PQube has announced plans to release Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon? Infinite Combate in the West sometime next year where it will be released digitally and physically for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe as well as digitally on PC.
Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon? Infinite Combate, also known simply as DanMachi Infinite Combate, is a Mages developed dungeon RPG that follows the story of the original light novel and anime series. It is set in a fantasy realm where gods have limited their divine powers in search of excitement and to experience the hardships of the lower world. To interact with humans, each deity has founded a Familia, which are groups that adventurers can join to socialize and support each other, before they set out into the dangerous labyrinth called Dungeon.
One of them is Bell Cranel, the young main character of DanMachi‘s story. As the only follower of the Hestia Familia, he has it a bit harder than the others, but strives to improve himself. The game will feature a mixture of visual novel segments and dungeon crawling RPG gameplay that will cover the events of the first anime season as well as new story content.
While Square Enix may have been trying to keep things under wraps for a bit longer, an unlisted trailer from their official Kingdom Hearts account has posted, and since removed, a trailer revealing when players can expect the first piece of DLC for Kingdom Hearts III to be released. The trailer, possibly found below if it hasn’t been removed again, shows off plenty of cinematics including the re-appearance of the missing Final Fantasy characters.
ReMIND is described by Square Enix as being the other tale that unfolded during the climax of Kingdom Hearts III. Determined to rescue Kairi, Sora travels to the Keyblade Graveyard a short time before the final battle was to take place. Lacking a corporeal form, he traces the hearts of the seven guardians of light. Through experiencing their personal battles firsthand, Sora is about to discover truths that he has never before imagined.
The trailer also lists that the DLC will be launching on the PlayStation 4 first on January 23, 2020 and then a month later for the Xbox One on February 25, 2020, likely meaning that the official unveil is happening at the Sony exclusive “State of Play” next week.
Idea Factory International has revealed some new screenshots and character details for three new characters that will be able to join Quinn’s party in Arc of Alchemist when the game releases on January 30, 2020 in North America for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The characters introduced this time around are named Axel, Micah, and Rune.
Axel Delion has an adoration of Quinn, he dotes upon her excessively, much to his own detriment. However, his skill as a knight is unparalleled and he’s attained several victories in battle exercises. Micah Schneider is a knight who supports Vice-Captain Axel. Previously, she had served as his squire. She is one of the team’s most competent members, recognized for her common sense. She also takes on the role of admonishing Axel when he gets out of hand. In secret, she harbors feelings for Axel, but the path is steep.
Finally we have Rune Fontine who is part of the military clergy. She is in charge of treating injured troops hurt by the perilous journey. She is skilled at sewing and cooking, and is known by all for her kindness. Her patience allows her to talk down even the self-willed Sandra. Micah refers to her calming ability as a “maternal power”, from which Rune takes great pride.
XSEED Games is continuing their series of character introduction trailers for Granblue Fantasy: Versus and the one getting the focus this time around Ladiva, also known as the Herald of Love. Like any classic fighting game, there are characters that specialize in close up fighting and grappling and that just so happens to be the niche that Ladiva fits into as she can break her opponents’ guards with throw attacks and even perform a follow-ups after she uses “Love Grapple.”
You can check out the trailer below and keep an eye out for Granblue Fantasy: Versus when it is released for the PlayStation 4 in Japan on February 6, 2020 and sometime in Q1 2020 in the West.
Atlus has continued their series of character introduction trailers for Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers and this time around the company is focusing on Yusuke Kitagawa, better known simply as Fox of the Phantom Thieves, leaving only a small portion left to be introduced.
The video, found below, shows off various in-game cinematics before continuing on and showing off what Yusuke is capable of while fighting against the numerous Shadows that players will need to beat down in this Warriors style game. Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers is currently set to be released in Japan on February 20, 2020 for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch with no current Western release announced.
Capturing and raising a team of creatures to do battle has long been a popular pastime in video games and while one certain developer has been the focus, that hasn’t stopped a number of other games from trying and the newest one on the way happens to be called Temtem. Developed by Crema and published by Humble Bundle, Temtem will be released on PC through Steam Early Access on January 21, 2020 though the company is planning on releasing the game fully on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC sometime in the future.
What sets Temtem apart a bit from other creature-collection style games is that it is an MMO styled experience where players can team up with others on their journey as a Temtem tamer and explore six islands challenging “Dojo Leaders” in a bid to become the ultimate trainer but a sinister group calling themselves Clan Belsoto have their own plans for the world and players will need to also face off against them.
To go along with this announcement a trailer going over many of the gameplay elements has been released and you can check it out below.
After announcing the localization back in July PQube has announced that they now have a set release date for Studio Namaapa’s daughter raising sim Ciel Fledge. The company is planning on releasing the game digitally on the Nintendo Switch and PC on February 21, 2020 and to go along with the video the company released a bit of a walkthrough trailer that shows off how players can raise their charge.
This includes things like customizing her outfits and interacting with her at the player’s home on ARK-3, setting up a schedule for both yourself and your daughter for the week, and even the various encounters that players can trigger. Check out the video below to get a glimpse at most of these systems.
