The Blue Hole is soon getting a visitor from the other side. Coming Early 2027.

SEOUL (October 8, 2026) – Today, Mintrocket pulled the curtain back on its final DLC pack for DAVE THE DIVER – Subnautica 2 Content Pack, a DLC developed with cooperation from Unknown Worlds Entertainment. Coming in early 2027, the free expansion will see players explore the unfamiliar ocean moon of Proteus, filled with unfamiliar creatures and valuable resources waiting to be discovered.

The upcoming Subnautica 2 Content Pack creates a confluence of mysterious waters unlike anything before, with Dave and Bancho traveling interdimensionally to make new discoveries, unlock strange and exotic recipes, and lend a hand to new friends in need—all while facing periodic confrontations with Subnautica 2’s signature creature, the massive Leviathan.

“For our final DLC expansion, we wanted to create something that felt especially meaningful, and a Subnautica collaboration is what players have been asking us about for a long time,” said Jaeho Hwang, Mintrocket Studio Director. “Both games are set underwater, but Subnautica has such a distinct approach to underwater exploration, so working with the Subnautica 2 team gave us a chance to bring a new wave to Dave the Diver experience. We’re really excited for players to see what we’ve been working on, and we hope this collaboration gives them one more fresh and surprising adventure with Dave and his friends, old and new.”

“We’re so excited to collaborate with the team at Mintrocket. It’s clear that we both adore one another’s games a lot, and the expansion is a love letter to both Dave the Diver and the Subnautica universe. People are in for a treat,” said Anthony Gallegos, Creative Director of Subnautica 2.

Time to Head Back Behind Bars: The Escapists 3 Announced for PC and Consoles

The iconic team17 franchise is back, bigger than ever and now fully 3D! Plus, there are more prisons to explore, more weapons to craft and steal, and more completely ridiculous ways to escape (did somebody mention a pogo stick?)

Thursday, 8th October, 2026 – team17 have today announced prison sandbox The Escapists 3, the sequel to the award-winning prison escape franchise. Coming to PC and consoles in 2027, and revealed for the very first time during the Triple-I Initiative Showcase, The Escapists 3 brings back everything players know and love about the iconic series, with even more prisons to explore, weapons to loot and craft, and ridiculous ways to escape.

Escaping from prison is no mean feat and inmates will need to craft, sneak, fight, and improvise their way through five distinct prisons as they plan their perfect escape…and then execute a much less perfect one when it all goes wrong. With more than 120 new weapons to steal and craft, guard rotations to observe and learn, and systems waiting to be exploited for maximum gain, there is no single solution for each escape, just good plans, bad plans, and the occasional plan involving molten chocolate.

Don’t Forget to Make Roll Call:

The Escapists 3 also offers players the ability to break out of prison with their pals, utilising each other’s strengths and weaknesses to pull off the perfect escape (or perfectly hilarious failure) – with two players in local split screen, and up to four online. And, new to The Escapists 3, inmates will gain XP as they play, unlocking new skills and gameplay options to enable them to specialise into specific areas of escape that carry over to each prison.

Harley Homewood, General Manager, team17, said: “The Escapists, as a series, has aptly been both a breakout and runaway success for team17. As such, I’m delighted that we’re offering players the chance to become institutionalised once more, but this time in fully realised, 3D correctional facilities. It’s a fresh perspective on a fan favourite, and today’s announcement is just a sneak peek of what’s to come.”

The Escapists 3 Key Features:

  • Escape Your Way: Every prison is a system waiting to be understood, exploited and very badly outsmarted.
  • Turn Rubbish into Freedom: Search cells, trade with inmates and complete jobs to get your hands on supplies.
  • Five Prisons: Break out of five distinctive prisons, each with its own routines, characters, and secrets.
  • Make Your Inmate Your Own: Earn XP as you play, unlock new skills and tailor your inmate to your style of escape.
  • Better with Accomplices: Try and escape solo or team up with friends. Play with two players in local split-screen, or take your escape online with up to four.

