The Critically Acclaimed Game Is Free To Access To All Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Premium Subscribers

January 21, 2026 – KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS and 505 Games are proud to announce that DEATH STRANDING DIRECTORS CUT, the definitive version of Hideo Kojima’s Genre-Defying Epic, is now available for Xbox Game Pass across PC and console, only for subscribers on the Xbox Game Pass Premium and Ultimate tiers.

In DEATH STRANDING DIRECTOR’S CUT, take on the role of Sam Bridges as he embarks on a mission to deliver hope to humanity by connecting the last survivors of a decimated America. Guide Sam and reconnect a fractured society after a cataclysmic event known as the ‘Death Stranding’ opens the veil between the worlds of the living and the dead, leading to grotesque creatures from the afterlife roaming the fallen world.

DEATH STRANDING DIRECTOR’S CUT is the definitive experience which also introduces a new ‘Ruined Factory’ location, a treacherous underground compound packed with fresh dangers. Sam also now has a wealth of new delivery assists, from cargo catapults and ramps, to a stabiliser which features thrusters that assist with cargo weight shifts and reduce the impact of landing when jumping from high areas. Melee combat has been amped up with the addition of more moves including a drop kick, whilst the new Maser Gun can stun enemies and short-circuit vehicles temporarily with electricity. Finding the perfect weapon loadout is now achievable thanks to the new firing range location, whilst the new Racetrack enables players to race and compete in time-attack competitions against other players who are connected online. Protagonist Sam Bridges can even ride Buddy Bots to traverse the wastelands with greater ease.

The ground-breaking experience from legendary game creator Hideo Kojima, DEATH STRANDING DIRECTOR’S CUT also features the acting and voice talents led by a star-studded cast including Norman Reedus as Sam Bridges, Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux, Margaret Qualley, and Lindsay Wagner.

The Xbox version of DEATH STRANDING DIRECTOR’S CUT has also recently received an update to optimise the game for handhelds, so owners of the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally devices will also be able to play the game on the go!

EXPERIENCE THE EMOTIONAL CONCLUSION OF THE MAX AND CHLOE SAGA IN LIFE IS STRANGE: REUNION

The Latest Game in the Acclaimed LIFE IS STRANGE Series Launches on March 26, 2026

SYDNEY (Jan. 21, 2026) – Since the original LIFE IS STRANGE nearly 11 years ago, iconic characters Max Caulfield and Chloe Price have been through a literal whirlwind of friendship, love, heartbreak and loss. Now, in a once-thought-impossible return, the two will finally reunite in the upcoming full-length adventure, LIFE IS STRANGE: REUNION, which SQUARE ENIX announced today during a livestream. Developed by Deck Nine Games, LIFE IS STRANGE: REUNION will launch on March 26, 2026, for PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam® and Microsoft Store on Windows.

For those who missed it, the LIFE IS STRANGE: REUNION announcement livestream can be viewed here: Life is Strange: Reunion Reveal Livestream

In LIFE IS STRANGE: REUNION, players will once again visit Caledon University, where Max Caulfield works as a photography teacher. Returning from a weekend away, Max finds her beloved Caledon ablaze, as a raging inferno destroys the hallowed grounds and ends the lives of Max’s friends, students and faculty alike. Max only escapes the devastation due to her Rewind power – returning from the original LIFE IS STRANGE – a supernatural ability that lets her reverse time.

Jumping back in time through a selfie, Max now has just three days to work out how the fire began. Can she make the most of her second chance to prevent this fiery disaster?

That’s when Chloe Price arrives at Caledon, much to Max’s surprise: a shocking repercussion of Max’s merging of the timelines at the end of LIFE IS STRANGE: DOUBLE EXPOSURE. Haunted by nightmares of a past she never lived, and with her grip on reality unravelling, Chloe needs Max’s help.

For the very first time in the series, players can play as both Max and Chloe in the same game, alternating between their different perspectives as the story unfolds.

Players will use Max’s Rewind power to undo and redo decisions, change the course of conversations and manipulate the environment to solve four-dimensional puzzles, and use Chloe’s Backtalk ability, quick wits, and take-no-prisoners attitude to sway key suspects – and go where Max can’t.

This game builds on all the character-led, grounded storytelling for which the LIFE IS STRANGE series is known, with meaningful choices that affect the outcome of a dramatic and surprising narrative – all culminating in an epic climax that serves as a finale to the Max and Chloe saga.

