Mafia: Definitive Edition will now release worldwide on September 25. Though we’d originally planned to release the game one month earlier on August 28, finalizing everything in time for that launch date has become increasingly challenging due to the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic, and the last thing we want to do is compromise the quality of the experience.

From the beginning, this has been a passion project for us. Many of our developers helped create the original Mafia, and all of us are committed to crafting an updated experience worthy of that timeless classic. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make Mafia: Definitive Edition the very best it can be for all of our fans worldwide.

MILAN – 8 July, 2020 – Milky Way Prince – The Vampire Star, a visual novel from publisher Santa Ragione and developer Lorenzo Redaelli about intimacy, idealization, and abusive relationships, descends from the heavens on 13 August, 2020 for Windows PC and Mac.

One day, while following the trail of a shooting star, Nuki happens upon Sune, a brooding young man who closely resembles the hero from his favorite childhood storybook. The meet-cute soon develops into an intense and passionate affair. However, it is one marred by dysfunction.

Each encounter between Nuki and Sune provides new insight into the pair’s histories and will ultimately determine the fate of their tumultuous relationship. Explore Nuki’s five senses during the couple’s intimate moments, focusing in on sensations that will open up new dialogue options and guide the story down branching paths toward a multitude of possible outcomes.

As Nuki learns more about Sune and the psychological demons that draw a stark contrast between his boyfriend and the man of his dreams, he must contend with his own issues, such as idealization, boundaries, submission, and his sense of self-worth. A semi-autobiographical story inspired by the life of sole creator Lorenzo Redaelli, Milky Way Prince — The Vampire Star aims to deliver a realistic portrayal of romance complicated by mental illness.

11 bit studios Publishing Division Adds New Project as Company Announces Increased Level of Investment Across All Departments

Warsaw, Poland – July 7th, 2020 — 11 bit studios announced some interesting numbers alongside a new milestone in the growth of its publishing division at its recent yearly company investors conference. After having the second-best quarter in terms of revenue in its history (Q1 2020), 11 bit is taking a huge step in raising its level of investment into both internally developed titles and into its publishing division. Hot on the heels of that comes the announcement of signing a new project to be developed by the cooperating teams of Chibig (Summer in Mara) and Inverge (Effie), with both studios based in Valencia, Spain.

The new project — codenamed Ava — becomes the fourth title in development under the 11 bit studios publishing banner, along with Project Vitriol (Polish developer Fool’s Theory), and both Project Botin and Project Foxhole (in development by Digital Sun Games from Spain). The total sum of investment into these projects is around 25M PLN (~$6.3 million USD). 11 bit studios is also in the midst of development on three of their own games (codenamed Project 8, Eleanor, and Dolly) with the budget of all three closing at 60M PLN (~$15.1 million USD). In total, seven new games are being forged in the 11 bit studios ecosystem with a complete investment sum at 85M PLN (~$21.4 million USD). On top of that, the Frostpunk team is getting close to the release of the game’s final expansion, On The Edge, and it is planned to hit PC stores this summer.

The World’s Best VALORANT Competitors Will Race to Plant the Spike in a New Tournament Starting July 22, as part of the first VALORANT Ignition Series

SEATTLE — 7 July 2020 — PAX, the high traffic event series in North America and Australia celebrating all things gaming, teams up with Riot Games to host the PAX Arena VALORANT Invitational Powered By Seagate from 22 – 26 July, as part of Riot’s first Ignition Series of tournaments for their new hit title.

This marquee summer showdown for 5v5 character-based tactical shooter VALORANT joins the rich tradition of PAX Arena esports events. Sponsored and co-organized by Riot Games with promotional support from Seagate as the Title Sponsor, the PAX Arena VALORANT Invitational will bring together 20 teams—including 16 pro organizations and four influencer squads—to throw downfor their share of a $25,000 prize pool, starting Wednesday, 22 July at 2:00 pm PT.

Eight teams will advance to the single-elimination quarter-finals on Friday, and four teams will compete in the semifinals on Saturday. From there, the remaining top teams will fight to reach Sunday’s best-of-five Finals and take home the winning prize of $10,000. 

Starting 2:00 pm PT on Wednesday and Thursday, viewers can tune in for the tactical engagements streamed from the participants’ individual channels. PAX Arena on Twitch takes over on Friday at Noon PT with host WTFMoses and casters Goldenboy, Gaskin, Puckett, and Pansy, with Saturday and Sunday’s action kicking off at 2:00 pm PT. The event will also co-stream from Riot’s official VALORANT Twitch channel.

The champion team of the PAX Arena Invitational will take home $10,000, with shares of the prize pool going to the top eight teams. Viewers can look forward to S-tier competition from the world’s best VALORANT competitors, player interviews throughout the series, and giveaways of Seagate’s critically acclaimed gaming hard drives and solid-state drives.

The 0.19.0 update delivers the mobile exclusive new map Livik with new gear, vehicles, fresh gameplay, events and more.

Los Angeles – July 7, 2020 – For the first time ever PUBG MOBILE is presenting an all-new battle royale map that is exclusive to the mobile version. The Livik new map boasts stunning never-before-seen battlegrounds set to the theme of the gorgeous Nordic scenery, and is just one part of today’s huge 0.19.0 content update, which is available to download for free on iOS and Android.

