The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope Shows Off Seven Minutes of Gameplay

A couple of weeks ago Bandai Namco announced that Supermassive Games‘ next entry in the The Dark Pictures Anthology, Little Hope, would not be making its initial release window and would instead be releasing sometime this fall and now to tide fans of the horror games over, the company has also released nearly eight minutes of gameplay footage.

The video featuring the gameplay can be found below and as for the story itself, The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope is set in the isolated and abandoned town of Little Hope where four college students and their professor find themselves trapped and pursued by nightmarish apparitions.

Ar nosurge DX and Ciel nosurge DX Revealed

In a fairly surprising turn of events, Koei Tecmo and Gust have announced that they are planning on bringing some life back to the Surge Concerto series as the company has revealed that they will be releasing Ciel nosurge: Requiem for a Lost Star DX and Ar nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star DX sometime in the future for yet to be revealed consoles.

It is worth noting that while Ar nosurge was released in the West, the first game Ciel nosurge was not and remained a Japanese exclusive on the PS Vita mostly due to its online features making for a possibly interesting future for these enhanced releases. DayZ Update 1.08 is Now Live On All Platforms With New Upgrades and Weapon

Update 1.08 is out now adding new rifle, base building and destruction improvements, long-range aim adjustments and more

PRAGUE, Czech Republic – June 30, 2020 – Bohemia Interactive announces today the official release of update 1.08 for DayZ on all platforms which brings important fixes and exciting new elements to the game’s post-apocalyptic world.

Among other features, the update adds a new hunting rifle: the “Sporter 22”. The rifle uses .22 ammunition (added to the game via the 1.05 update last year), comes with various magazines, and has the ability to mount a hunting scope. And speaking of long-range engagements, the Sway and Hold Breath mechanics have been adjusted, which should make distance shooting a bit easier. 

New base building improvements focus on the balance-of-destruction of various structures, such as fences, watchtowers, and tent objects, including the addition of the Canopy Tent, Indoor Fireplace (oven), and Direct Cooking Slots (fireplace grill for meat). Additionally, the update comprises general gameplay tweaks, bug fixes, and UX improvements.

Finally, 1.08 will bring an updated Saint Roman Ski Resort, Biathlon shooting range, and a race track to the ChernarusPlus terrain.
