FINAL FANTASY XIV ONLINE PATCH 5.5: DEATH UNTO DAWN BRINGS NIER CROSSOVER TO DRAMATIC CONCLUSION ON 13th APRIL

PlayStation®5 Open Beta Launch to Coincide with Patch 5.5 Release

Following the reveal of Endwalker™, the highly-anticipated fourth expansion for FINAL FANTASY® XIV Online, SQUARE ENIX® revealed first details for Patch 5.5—the next major update for the critically acclaimed MMORPGscheduled to release on 13th April.

Additionally, the recently announced PlayStation®5 console version of FINAL FANTASY XIV Online is scheduled to launch into open beta on 13th April, 2021. The  PlayStation 5 version will feature numerous upgrades from the PlayStation 4 version, including significantly improved frame rates, faster load times, 4K resolution support and more. Players whose FFXIV service account has a registered license for the PlayStation 4 version may download and play the PlayStation 5 Upgrade Version at no extra cost at the start of the open beta period, while new players can experience the game on the PlayStation 5 through the Free Trial. The full version of the game will be available on PlayStation 5 following the conclusion of the open beta.

Titled “Death Unto Dawn,” Patch 5.5 will be split in two parts and set the stage for the Endwalker expansion. Part one is headlined by the third chapter of YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse—the NieR-inspired alliance raid featuring the work of guest creators Yosuke Saito and YOKO TARO—alongside an abundance of new story and battle content, system updates, and more.

Additional details on Patch 5.5 content are outlined below:

●     New Main Scenario Quests – The story update—split into two parts—will pave the way for the Endwalker storyline.
●     New Alliance Raid – The third chapter of the NieR-inspired YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse alliance raid series.
●     “Sorrow of Werlyt” Questline Update – The thrilling conclusion of the Warrior of Light and Gaius’ quest to thwart the Empire’s warmachina development project.
●     New Trial: The Cloud Deck – Players can face off against the fearsome Diamond Weapon in this latest trial, which will be available in both Normal and Extreme difficulties.
●     New Dungeon: Paglth’an – Players can tackle this new story dungeon alongside fellow adventurers or a party of non-player characters via Trust System compatibility.
●     “Save the Queen”Questline Update – Alongside the addition of a new field area, “Zadnor,” players can further upgrade their Resistance Weapons to their final and most powerful stage.
●     New Unreal Trial –The next powered-up version of an existing primal will be unleashed upon level 80 heroes, providing players with a new challenge and a chance to collect unique prizes.
●     Crafter Updates –High-level crafters can look forward to new content in Patch 5.5 that will earn them special achievements and unique crafting tools.
●     Ishgard Restoration Update –Locals of The Firmament will periodically hold Fêtes to celebrate the completion of the restoration.
●     “Explorer Mode” Update –The Explorer Mode feature will be expanded to all Level 70 dungeons. Explorer Mode allows players to explore dungeons free from danger to capture striking and fun screenshots while enabling the use of mounts and minions.Players will also now be able to use performance actions while in dungeons, such as playing musical instruments.
●     Performance Action Updates – Players will now be able to change instruments at any time while performing, and a new instrument will be added.
●     Job Adjustments for PvE and PvP ActionsNew Custom Deliveries, Ocean Fishing Update, New Mounts and more.

The recently announced fourth expansion pack of the FINAL FANTASY XIV Online saga, Endwalker, is scheduled to release Autumn 2021 for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Mac. Endwalker is the culmination of the Hydaelyn and Zodiark story, in which Warriors of Light will encounter an even greater calamity than ever before, and will bring an abundance of new content, including multiple new jobs, an increased level cap, vast new areas, adjustments to the battle system, as well as a variety of new battle, crafter and gatherer content.

Sydney, Australia 9th February 2021 | Deep Silver has unveiled full details of the upcoming DLC for Gods Will Fall, with three paid for planned content drops, along with free Dolmen Depths DLC.

