The Cycle’s new Map 2 (part of the upcoming second season of content, expected early 2020) in the public playtest this Friday, November 22, from 5-11 PM CET/8 AM – 2 PM PST. Map 2 is significantly more vertical and diverse, with four unique biomes (forest, farmland, rocky plains and desert), plus a town center with bars and a giant spaceship. Players who participate and complete a survey can also pick up an exclusive in-game banner.

The Cycle is a match-based first-person shooter with a focus on PvEvP action: complete jobs, defeat hostile lifeforms, gear up with new weapons and powers, out-score other prospectors, and make it off the planet alive before it kills you. The Cycle delivers a competitive multiplayer experience where everyone can survive, but how you stake your claim can make all the difference. Form squads with friends, make uneasy alliances with strangers, or go it alone — the choice is yours!

Hertfordshire, 21^st November 2019 – Today, KOEI TECMO Europe and developer GUST Studios revealed five new playable characters and further details of the intense magic battle systems in their upcoming JRPG, FAIRY TAIL, available Spring 2020 on Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, and Windows PC via Steam®. Based on the anime and manga of the same name by Hiro Mashima, players will be able to follow the series’ enchanting storyline from the popular Tenrou Island arc through to the Tartaros arc, along with all-new original episodes.

FAIRY TAIL will see Natsu and the team fight against a variety of foes in their quest to become the No. 1 guild in Fiore. Battle parties consist of up to five mages, allowing fan-favourite characters to combine together to perform impressive magical attacks displayed across a three-by-three battlefield grid. Each move deals a certain amount of damage across the tiles – choosing appropriate attacks can ensure a swift victory over troublesome enemies. By dealing damage, players will fill up the ‘Fairy Gauge’. This special ‘Magic Chain’ attack allows each party member to deal a combo of attacks before unleashing a powerful finisher – sometimes strong characters, like the beloved Guild Leader Makarov, may even jump in to deal devastating damage with their ‘Extreme Magic’.

When the ally party comes under heavy damage and are in a pinch, characters can awaken dormant abilities for a few turns, drastically increasing their powers. Some mages even have access to whole new attacks – Dragon Slayers can use ‘Dragon Force’ instead of their ‘Awakened’ abilities, while some mages can perform a ‘Mode Change’ offering a wealth of new battle options. Natsu’s renowned ‘Lightning Fire Dragon’s Iron Fist’ is an example of the enhanced abilities that can be performed. Some mages are even able to unite together to perform mighty combination attacks, known as a ‘Unison Raid’, triggering a special ‘Unison Raid’ cutscene right before unleashing the incredible attack against oncoming foes.

To assist in battle, GUST Studios announced five new playable characters joining the fray — not from FAIRY TAIL but from rival guilds in Fiore. New characters include the ‘Sky God Slayer’ Sherria Blendy from Lamia Scale, the ‘Strongest Fencer’ Kagura Mikazuchi from Mermaid Heel, the ‘Handsome’ Blue Pegasus mage Ichiya Vandalay Kotobuki, and the ‘White Dragon’ Sting Eucliffe and ‘Shadow Dragon’ Rogue Cheney from Sabertooth. These exciting new additions to the cast join the previously announced Natsu Dragneel, Lucy Heartfilia, Gray Fullbuster, Erza Scarlet, Wendy Marvell, Gajeel Redfox and Juvia Lockser – all battle-ready with powerful magic abilities.
