NBA 2K21 Current-Gen Demo Now Available

2K today released the NBA 2K21 current-generation demo for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. This year’s demo includes four playable teams. Tap into your Mamba mentality with Kobe Bryant and the All-Time Lakers, experience greatness with the iconic Bill Russell and the All-Time Celtics or dominate the court through Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kawhi Leonard with NBA title contenders Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Clippers.

The NBA 2K21 demo offers ballers an opportunity to try out some of the latest gameplay innovations that are detailed in the Current-Gen Gameplay Courtside Report. From major innovations to the Pro Stick to a redesigned shooting system, NBA 2K21 features plenty of new upgrades, improvements and changes that bring the series to a new level.

Additionally, the demo heralds the return of the ever popular MyPLAYER Builder. Select your position, set your attributes and get a first look at what type of builds will be able in NBA 2K21.There’s plenty of new things to check out, including the new addition of oversized 6’8 point guards, and your created build carries over from the demo into the full game when it launches on Sept. 4, enabling you to jump in right away. Whether you want to slash to the basket like Russell Westbrook, create space and nail jumpers like Jayson Tatum or command the court from the high post like Nikola Jokić, everything is game in NBA 2K21.

Lastly, due to the delay in the start of the 2020-21 NBA season, NBA 2K is taking a new approach to the player ratings reveal for NBA 2K21. This year, NBA 2K will update player ratings upon the release of NBA 2K21 for next-generation consoles, following the completion of the 2019-20 NBA season, to ensure the ratings are reflective of the player’s performance this season. At that time, all updated NBA player ratings will be implemented across NBA 2K21 for current- and next-gen consoles.

Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. has today revealed the final cover for the Standard Edition of eFootball PES 2021 SEASON UPDATE, launching in physical and digital stores on September 15th.

For the first time in video game history, the cover will feature two of football’s greatest legends; FC Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo. Continuing eFootball PES’ legacy of championing young elite talent, the cover also features Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford and FC Bayern’s Alphonso Davies.

Now his sixth cover appearance for the eFootball PES franchise, Messi represents the highest quality of football, consistently achieved, over a storied career and is appropriate as KONAMI celebrates the franchise’s 25th anniversary.

An experience like no other, Yakuza: Like a Dragon brings dynamic RPG gameplay to the streets of Yokohama, Japan, with an adventure that combines the intense brawls that the Yakuza series has been known for, with the strategic depths, party customisation, and massive variety of skills that you’d expect from a classic RPG.

In less than 2 minutes, the new “How Will You Rise?” trailer takes players on a journey through the streets of Yokohama, Japan, the new setting for Yakuza: Like a Dragon. In the video, we see Ichiban Kasuga, the first main new protagonist in the history of the mainline Yakuza series, alongside some of his loyal party members, Nanba, Saeko, and Adachi, as they swap between just a few of the 20+ unique Jobs available throughout the game. In what can only be described as a meta worldview, Ichiban envisions himself the lead character in an RPG and his ensuing skirmishes take on the form of turn-based battles. If you’ve ever wanted to don a chef’s hat and sprinkle enemies with a dash of pepper to finish them off in style, we’re happy to say that no game other than Yakuza: Like a Dragon will offer you that experience.

D&D Celebration will focus on the D&D community and host the biggest virtual tabletop game ever

Tuesday 25 August, 2020 — Wizards of the Coast today announced D&D Celebration, a three day virtual event focusing on the fans and community of the world’s original and best roleplaying game. From Saturday 19 September to Monday 21 September, fans can gather to enjoy live panels, streamed live gameplay, and participate in the biggest virtual tabletop game ever. In addition, players will preview new content from Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything, a massive rules update featuring a wealth of new content for players to customise their games.

More than a thousand concurrent players will take part in the largest virtual D&D game ever on Saturday 19 September (PT) | Sunday 20 September (AEST), to celebrate the launch of Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden. The game will be administered by the D&D Adventurers League with players from separate games all working towards the same goal to defend Icewind Dale.

Wizards of the Coast will announce the event’s schedule and list of global participants in the coming weeks. Local ANZ participants include:

Players can sign up to participate in the largest virtual D&D game ever through the D&D Adventurers League here. All proceeds from tickets for D&D Adventurers League play will go to support Extra Life benefiting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in the US.

D&D Celebration will be the first opportunity to learn more about Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything which will bring a bevy of new classes, feats, spells, items, puzzles and more to the game. This will be the biggest rules update to D&D since Xanathar’s Guide to Everything’srelease nearly three years ago.

“The special witchcraft of Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything is the freedom it gives you to personalise your D&D character in new ways,” said Jeremy Crawford, the book’s lead designer and the principal rules designer of Dungeons & Dragons. “D&D adventurers are exceptional,and this book gives you the tools to make them and their story even more extraordinary.”

Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything is further testament to the dedication of the D&D community as it incorporates over a year of playtest feedback from thousands of community members. Following nearly three years’ success as one of the most popular mobile games in the world, PUBG MOBILE will launch 1.0 version on September 8th with new tech, new UX, new gameplay features and more to deliver the most realistic tactical tournament experience on mobile. PMGC Season Zero will begin in late November and invites pro teams from all regions including Americas, Europe, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Middle East, China, to compete for the highest prize pool of $2M USD in PUBG MOBILE esports history, and to be crowned the inaugural PUBG MOBILE Global Champions. To bring players a more concise and intuitive control experience, PUBG MOBILE’s user interface and interactive experiences have also been completely overhauled, with interactions, visuals, motions and sound effects quality improved. Due to the global pandemic, an onsite audience may not be possible for PMGC Season Zero, but if it is safe to do so, the League will begin in late November, taking place across multiple studios.

This year PUBG MOBILE completed the structure for its global year-long esports program. The program now supports players of all levels from amateur to semi-pro and pro across multiple countries and regions ensuring a clear path to become esports stardom. At the base for every player such as National and Campus championships and various 3rd party events held in many countries, there will be more coming in more countries. For semi-pro players, the PUBG MOBILE Club Open (PMCO) features this year 16 regions with over 150 countries.
