Farm Frenzy Refreshed is now on Steam!

Farm Frenzy is now available on Steam and is ready to win over a whole new set of fans!

The series’s classic gameplay returns: players must turn their humble farm into a profitable agrobusiness. Take care of animals, get the farm in order and harvest crops. And if you run into a bear or other dangerous animals, don’t worry! You have all the tools you need to take care of them.

What’s different about the new Farm Frenzy? First, the are some graphical changes. All the animal models, buildings and backgrounds have been created in 3D from scratch. The game now has a dynamic day/night cycle, which means you can now collect produce and take care of the animals while watching the sunset. This helps to create a real farming atmosphere.

Players will also appreciate the gameplay changes – every level now has weather conditions that affect gameplay. On sunny days, grass in levels disappears much faster and needs to be watered. When it rains, grass grows without watering. The game also features new animals such as horses and foals, which come with their own special gameplay mechanics.

But despite the new additions, the game offers the same Farm Frenzy experience that has already won over millions of players worldwide!

To mark its release, the game is currently available on Steam at a 20% discount.

Monster summoning action-roguelike Sword of the Necromancer is Out Now

Left for dead or will you rise to the challenge?

Barcelona, Spain – January 28th, 2021 –  Grimorio of Games and JanduSoft S.L. launch their monster summoning action roguelike Sword of the Necromancer, available today on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.

Sword of the Necromancer is a dungeon-crawler action-RPG with roguelike elements where you can revive your defeated enemies to make them fight alongside you. Turn your foes into allies using the forbidden powers of the Sword of the Necromancer and help the rogue Tama reach the dungeon’s depths to gather enough power to bring her beloved priestess Koko back from the dead. Assemble a small army of monsters, equip yourself with weapons and relics, and level up to take on the guardians that stand between you and your goal.

Each attempt gets you closer to the Necromancer. Upon death you’ll lose all your equipped weapons and monsters, but you will retain part of the level you achieved in your run. As you scour deeper through the dungeon you’ll uncover more of Tama and Koko’s past. Do you think it is dangerous to go alone? Then use the Flask of Homunculus to create a copy of yourself and play with a friend in local co-op! Additionally, there are IR codes that can be scanned to make the game easier. Or harder. The choice is yours!

“We’re very excited for players to finally get their hands on our creation!” say the developers. “Sword of the Necromancer is our take on modern day dungeon crawlers. Inspired by classics, we aim to create a new and exciting adventure while feeling familiar. The game combines monster summoning action with a fluid battle system working together as you strive to revive Koko in an engaging yet challenging experience.”

To celebrate the launch Grimorio of Games has released one of the songs from the game’s soundtrack, composed by Dale North (Wizard of Legend, Sparklite, Nintendo Minute) and sung by Emi Evans (Nier & Nier Automata, Drakengard, Dark Souls).

Balance brains and brawn in brand new story-driven action RPG Batora: Lost Haven

Developer Stormind Games bringing first wholly owned, original property to PC and Consoles

Catania, Italy – 28th January 2021: Stormind Games, developer of the critically acclaimed Remothered franchise and which recently announced its collaboration with award winning writer Anne Toole, Ron Fish – renowned composer of the Arkham Series & former Assassin’s Creed Concept Artist Borislav Mitkov is delighted to reveal the first details and trailer for their brand new IP, Batora: Lost Haven, coming to PC, Playstation 4 and 5, Xbox One and X and Nintendo Switch.

Built on a rich Action RPG foundation, Batora follows Avril –  a regular 16-year old girl, not a natural born hero – as she realises, after losing everything she cares for, that she is the  only one who can save a dying planet Earth from oblivion. This is how her interplanetary adventure starts: along this journey she will visit colorful and mysterious planets and meet intriguing characters – and she will learn that every choice has a consequence.

Far from a standard aRPG game, Batora is based on the duality between mind and body, introducing a new game mechanic that challenges players to find the perfect balance between the two – losing sight of one could mean that their journey is over. Batora doesn’t present the hero’s journey in black or white, good or evil: there are decisions and there are their consequences. Every single decision Avril makes will turn out to be important, often even life-changing, for the characters she meets or the places she visits.

“We live our lives in a constant state of flux between our physical and mental well being, often with little thought for how they affect each other.” commented Giacomo Masi, Narrative Designer on Batora: Lost Haven. “The journey which Avril takes in Batora really focuses on the need for a strategic dualism – mastering the balance between the physical and the mental –  whilst presenting a multi-branching, narrative full of consequences, rich in plot twists and credible, like-able characters.”

The duality of the lead character is also one of Batora’s most unique features with players required to use the “switch mechanic” to alternate between their physical and mental states. Learning the right time to strike or not be struck and in which state to do so will present a considerable challenge to even the most experienced players.

Whilst taking the studio in a new direction and tackling a new genre, Batora will also stay true to Stormind’s core principles of offering intense, emotional stories in tandem with unique and distinctive art styles.

Gaetano Caltabiano, Art Director on the project, added “Bridging the gap between the physical and mental calls for a particular visual representation and we’ve really tried to distinguish between the two with a hand-painted approach inspired by Sci-Fi art of the 1950s versus the photo-realistic approach of many of today’s AAA titles. We’ve really drawn a lot of inspiration from the likes of Alphonse Mucha and the intense Sci-fi environments of Paul Lehr”

“We’re all extremely excited to finally be able to announce this new adventure to the world”, stated  Antonio Cannata, CEO and Co-Founder of Stormind Games “This is Stormind Games’ first proprietary IP, and our first next-gen video game – we’re stepping up our game, and both as a man who works in this industry and as a passionate gamer, I can positively state that our team’s professional growth, together with the contribution of stars such as Anne Toole, Borislav Mitkov  and Ron Fish, definitely makes Batora: Lost Haven our most ambitious project so far”

Batora: Lost Haven will launch for PC, Playstation 4 and 5, Xbox One and X and Nintendo Switch.