Releasing in stages across Q2 and Q3 this year, each DLC instalment will include a full new level and God encounter, plus new items and skills and new warrior cosmetic items. A new weapon class will be included in each of the first two instalments of the DLC. There will also be some new features added to the overworld. The game will automatically update for those who own the Valiant Edition.

In addition, Dolmen Depths is completely free for all via a patch in Q2. Delve into a mysterious underworld of the Dolmen Depths and fight to bring a long lost warrior back from the beyond and into your party. LOS ANGELES – FEB. 8, 2021 – Netmarble’s latest update for its popular Dark Fantasy Open World MMORPG A3: STILL ALIVE officially introduces the previously-teased “Somius” region that is now open for Warriors to explore and conquer, alongside various in-game events and enhancements that are available for players .

The new Somius region introduces new quests, new territories for players to explore, and the first two floors of a new Corrupt Aselcan Ruins dungeon to conquer. To prepare for the Somius region, the maximum player level has increased to 140 and new level 130-140 equipment has been added to the game.

A new Offline Auto Battle – ALIVE MODE is also now live. Based on A3: STILL ALIVE’s unique AI Battle feature, players can use detailed strategy to hunt and continue the excitement of growing their characters’ strength even while they are offline. ALIVE MODE offers major alerts – including item achievements, deaths, lack of supporting items and full inventory – to keep players updated on their character’s status. ALIVE MODE also supports active gameplay timings that stand out from other auto battle modes that only feature basic auto-play and reward collecting.

In newly opened servers, players will be given a 3x Experience Boost, and can participate in a Bonus Time event. Various rewards, including up to 3x Heroic 6★ Soul Linkers, a Legendary 8★ Conversion Ticket, and a Heroic Accessory Chest, will be provided via the Somius Special Event, Adrasil’s Trial Ranking Event, and a new Guild Event.

Today’s update also introduces various events, including:

  • Somius Special Event (Feb. 4~18)
    • In addition to 14 Day Missions and a Raid EXP Bonus Time event, players entering the new servers will also see a 300% boost in earned experience, along with those who enter the Metium area.
    • Returning users will also enjoy a 28-Day Daily Check-In Event, along with a separate 7-Day Mission event
  • Server Merge Event (Feb. 4~18)
    • Players may take pictures with as many guild members as possible, and share the picture to Facebook. The guild with the most liked comments will be rewarded 500x Blue Diamonds for every Member.

LOS ANGELES– Feb. 5, 2021 –The world’s most popular mobile game keeps bringing fresh updates to players as PUBG MOBILEreceives an all-new quickplay game mode as part of today’s 1.2 content update, available for free on the App Store and Google Play.

The new EvoGround gameplay, Power Armor Mode, brings new high-tech Power Armor on Livik with extra abilities. Players can create Power Armor by bringing Nano Crystals and an Armor Blueprint to the Matrix base. Players will have two respawn chances as battling to survive. They can choose to respawn themselves with basic equipment, or have their teammates respawned at research stations.

The Extreme Hunt Power Armor increases chest damage reduction and backpack capacity, boosts arm damage reduction and melee damage, decreases fall damage and also unlocks the ability to spring.

There are three kinds of Power Armor with different abilities for players to obtain.

  • Power Armor Chest: Increases chest damage reduction and backpack capacity.
  • Power Armor Arms: Increases arm damage reduction and melee damage.
  • Power Armor Legs: Increases leg damage reduction, decreases fall damage, gives the ability to sprint.

Assembling the full Power Armor set unlocks its ultimate weapon, the Dragon’s Breath Grenade. Similarly, a new Matrix event offers improved regional supply output, multiple airdrops and Life Detectors in research stations.

In addition to the new game mode, a new Dream Team Theme will be available from Tuesday, Feb. 9 to Sunday, March 7 to celebrate Valentine’s Day. When this theme is available, a pier leading to Cheer Park Island will appear, and a giant bunny doll with a heart will appear on Cheer Park Island. Players will be able to trigger Love Confession Balloons which will rise up into the air and display the name of the player who is being confessed.

Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN Esports squad fighting weekend in Silverstone

Hinwil, 8th February 2021 – The Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN esports team had a busy evening of competition in the second round of the 2021 Virtual Grand Prix Series, as Thibaut Courtois and Jack McDermott finished in P11 and P14 in Silverstone.

Earlier in the evening, esports pros, Daniel Bereznay and Simon Weigang, had done a fine job in securing high starting positions for the “celebrity” duo in the main feature race. Qualifying in P6 and 10 respectively, Bereznay and Weigang kept their cool in the hectic, five-lap race to make up places: both saved their ERS and tyres for the final lap, when they were able to climb into third and sixth places, good positions ahead of the main event.

Both Courtois and McDermott, aka PieFace, were eager to pick up where they had left off in Austria, both showing good pace in the opening event of the series. Real Madrid goalkeeper, Courtois, had a perfect getaway on the grid, muscling past Alex Albon and climbing to second, while football fan McDermott dispatched George Russell for P5. They both settled into a rhythm heading to their first pit-stops, but their races were once again compromised by the issues that hampered them in Austria.

A contact with a rival spun Belgium international Courtois around, costing him time and positions, while PieFace was at the receiving end of two time penalties for track limits. At the chequered flag, Thibaut crossed in P11, a mere six tenths away from a points-paying position; PieFace, who had stopped a final time to try and claim the fastest lap on fresh tyres, was 14th. Both drivers felt very unlucky about how their races developed, but spirits remained high as both enjoyed the wheel-to-wheel battles and their pace.

With one round remaining, in Brazil, there are plenty of promising signs to build on: both drivers are motivated to finish the series in style – as this incredible competition deserves.

Once live, both players of the regular PC version and Steam users will be able to fight side by side in the immersive PvP battles the legendary F2P strategic shooter is known for. The Steam version will be available to new accounts only but will feature everything its PC counterpart has to offer.

SQUARE ENIX ANNOUNCES ‘ENDWALKER’ – THE LATEST EXPANSION FOR FINAL FANTASY XIV ONLINE

PlayStation®5 Version of the Critically Acclaimed MMO Also Announced

LONDON (6th February, 2021) – SQUARE ENIX® today unveiled Endwalker™, the highly anticipated fourth expansion pack for FINAL FANTASY® XIV Online, the award-winning MMO with over 20 million registered players.

Scheduled to release Autumn 2021 for PC, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4 and Mac, Endwalker features the climax of the Hydaelyn and Zodiark story, in which Warriors of Light will encounter an even greater calamity than ever before as they travel to the far reaches of Hydaelyn and even to the moon. In addition to bringing the long-running story arc that began with A Realm Reborn™ to its conclusion, Endwalker will mark a new beginning for the beloved MMO, setting the stage for new adventures that longtime fans and new players can enjoy together.

Endwalker made its debut during the first-ever “FINAL FANTASY XIV Announcement Showcase” asProducer and Director Naoki Yoshida presented a stunning new trailer which set the stage for this next chapter in the FINAL FANTASY XIV Online epic.

During the showcase, Yoshida also revealed the upcoming PlayStation 5 console version of FINAL FANTASY XIV Online, scheduled to launch into open beta on 13th April, 2021. The PlayStation 5 version will feature numerous upgrades from the PlayStation 4 version, including significantly improved frame rates, faster load times, 4K resolution support and more. Players whose FFXIV service account has a registered license for the PlayStation 4 version may download and play the PlayStation 5 Upgrade Version at no extra cost at the start of the open beta period, while new players can experience the game on the PlayStation 5 through the Free Trial. The full version of the game will be available on PlayStation 5 following the conclusion of the open beta.

The new expansion will bring an abundance of new features, including multiple new jobs, an increased level cap, vast new areas, adjustments to the battle system, a variety of new challenges to overcome, as well as crafter and gatherer content.
