Toplitz Productions to Publish Masterbrain Bytes Farming Sims  — Cattle and Crops for PC and Console.

Irdning, Austria (January 20, 2020) — Austrian publisher Toplitz Productions announced today that it is expanding its portfolio of life simulation games with the addition of studio Masterbrain Bytes’ farming title — Cattle and Crops which is currently in Early Access for PC, with a later launch planned on consoles. Cattle and Crops aims to provide a realistic agricultural simulation, including features such as dynamic weather (which influences growing cycles), soil conditions, real-world farming equipment, and much more. The goal of the game is not only to provide a fun simulation of life on the farm, but also teach the player about agriculture.

“Cattle and Crops will deliver a veritable cornucopia of farming features that should please fans of simulations and especially agricultural simulations,” said Stefan Berger, Head of Business Development & Sales, Toplitz Productions. “We are very excited to add the game to our portfolio and are pleased to partner with Masterbrain Bytes to help them finish it.”

“Our goal was to find a publisher that would understand and share our vision of a farming simulation and can support us in the development process,” said Lars Beinsen, Managing Director of Masterbrain Bytes. “With Toplitz, we have found this partner at every level. We are very much looking forward to the cooperation and the new possibilities that this partnership will bring to the project in the future.”

German agricultural publishing house, Landwirtschaftsverlag, has also entered into the publishing partnership for Cattle and Crops. Landwirtschaftsverlag will provide consulting services for the game, helping Masterbyte Brains bring an authentic realism to the game, while also assisting in marketing Cattle and Crops.

“Working together with developer Masterbrain Bytes and publisher Toplitz Productions, we believe our expertise will ensure Cattle and Crops is an incredibly realistic farming simulation,” said Malte Schwerdtfeger, Managing Director of the Landwirtschaftsverlag.

In Cattle and Crops, players experience how exciting life in the country can be, especially when working the land with heavy-duty farming equipment! But it’s not all fun and games as farming is a serious business, so aspiring agri-giants will need to maximize their farm’s output by balancing growing cycles with marketplace needs, all while handling day to day tasks like caring for livestock and maintaining equipment! In the game, a wide variety of aspects of agricultural life are portrayed, including detailed machinery, authentic sowing, fertilizing and harvesting, complex livestock farming, and even realistic weather and natural conditions. Cattle and Crops will not only appeal to casual gamers but will also delight simulator enthusiasts.

Kingpin: Reloaded Revealed, Criminal Warfare Arrives on Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in 2020

Kingpin: Reloaded Revealed, Criminal Warfare Arrives on Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in 2020

AALBORG, Denmark — January 17, 2020 — Kingpin: Reloaded, the remastered, enhanced version of the crime-themed first-person shooter developed and published by 3D Realms and Interplay, recruits new gang members on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC later this year.

In a stylized noir art deco gangland that never was, the Kingpin rules above all else with a bloody fist. When his lieutenant Nikki Blanco leaves a no-name Thug battered and broken, the upstart criminal rises from a puddle of blood, lead pipe in hand and revenge in mind.

Kingpin: Reloaded brings new life to the Quake II engine classic. 4K resolution, ultrawide support, and improved graphics in Enhanced mode enable the beautifully-depicted metropolitan nightmare shine. Controller support makes the game more accessible for anyone who wants to explore the depths of Kingpin’s depravity. Overall improvements like new quest and conversation systems make Reloaded even better than the original.

Stalk lamp-lit streets and take down rival gangs to let the Kingpin know his end is nigh. Kingpin’s immersive sim elements allow the Thug to recruit other gangsters with a conversation system. Increase the Thug’s influence through multiple hub-based missions. Run with the gang on a violent warpath with upgradeable weapons including Tommy guns, bazookas, and more. Location-based damage leads to bloody, thrilling battles: kneecap, maim, or go for the head.

If that sounds too extreme, try No Violence mode. However, the “colorful” language proudly used by Kingpin’s gangsters remains. Lean even further into the era and start fragging in Gang Bang mode’s old-school multiplayer.

Kingpin: Reloaded will debut at PAX South this weekend at the 3D Realms booth.

Kingpin doesn’t get the recognition it deserves, due to unfortunately releasing in an era when games were blamed for societal problems,” said Frederik Schreiber, founder of 3D Realms. “We have the privilege of giving it a second chance for people who never heard of it, and sprucing it up for diehard fans yearning to go back to a life of (simulated!) crime.”

Kingpin: Reloaded will be available in English on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in 2020. For more information, please visit the official Kingpin: Reloaded website and check out the official Twitter, Facebook, and Discord.