About the Game

Key Features

  • Survive on a ruined generation ship full of peril, from starvation to shipquakes to highly-evolved botanical horrors
  • Craft, scavenge, and repurpose tools, clothing, weapons and the finest tech that 1970s Earth had to offer
  • Construct shelters and bases in the abandoned chambers of the Pergola; decorate with looted furniture, or craft your own
  • Customize your character’s lineage, backstory, traits and appearance
  • Face new challenges on each run as the hand-authored ship map is modified with randomized overgrowth and decay
  • Work together to survive alongside friends in optional co-op multiplayer at launch
  • Make the game yours with full mod support at launch

Survive the Pergola

A civilization in a bottle, the starship Pergola carried everything its crew would need for a generations-long voyage: living quarters, hospitals, bars, libraries, reactors, farms, factories, and so much more, now all gone to seed.

Pick your way through ruined halls and corridors in your hunt for resources. Craft and scavenge what you need to survive. Make use of all technology at your disposal, restoring power to doors using computer terminals or fashioning weapons from metal shards and plant stems. Defend yourself against the ship’s horrors new and old: hazardous materials, collapsing structures, broken airlocks, and the over-evolved descendants of its original plant life.

With each attempt, the details of the ship change. The undergrowth spreads differently, doors break or open, medkits are spoiled or water pipes cease to function. Even as your knowledge of the Pergola grows, each run presents a new set of challenges.

Make this your home

There’s more to life than just staying alive. In addition to hunger, thirst, and shelter needs, you must balance your comfort and happiness. Build a home wherever you can: an abandoned air duct, an office supply closet, or a leafy hovel by a reactor cooling pool. Furnish your dwelling with cozy furniture and decorate it with strange artifacts to boost your morale.

Those who came before

In the late 20th century, the brutality of capitalism reached its zenith. Amidst popular uprisings and military expansions, a cadre of artists, scientists, and controversial financiers in the autonomous San Francisco Bay founded the Acorn Starship Collective. Visionaries to some, gutless cowards to others, the ASC launched the Pergola towards an exoplanet with speculated life-sustaining capability, a dozen generations away.

You know nothing of this. Your eyes have never seen these long dead founders, and your feet have never known the soil of Earth. Your world is one of cold steel bulkheads, winding jungle corridors, and the groan of unfamiliar machinery. You are alone. What happened to this place?

Face the jungle together

Explore and survive with friends in co-op-focused PvPvE multiplayer, either peer-to-peer or with player-hosted servers. Band together to tackle dangerous expeditions, spread the load of base management, or interfere with your friends’ attempts at survival. Even playing solo, you’re bound to encounter unlikely interspecies allies amongst the Pergola’s jungles…

Shape the world

Our game director originates from the modding community of Project Zomboid, which has inspired us to center customization and player agency in this new title. The full game includes Dandelion Void’s custom map editor and its robust Lua API.

Create and modify maps, import custom clothing and weapons, or dream up whole new Lua-scripted scenarios and biomes. Dandelion Void is a game made by modders, for modders.

Play Your Cards Right, Or Face The Guillotine – Narrative Deck Builder Lazare’s Sacrifice Announced for PC.

Designed in collaboration with Damien Monnier (Gwent: The Witcher Card Game), Lazare’s Sacrifice asks players just how much they are willing to sacrifice to win their freedom.

Thursday, 8th October 2026 – Developer Dream Reality Interactive and publisher Curve Games have today announced narrative-driven deck builder Lazare’s Sacrifice for PC. Launching Spring 2027, Lazare’s Sacrifice sees players locked up in Carmes Prison during the French Revolution where the streets of Paris run with blood. The currency is sacrifice, and the only way out is to win a deadly game of cards, with failure guaranteeing a one way trip to the guillotine. The game intricately weaves strategic card-battling mechanics with a thrilling narrative exploration mode.

Forgotten and left to rot in an 18th century prison, players will step into the shoes of Lazare Hoche, who must battle a collection of twisted historical figures from the French Revolution, each desperate for escape, one way or another. Every opponent has their own playstyle to overcome and their own secrets to uncover – if they play their cards right, and keep their neck from the chopping block.

