MotoGP™ 21 Debuts First Gameplay Footage!

The Long Lap Penalty is ready to join the race

Sydney, Australia, March 12th, 2021 – Milestone and Dorna Sports S.L. arefinally ready to show the first gameplayof MotoGP™21, the next game of the unique two-wheeled racing simulation that is coming to PlayStation 4™, PlayStation 5™, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch™, PC, Steam, and Epic Games Store on April 22nd, 2021.

As the game strives for continual advances, the 2021 edition will feature a series of new introductions in the gameplay mechanics. One of these is the well-known Long Lap Penalty, a penalty for riders that are not racing in a fair manner.

It consists of adding several seconds to a lap, running on a route outside of the track, which is some seconds slower than the normal racing line. It is indeed a useful way for the stewards to impose a minor penalty which might cost the rider a single position. 

On top of that, MotoGP™21 promises an experience more real than ever, with gameplay offering an electrifying, strategic and adrenaline-fueled racing simulation. There will be more to discuss soon, so stay tuned!

In the meantime, Long Lap Penalty makes its debut along with a gameplay sequence that starts to introduce the player to the amazing feeling of the game.

MotoGP™21 will be released on April 22nd, 2021 on PlayStation 4™, PlayStation 5™, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch™, PC, Steam, and Epic Games Store.

Sydney, Australia – March 12, 2021 – Studio Revolution Software, creators of the popular Broken Sword series, and French publisher Microids, are thrilled to announce today the signing of a publishing deal for the release of Beyond a Steel Sky on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Already available on Apple Arcade & Steam, the retail and digital versions of the game will launch in Q3 2021. From Charles Cecil, creator of the Broken Sword series, with art direction by Dave Gibbons, legendary comic book artist behind Watchmen, Beyond A Steel Sky is the sequel to the classic Beneath a Steel Sky.

Beyond a Steel Sky stands as a thrilling story of loyalty and redemption set in an eerie and terrifying world of AI-driven social controls. Atari® Partners with RTFKT Studio on Limited-Edition NFT Fashion Series

ALKIMIA INTERACTIVE TO DEVELOP GOTHIC REMAKE

  • Encodya: In-line with the game’s theme, Assemble partnered with Plan International, a charity focused on advancing children’s rights and equality for young girls. For every “Save the World Edition” sold, 10% of proceeds go directly to the organization, with extra emphasis on support for orphaned children. 
     
  • Ultimate ADOM – Caverns of Chaos: Chaos shouldn’t be part of a child’s life, which is why Assemble is working alongside the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), donating 10% of proceeds from every “Save the World Edition” purchased. 

Assemble Entertainment’s corporate social commitment does not end with its special editions of games. Extensive charitable activities are also carried out internally within the “A-Team.” For each Assemble team member (26 total), a “godparenthood” has been formalized through Plan International, meaning over two dozen impoverished children and their families in 50 countries across Africa, Asia, and Latin America are sponsored directly through the program. Additionally, Assemble Entertainment carries out many local efforts, including regular donations and monetary support to Wiesbaden’s food banks and animal shelters. Assemble also directly supports the Zwerg-Nase Organization, a local hospital facility that houses disabled children and offers support for parents.
 
For Stefan Marcinek, Assemble Entertainment’s CEO and Founder, social commitment also means funding, supporting, and educating young “close to home” talent within the games industry. As such, Assemble Entertainment organizes GermanDevDays, the largest German-speaking developer conference in Germany, with over 1,200 attendees annually, many of which are students who are able to attend completely free-of-charge. Additionally, students have the opportunity to earn a GDD Award through the GDD Foundation, an effort dedicated to providing scholarships and mentoring services to budding talent in the German games industry. Taking place virtually in 2021, developers who attend GermanDevDays are able to submit their games for award consideration, network with industry professionals, attend workshops, and more.
