KING ARTHUR: KNIGHT’S TALE – NEW EARLY ACCESS DATE: 26 JANUARY

12 January, 2021 – In the past few weeks, we here at NeocoreGames have been working on delivering the Early Access version of King Arthur: Knight’s Tale. We’re very nearly there. However, there are still a few bumps to iron out, and as a result we’ve taken the decision to push back the Early Access release of King Arthur: Knight’s Tale by a few days.

While we are aware that Early Access is called that name for a reason, we want to ensure everything is polished and bugs are squashed before you begin your adventure in Avalon, and we need to a little more time to do that.

The Early Access version of KING ARTHUR: KNIGHT’S TALE will now launch on 26 January.

Based on the Arthurian mythology, KING ARTHUR: KNIGHT’S TALE is a turn-based tactical role playing game – a unique hybrid between turn-based tactical games and traditional, character-centric RPGs. KING ARTHUR: KNIGHT’S TALE is a modern retelling of a classic Arthurian mythology story filtered through the dark fantasy tropes, a twist on the traditional tales of chivalry.

MAIN FEATURES

Your Fights – Control a small team of heroes and fight grueling, but satisfying battles with a deeply engaging, tactical turn-based combat system. Choose from more than 30 heroes of 5 diverse classes and combine hundreds of skills and artifacts to assemble an efficient team.

Your Heroes – Gather your own Knights of the Round Table and send them on knightly quests. These heroes are the most important resources and the most complex gameplay elements at the same time. But beware! Death is always final! You must manage them at the Round Table accordingly, planning ahead before going into battles. The character progression system is designed to be as deep as in the traditional RPGs: heroes level up on unique skill trees and the complex loot system provides unique options to fine-tune their tactical capabilities. Each hero has a distinctive personality and their loyalty is constantly changing through the decisions made by the player –  in certain cases they can even leave the Round Table and turn against you.

Your Kingdom – See the entirety of Avalon presented on a the Adventure Map, observe all the territory, select your missions and explore various places. Management in KING ARTHUR: KNIGHT’S TALE focuses on rebuilding Camelot and expanding the mystical Stronghold with new buildings that each unlock various upgrades, and also offers different ways to heal up and manage the heroes of the Round Table.

Your Legend – Play as Sir Mordred, the former nemesis of King Arthur. Explore the mystical island of Avalon, venture on knightly quests and make decisions in various encounters where you’ll need to make moral choices, as in most RPGs, which all have impact on the story and your Morality. The end of the campaign opens up new endgame content for the bravest of all: tough new challenges appear on the map with challenging, mythic boss fights and random quests, loot, and character progression ultimately leading to the banishing of Balor, the monstrous god-king of the Fomorians himself.

Beyond the Legend – Complete more than 50 unique points of interest on the Adventure Map, including 20 story missions and various side quests, taking place on diverse terrains. Journey to dark castle dungeons and the forests of the Sídhe, all built by using photoscanned environments and complemented by high-quality mocap animation, then rendered inside a modern PBR engine utilizing DirectX 12 to support strong, atmospheric effects. Challenge 7 enemy factions, fight more than 50 types of enemy units, overcome 10 incredible boss fights throughout your quests.

The exterior of the sound bars are made from recycled materials while the packaging is designed to protect without the use of expanded polystyrene foam blocks.

At the company’s press event streamed on the LG CES 2021 website and LG global YouTube channel, LG redefines the meaning of “home” with a presentation of advanced products and services designed to make consumers’ daily lives more comfortable, convenient and enjoyable, while its online exhibition booth gives visitors the opportunity to explore the latest LG innovations from the comfort of their monitors, laptops or mobile devices.

LG’s CES press event had something for everyone, including a first look at the rollable LG phone project and virtual human influencer. The LG Rollable smartphone made an appearance at CES, briefly demonstrating its unique resisable screen. As the second device under the brand’s Explorer Project, this rollable device is an “exploratory” look at what the future of smartphones may bring. Later in the event LG introduced Reah Keem, a virtual composer and DJ made even more human through deep learning technology. Reah used her time in the spotlight to introduce the new LG CLOi robot that utilises ultraviolet C (UV-C) light to clean high-touch, high-traffic areas such as hotel rooms and restaurants.

The LG virtual exhibition is divided into four different sites: Life is ON TV, Virtual Experience, LG SIGNATURE in Vegas and Life’s Good Studio. Life in On TV delivers 24/7 coverage of CES 2021 with the latest LG product news as well as entertaining lifestyle programming. Virtual Experience offers an interactive exhibit with four different product zones, while LG SIGNATURE in Vegas is a stunning showcase that pairs the wonders of Las Vegas with LG SIGNATURE’s artistically inspired appliances. Visitors to Life’s Good Studio can enjoy fun musical collaborations with some of the recording industry’s up-and-coming artists.

The TV and AV Zone within the Virtual Experience plays host to the impressive sights and picture quality of the unrivalled OLED Fall display, a wall of flexible OLED screens that greets all guests. Here, visitors can learn all about the LG OLED core strengths – “4S” for sharp, swift, smooth and slim – via a special, interactive presentation that leverages extended reality (XR) and augmented reality (AR) technology. A 3D avatar of tech influencer, Linus Sebastian, will be on hand to act as a guide and bring a human element to the LG showcase at the first-ever all-virtual CES.

The Home Cinema Zone features LG MAGNIT, a 163-inch LG large screen Micro LED signage, which delivers deeper blacks and improved contrast and colour accuracy with the company’s Black Coating technology. Guests can fully immerse themselves and enjoy the benefits of Micro LED, viewing lively content in realistic extended reality (XR).

The Home Appliance Zone demonstrates how a home can be made even more liveable and hygienic through technology. Guests can experience LG innovations improving lives in the kitchen, living room and laundry.

LG Business Solutions’ exhibit features advanced consumer products, highlighted by the IT Zone. In this zone, visitors can experience personal devices that aim to enhance productivity and deliver immersive content across four virtual environments, including a home office and a gaming room.

And finally, Mobile Zone provides an opportunity to get to know the newest LG mobile innovations, including the swivelling, dual-display LG WING smartphone. An instantly-familiar Oceanhorn side-adventure for up to 4 players in local multiplayer, Chronos Dungeon is a 16-bit-style rogue-lite dungeon crawler featuring quick play sessions, inspired by fantasy tabletop games.

Two hundred years have passed since the Catastrophe, and the once powerful Realm of Arcadia lays in ruins – small Arcadian settlements are scattered across islands and floating in between clouds in the Uncharted Seas.
