GuangZou, February 4th – LilliLandia Games, an indie studio under Tencent Games specialising in the life simulation genre, is excited to announce that registration is open for the first closed Alpha Test of Animula Nook. Players will be able to get their first hands-on experience by shrinking down and exploring a whimsical micro-verse hidden within their bedroom. 

Animula Nook is an innovative Lilliput fantasy life simulation game where your bedroom, from your desk and windowsill to every dusty corner, is reimagined as a vast adventure map. Designed as a stress-light sanctuary, the game focuses on discovery, creativity, and tranquil social play.

Players use a signature shrinking mechanic to upcycle household clutter into building materials, turning milk cartons into apartments, teacups into cafés, and planters into tiny farms growing towering crops. Deep customisation allows players to style their character, their home, and even their friends, including both NPC Minies and fellow players.

Exploration leads to charming locations like Wupa Woods, where players gather petals, spider silk, mushrooms, and bottled sunlight while discovering mini-games and surprises along the way. Social play is central, from growing a neighbourhood in Wuruville to teaming up in the light-hearted co-op Demeteor Ascent challenge.

Beyond building and exploration, players can enjoy lifestyle activities such as forming bands with eight playable instruments, experimenting with tiny cooking recipes, and dancing together during cosy gatherings.

Guerrilla today announced a new chapter in the Horizon universe: Horizon Hunters Gathering, in development for both PlayStation 5 and PC, with cross-play and cross-progression support. 

Horizon Hunters Gathering is a cooperative action game that lets three players team up as heroic Hunters to protect a world under threat from deadly machines. Combat is tactical, reactive, and deeply skill-based, building on the tactical precision of the Horizon games while embracing the dynamics of team play. 

The foundation of Horizon Hunters Gathering centres on challenging, replayable hunts. So far, two game modes have been revealed: 

• Machine Incursion, a high-intensity mission in which waves of machines pour out from underground gateways, led by a formidable boss. 
• Cauldron Descent, a longer, multi-stage trial where ever-changing rooms push Hunters to their limits—from brutal machine encounters to hidden doors that promise power and rewards for teams prepared to open them.

Both modes will be available in an upcoming closed playtest through the PlayStation Beta Program on PS5 and PC. 

In Horizon Hunters Gathering, players choose from a roster of uniquely skilled Hunters – each with distinct melee or ranged playstyles and weapons – and select Hunter roles further embedded with a rogue-lite perk system to craft the build that best suits a player’s style and team. 

These Hunters have their own motivations and secrets that tie into a larger story about the world of Horizon. The game features a narrative campaign that will introduce new mysteries, characters, and threats, but it’s under wraps for now. What the team can say is that Hunters Gathering is fully canon, and its story doesn’t end at launch! 

As players hunt dangerous machines in the wilds, they’ll travel through a range of environments that bring missions and stories to life. Each location offers its own atmosphere, challenges, and opportunities for teams to explore and master together. 

Between missions, players return to Hunters Gathering, a vibrant social hub where they can connect, prepare, and celebrate victories together. Here, players can customise Hunters, visit vendors, upgrade gear, and team up for their next adventure. 

The first, small-scale closed playtest arrives at the end of February. Players can sign up via the PlayStation Beta Program and mark their interest in any future Horizon Hunters Gathering playtest on PC or PS5.

Today, 2K and Gearbox Software announced that Borderlands 4’s Bounty Pack 2: Legend of the Stone Demon will be available to players on February 26th as the first piece of premium paid content for the title.

This all-new bite-sized-yet-flavourful narrative content delivers players a new mission and Legendary loot to collect, as well as a themed Vault Card featuring 24 cosmetics and 4 rerollable pieces of gear unlocked through gameplay. The full story and more details about Legend of the Stone Demon will be revealed closer to the launch.

Alongside Bounty Pack 2, a major update will be released that marks an exciting addition to Borderlands 4‘s loot chase with Pearlescent gear—a new rarity tier with power levels superior to even Legendary gear. This new rarity will be available to all players regardless of what edition of Borderlands 4 they own (though certain pieces of Pearlescent gear are exclusive to Bounty Pack 2).

The first Story Pack for Borderlands 4, Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned, will launch in March and introduces multiple main missions and side missions set in a new zone of Kairos, new gear to earn, and heaps of new cosmetics. This Story Pack centres on the return of the indomitable fan-favourite Ellie, and focuses on a cosmic horror theme with a bloodier, darker tone. Players can now wishlist Story Pack 1 on Steam. Also included in Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned is the first new playable Vault Hunter in Borderlands 4: C4SH. A former casino dealer bot, C4SH is now a drifter who chases the probability-breaking highs of cursed eldritch artifacts. Similar to the other Vault Hunters in Borderlands 4, C4SH has three unique Action Skills to choose from, and can enhance his abilities via three branching skill trees full of powerful passives, Augments, and Capstones.

Players who own Borderlands 4 Super Deluxe Edition are automatically granted access to all of the content from the Bounty Pack Bundle (Bounty Packs 2, 3, 4, and 5) and Vault Hunter Pack (Story Packs 1 and 2), while Borderlands 4 Deluxe Edition grants the Bounty Pack Bundle. Bethesda Game Studios announced that Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition, containing the six official add-ons and packed with over 150 pieces of Creation Club content, will be available on Nintendo Switch™ 2 on February 24, 2026.

Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition is the summation of a decade of memories and adventures in the award-winning RPG, offering both new and veteran players the most complete version of Fallout 4 ever. Following last year’s digital launch of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition on Nintendo Switch™ 2, Bethesda Game Studios announced that a physical edition (code-in-box) will be available on April 28, 2026.