Escape an Otherworldly Imprisonment in Platformer LOVE ETERNAL, Coming to PC and Consoles Feb. 19

LOS ANGELES – Jan. 20, 2026 – LOVE ETERNAL, the unconventional horror platformer about escaping the domain of a selfish god from developer brlka and publisher Ysbryd Games (WORLD OF HORROR, VA-11 Hall-A, Demonschool), navigates a surreal dimensionon PlayStation 5|4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026.

A mundane family dinner becomes a waking nightmare for teenager Maya. One minute, she’s dealing with her frustrating parents; the next, the dinner table’s empty, the house destroyed, and the remaining husk has been spirited away into a cavernous, eerie alternate dimension. Escape the echoing chambers of a decaying fortress, avoiding deadly traps and altering gravitational forces, and confront the powerful deity who kidnapped Maya.

Dash through the crumbling chambers of a labyrinthine castle filled with puzzle-like challenges, leaping, flipping, and strategically landing out of danger’s way. Plan your jump arcs to ensure Maya smashes through floating stones that trigger her ability to flip gravity in midair, which is essential for you to maintain careful control of Maya’s momentum. Avoid razor-sharp spikes, shifting lasers, and other deadly obstacles in precision platforming trials.

Behold the liminal spaces of a desolate, ancient landscape, littered with towering statues and rotting structures illuminated by blinding spotlights across its many biomes, from dank, dripping caverns to underwater grottos. Encounter other wandering victims abducted by the callous god, and brave meetings with eerie visions of Maya’s loved ones, now transformed into horrifying aberrations.

“We wanted to explore the subtler aspects of psychological horror with LOVE ETERNAL, and tried to imbue every scene and environment with a sense of unease that was unmistakable, but impossible to put your finger on,” said Toby Alden, designer at brlka. “Everyone who’s tried the game so far has felt it, and we’re really excited for players to experience how uniquely unnerving it is.”

LOVE ETERNAL will bend gravity on PlayStation 5|4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026, for USD $9.99. It will offer English, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Spanish, and Russian language support.

Free League’s Nordic Fantasy RPG Dragonbane: TrudvangKickstarter Launches on February 17

The iconic world of deep forests and endless mystery returns to its roots as a stand-alone RPG based on the award-winning Dragonbane

Stockholm, Sweden (January 20, 2025) | Today, Free League Publishing announced that the Kickstarter campaign for Dragonbane: Trudvang, a stand-alone tabletop role-playing game based on the multiple award-winning Dragonbane RPG, will launch on February 17.

Trudvang brings players into a mist-shrouded realm of ancient gods, monstrous creatures, and unsung heroes. Deeply rooted in Nordic mythology, the game blends mythic brutality with haunting beauty, offering a rich setting that is both timeless and fiercely original.

Prospective backers can sign up now to be notified and not miss out on the early backer bonus: a deluxe art print featuring stunning new cover art by legendary fantasy artist Paul Bonner.

Check out the Dragonbane: Trudvangpre-launch page on Kickstarter here.

A Complete Stand-Alone RPG with Full Dragonbane Compatibility

Produced by Free League under license from CMON, Dragonbane: Trudvang includes complete rules and is fully compatible with the Dragonbane core game, allowing groups to seamlessly integrate content between systems.

The Kickstarter campaign offers four masterfully illustrated hardback volumes, available in both English and Swedish, in standard editions or limited Collector’s editions:

  • Core Rules: Complete Dragonbane-based rules tailored for Trudvang, including new kins, professions, skills, heroic abilities, and magic wielded by vitner weavers and dimwalkers

  • The Black Sun: A legendary four-part epic campaign, revised and published in English for the first time

A World with Deep Roots and Legendary Creators

Originally created in the early 2000s by Theodore Bergqvist and Magnus Malmberg of Riotminds as a campaign setting for the Swedish edition of Dragonbane (Drakar och Demoner), Trudvang later evolved into the standalone Trudvang Chronicles RPG and the board game Trudvang Legends by CMON.

Artwork for Dragonbane: Trudvang draws from over two decades of iconic Trudvang illustrations, including work by Paul Bonner and Álvaro Tapia. Bonner has also created the striking new cover art for the Dragonbane: Trudvang World Book, while acclaimed illustrator Francesca Baerald created an all-new map of Trudvang.

The writing, editing, and adaptation of this new edition is led by veteran RPG writer Magnus Seter (Cyberpunk 2020,Mutant Chronicles,Forbidden Lands, Dragonbane), who also worked on Trudvang during its early days.

“When we heard that Free League had licensed Trudvang from CMON, and that Magnus Seter would be leading the work on this new edition, we were naturally delighted. Most of all because the world gets to live on — but also because Trudvang has, in many ways, found its way home again,” says Theodore Bergqvist, the co-creator of Trudvang.