At the size of merely two-by-two kilometers, Livik is primed for epic 52-player showdowns, providing a fast-paced action-packed gameplay with around 15 minutes per match. Livik introduces map-exclusive gear and vehicles, such as the P90 sub-machinegun, Mk12 marksman rifle and Monster Truck vehicle. The map is still in its Beta stage, and will continually be updated to improve the gaming experience.

Today’s massive 0.19.0 content update delivers a wave of fresh additions such as:

Bonfire Mode Gameplay

Players who queue for Erangel and Miramar have the chance to experience this new game type, where three unique items can be found around the maps. Small Statues can be burned to earn supplies and special event items. Secondly, Giant Statues has multiple construction stages, which changes as the event progresses. It burns in the final stage. Finally, Statue Camps will be set up around Statues, and supplies can be found inside the tents.

Livik Firearm Special Training Event

During the event period, players can discover Experimental Trial Weapon Crates around Livik, which contain special weapons. In addition to modified names, icons and finishes, special weapons offer slightly stronger attributes than normal weapons, which can provide essential advantages on the battlefield.

Cheer Park

The popular social area where up to 20 players can interact in real time has been improved with new features, including trenches in the Shooting Range, added launchers to hot air balloons, fresh Bubble Emotes and more. Players can also go head-to-head in the new firearm-specific quick draw duel and participate in the Elite Challenge to practice marksmanship.

Additional features are also part of the 0.19.0 update:

  • New Arena Attachment – Players can new equip the new Barrel Extender muzzle attachment to most sniper rifles, rifles and SMGs. The attachment increases the firearm’s range and reduces damage reduction due to distance
  • Season Warmup Event – At the end of Season 13, players can enlist in four-person teams in Classic Mode to complete missions and earn several Season 14 ranking points
  • Basic Combat Balances – Several improvements have been made to the Pick Up tab, Combat Operation settings, Parachuting Gauge display and more
  • Miscellaneous Improvements – System features, Radio messages, Vouchers, the Guncraft system, firearm attachment finish features, download speeds, Achievements and Achievement Rankings, Clan classification, Ace Badge features, Settings features and Brothers in Arms have all been adjusted, balanced and improved.

Following this massive update, more information will be released soon about upcoming PUBG MOBILE Ancient Secret Special Mode, Team Gun Game and Royale Pass Season 14.

Luca Boller named FIFA Museum ambassador – cultural programme shines a light on eFootball

Luca Boller has been named the new ambassador of the FIFA World Football Museum. Boller, who is captain of the first ever Swiss national eFootball team and who also plays eSports for FC Basel, will officially take on the role on 16 July 2020, at the opening of the new section of the permanent exhibition entitled “The Virtual Pitch” at Enge station in Zurich.

Virtual football is increasing in popularity around the world, and it has also firmly established itself in Switzerland as a genuine part of footballing culture. In additional to the new section of the permanent exhibition, the FIFA World Football Museum is unveiling a six-month festival in the form of an interactive experience area as well as a cultural programme on the phenomenon of eFootball, which Luca Boller will be presenting as ambassador and as an expert in that particular field.

There will be various attractions on offer for young and old as part of the festival and cultural programme, which runs until 3 January 2021. Visitors to the experience area will have free access to all sorts of gaming pods where they can play virtually against one another, as well as trying out old versions of “FIFA” and even take part in tournaments. There will also be a whole host of activities featuring Boller, ranging from free training sessions to “Beat the Pro” events and podium discussions.

Lively focal point for the Swiss eFootball scene

“We are delighted to have secured the services of Luca Boller as the official ambassador for our festival to celebrate the new ‘The Virtual Pitch’ section of the permanent exhibition in Zurich,” said Museum director Marco Fazzone. “He is currently one of the biggest names in eSport in Switzerland and has built himself a reputation as a first-class gamer but also as a nice, genuine person who comes across well. We can hardly wait to get to work with Luca on shedding new light on the globally expanding cultural phenomenon of eFootball via our exhibition, and celebrating that in our experience area by means of a varied cultural programme.”

SAN FRANCISCO – July 7, 2020 – Today, Ubisoft announced that The Crew® 2 Summer In Hollywood, the sixth free update brought to Ubisoft’s open world motorsports game, The Crew® 2, will be available tomorrow, July 8, on PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X, Windows PC and Stadia.

The Crew® 2 Summer In Hollywood will introduce a total of 24 new vehicles, available for all players to earn or purchase, including some of the most iconic vehicles in Hollywood history, such as the Koenigsegg One:1 2014 (Hypercar), the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S 2020 (Street Race), or the DeLorean DMC-12 1981 (Street Race).

Players can compete with these vehicles in the weekly LIVE Summits to race to the top of the leaderboards. Once a month, challengers will have the opportunity to take part in a Premium LIVE Summit that will reward the best competitors with a unique, special edition vehicle. Through new Special-themed Events, players will have the chance to immerse themselves in their favorite Hollywood memories and experience events that pay tribute to some of the most famous universes ever created.

With new skills, foes, corruption, enchantments, status effects and a whole lot more, The Soroboreans is packed to the brim with exciting, fresh challenging content. Outward players will need more than just a sense of adventure to conquer these lands.