What Are You Willing to Sacrifice?

Co-designed by Gwent (The Witcher Card Game) creator Damien Monnier, Lazare’s Sacrifice is a deck builder where victory commands a heavy price. To summon powerful forces to the board, players must actively surrender their own resources. By sacrificing their cards, giving up vital board slots, or bleeding their own health, players can unleash devastating moves that grow in power the more they surrender. Yet miscalculate the risk, and they will forfeit their lives.

Dave Ranyard, CEO, Dream Reality Interactive Said: “With Lazare’s Sacrifice, our aim was to create a game where every strategic choice has a weight to it. In key moments, progress requires brutal trade-offs. We wanted to bring players the intrigue of retelling this iconic moment in history through the eyes of forgotten legends like Lazare, who sacrificed everything for the dream of forging a new France. We’re looking forward to sharing more on the game in the coming months, and are delighted to have Curve on board as our publishing partner.”

Rich Keen, VP Publishing, Curve Games, said: “Lazare’s Sacrifice takes a familiar genre, and gives it a darkly compelling twist in a setting seldom seen in video games – we’re incredibly excited to be working with the team to bring the game to players in Spring 2027.”

Lazare’s Sacrifice Key Features:

  • Crafted in collaboration with Damien Monnier, creator of the original Gwent and Gwent: The Witcher Card Game.
  • A Revolutionary Thriller: Play as the betrayed General Lazare Hoche in this bloody retelling of the French Revolution.
  • Unravel the Mystery: Confront historical characters as you explore Carmes Prison. Allies, or traitors in the conspiracy behind your imprisonment?
  • Upgrade Your Deck: Master four distinct factions, scavenge for hidden cards and outsmart fellow inmates to build the ultimate strategy.
  • Choose Your Gambit: Sacrifice cards, board slots, or your health to increase your chances of escaping the guillotine’s blade.
  • Game Modes: Uncover Lazare’s truth in the narrative Story Mode, or test your tactical mastery in a custom-deck gauntlet in Tower Mode.

Lamezia Terme, Italy – 8 October 2026. What if the reward for exploring a game wasn’t defeating what stands in your way, but simply learning how to fly?

That is the idea at the heart of STONEFEATHER, the new indie adventure from ACGames, and today players can experience it for themselves as the game’s free playable demo goes live on Steam as part of Unmistakable Festival, running from 8–12 October.

The demo will also feature in the Birds of Play Digital Showcase, taking place from 10–16 October, giving players another opportunity to discover STONEFEATHER and experience its distinctive approach to exploration.

A new gameplay trailer accompanies today’s demo launch, offering a closer look at the opening moments of the adventure.

LEARN TO FLY

There are no enemies to defeat in STONEFEATHER. No weapons. No combat encounters. Instead, the demo puts players in the air and asks them to learn.

Set entirely within the Plains, the game’s first large region, the demo introduces STONEFEATHER‘s physics-based flight controls before opening up the world for players to explore at their own pace.

Ancient ruins, hidden areas and optional secrets are scattered throughout the landscape, while the first core ability, Wind Boost, gives players a new way to harness the environment and move more quickly across the Plains.

The result is an adventure built around movement, curiosity and discovery rather than combat.

AWAKEN THE WIND

The Plains are also home to a series of animal-spirit challenges, including Butterflies hidden among the ruins and Foxes waiting to be discovered.

Completing these activities helps restore energy to the world and gradually awakens the wind, while meeting the Elder begins to reveal the mystery behind its disappearance.

The demo takes around 30 minutes to complete, although players who choose to explore more thoroughly can spend longer uncovering its optional secrets.

YOUR FIRST FLIGHT AWAITS

The STONEFEATHER demo offers the first chance to experience a world where flight isn’t simply a way of getting around; it is the adventure itself.

STONEFEATHER is available to wishlist now on Steam. The free demo is available during Unmistakable Festival (8–12 October) and the Birds of Play Digital Showcase (10–16 October).
