Nostalgia gets a contemporary spin in the retro-inspired, 2D pixel art fighter

Torrance, Calif. — May 20, 2021 — Aksys Games announced today that Blazing Strike, the 2D fighting game from developer RareBreed Makes Games, is coming to consoles and PC in spring 2022. Inspired by classic arcade fighting game series from industry greats such as Capcom and SNK, Blazing Strike evokes the excitement and nostalgia of 2D pixel art genre pioneers while incorporating a unique games system with modern mechanics.

“As the interest in fighting games continues to grow, we’re excited to see a title that explores new ideas in fun and creative ways while tipping its hat to grandfathers of the genre,” said Akibo Shieh, founder and CEO of Aksys Games.

Blazing Strike features a 4-button system with six normal attacks: light, medium and heavy punches and kicks, as well as three defense moves: block, guard and parry. A Rush Trigger enables fighters to execute fast-paced attacks and movements, but using it will slowly drain the Rush Meter, sending the character into a temporary groggy state. This allows players to execute exciting combos while having to manage the Rush Meter. The gamewill include three play modes: Story Mode, Arcade Mode and VS Mode, with training, sparring and online match via Persona AI, and online play powered by GGPO.

ABOUT THE GAMEThe Amazing American Circus is a blend of a Slay the Spire-style card game mixed with tycoon and simulation mechanics, as well as thoughtful resource management. Manage not only your artists but the entire circus camp. How you expand your circus depends only on you! Your main task in the game is to give circus performances. You will face an often extremely bored audience. Deciding which artists you put on the show is crucial since each of them has their own unique cards. Circus performance is a special card duel played between you and the audience. Their boredom or anger is your enemy, and your best weapons are brilliant performances and effective tricks performed by selected circus artists. Choose your cards wisely and try to skillfully identify the mood of the crowd.

The Action-RPG from Cereal Games debuts on Nintendo’s console and PC on May 27th, with the PS4 and Xbox One versions following soon.

Madrid, May 20th, 2021. As of today, there is only one week left for the noir Action-RPG created by Cereal Games to be released on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.

The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Pecaminosa will follow shortly after; we will soon confirm the final release date of the versions for Sony and Microsoft consoles.

Pecaminosa is a Police Action RPG, in which you embody a disgraced detective on the strangest case of his career: helping the ghost of a dead mobster in his aim to wash away his sins and reach for Heaven. Grab your gun, hit the streets and do what you do best: investigate and interact with the scum

Pecaminosa blends the charm of pixel art and the mechanics of an Action RPG with the atmosphere of film noir. The Legend of Zelda combined with Touch of Evil.

You have not seen and played anything like it. Interrogate suspects, explore a city dominated by crime and sin, and never hesitate to use your fists and guns. These are hard times in a very tough city.

Customize your character’s appearance and equipment and have it evolve through the L.I.F.E. system, distributing experience points into four different parameters: Luck, Intelligence, Force and Endurance.

Play Blackjack to earn extra money, visit the liquor store, socialize with the scum, visit the police station and the brothel, in addition to other venues recreated with great graphic detail… and don’t trust anyone. There is a bullet with your name on it, and it’s eager to meet you.
