The Heist Challenge

To help get ready for the upcoming release of the next evolution in Heist gameplay, the GTA Online community has the chance to take down a special kind of score.

Play any Heist Finale over the next 7 days to collectively steal GTA$100 Billion as a community. Any Heist Finale take will count towards the total – from The Fleeca Job to The Data Breaches to The Diamond Casino Heist.

Should everyone come together and hit the target by November 18th, we’ll reward the entire community at large with a special new vehicle, free of charge for a limited time this December. All participants who partake in this week’s Heist challenge will receive an additional bonus – a special badge of honor for their efforts. Assemble your crew, plan your operations and keep an eye out for updates.

To help players get their boots in the door, we’re waiving 75% of the cost of Casino Heist Setup Fees, now through November 18th. There are also rumors of the potential for a shipment of diamonds to be found in the Casino vault.

Impeller is also partnering with Alienware to host a 100,000 beta key giveaway for the upcoming hardcore space combat sim. Aspiring pilots can head to Alienware’s giveaway page to experience In The Black’s realism-focused battles through a variety of single-player and multiplayer modes, or simply hone their piloting skills in FreeFlight mode.

In The Black’s first public beta introduces new content with today’s release of the Reus-class medium fighter, an updated Hyperion-class heavy fighter, improved AI for NPC fighter support, and new functionality in the cockpit displays, including a missile cam to enhance reconnaissance and provide a cinematic view of long distance kills. There is also a major update to the powerful ShipFrame Editor for customizing your ship’s loadout and appearance. All of these features can be tested now through 4v4 battles against other players or bots. Los Angeles – Nov 12, 2020 – One month ago world-renowned K-pop group BLACKPINK took PUBG MOBILE by storm with an unprecedented in-game collaboration, leading up to the release of the group’s latest record “The Album.” As announced by PUBG MOBILE’s official channel, more “FUN” is adding to the collaboration as BLACKPINK members are joining a “FUN MATCH” Gameplay Show to play PUBG MOBILE. A PAIR OF TAIKO NO TATSUJIN: RHYTHMIC ADVENTURE PACK TRAILERS SHOWCASE TIME-HOPPING, BEAT-BOPPING ADVENTURES

TAIKO NO TATSUJIN: RHYTHMIC ADVENTURE PACK, combines and delivers two never-released-in-the-West Taiko no Tatsujin titles (TAIKO NO TATSUJIN: RHYTHMIC ADVENTURE 1 & 2) to players on the Nintendo Switch in the Americas on December 3, 2020. The game will be available digitally. Both titles will also be sold separately on digital formats.

To celebrate the upcoming launch of the game, BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. has released a pair of trailers, each showcasing one of the two titles packed within TAIKO NO TATSUJIN: RHYTHMIC ADVENTURE PACK. The first trailer for TAIKO NO TATSUJIN: RHYTHMIC ADVENTURE 1 shows off the adventures of the protagonist taiko drum Don-chan as he helps Ticky and Tocky in a time-travelling adventure to save the world from villains set to destroy history.

The second trailer showcases TAIKO NO TATSUJIN: RHYTHMIC ADVENTURE 2 and Don-chan’s new adventure to help Tia and Popo Kaka retrieve priceless artifacts stolen by the Sorcery Society Hexaglia in a quest that spans the entire world and features a diverse cast of friends and foes.

Featuring two separate RPG adventures with more than 130 songs and 250 different monsters, bosses and enemy drums, TAIKO NO TATSUJIN: RHYTHMIC ADVENTURE PACK packs more content than you can shake a (drum)stick at. Players will travel through various periods of history and into the future to recruit vanquished enemies to join their adventure as they take on even mightier foes. In addition to the original content of TAIKO NO TATSUJIN: RHYTHMIC ADVENTURE 1 & 2, the ADVENTURE PACK will include an additional 6 songs (3 for each of the two titles), giving gamers even more tunes to enjoy.

The India Game Developers Conference 2020 goes Virtual, with free access to all events

Hyderabad, India, 12th, November 2020: The 12th Edition of India Game Developer Conference (IGDC) runs online from November 17th to 20th, 2020. A unique “for the industry, by the industry” event driven entirely by volunteers from across the Indian games industry and with active support from companies in the ecosystem, IGDC 2020 will be held online across 4 virtual rooms, from 3pm (IST) onwards each day. For Western attendees the IGDC 2020, is the perfect opportunity to learn more about the rapidly growing Indian games market and connect with local developers and publishers. 

The 12th edition of IGDC is the first edition of the conference to be virtual and streamed online and has attracted a strong line-up of over 100 speakers across 8 major tracks, 50  exhibitors on the e-expo floor and the popular Investor-Publisher Connect with  30+ investors and publishers. For 2020 the IGDC is free to everyone thanks to strong industry support, with Unreal Engine/Epic games as presenting sponsors, alongside MPL, Facebook, Google, Unity, Hyper Hippo, Gametion, Nazara, Lakshya and Yesgnome.

The Art track has a workshop on character creation by Naresh Das (Art Director at EiTri Studio), and a VFX talk by Daniel Santalla. The Tech track features talks by Shawn Beck (Unity) and Jason Davis (Backtrace). The Applied Games track features talks by Tsahi Liberman (Simpool) and Michelle Lee-Schmidt (IDEO). The Biz track features William Hughes (Tilting Point) and Craig Chapple (Sensor Tower). Other speakers include Jon Hook (Boombit) talking about publishing deals, Neale Hemrajani (Annapurna Interactive) and well-known indie developer Rami Ismail. 

IGDC will also host its popular IGDC Investor-Publisher Connect 2020, which will be a virtual invite-only forum for investors and publishers to meet with companies bringing unprecedented innovation in the Indian gaming ecosystem, which has grown rapidly in the last year. Over 30 investors and publishers have signed up for the event.

This year, the highly anticipated BYOG (Build Your Own Game) game jam that is held alongside IGDC was also held virtually, receiving 87 finished entries by the deadline, which was three times more than in 2019. The number of participants also increased by about 50%, jumping from 200 in 2019 to 313 in 2020.

IGDC is India’s primary game industry conference and is the ‘must-attend’ event that draws people from across the games ecosystem in India and abroad. The conference continues to play a key role in developing the Indian Gaming ecosystem: from helping developers and industry aspirants gain valuable insights and meet with industry veterans and indie developers, to helping developers connect with publishers and investors that they otherwise may not have had access to.
