Stormind Games Reveals New Story Details for Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy at Midsummer Night’s Scream

Catania, June 2 – At Midsummer Night’s Scream, the major horror-focused showcase organized by the Horror Game Awards, Stormind Games presented the second Dev Diary for Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy, offering a deeper look into the narrative dimension of the newest chapter in the cult survival horror saga.

Midsummer Night’s Scream once again proved to be one of the most anticipated events for horror fans, and within this setting Stormind Games chose to unveil new elements surrounding the story and narrative universe of Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy, further clarifying the role this title plays within the series.

The team once again emphasized a key pillar of the project: players will not need to have experienced the first two Remothered titles to fully enjoy and understand this new adventure. Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy has been designed as an accessible entry point for newcomers, featuring a self-contained story and a new gateway into the saga.

The protagonist Susan, voiced by BAFTA-winning actress Cissy Jones, faces a deeply personal ordeal: when her daughter is kidnapped, her desperate search eventually leads her to an abandoned villa on Mount Etna, a place destined to become the heart of a nightmare filled with secrets, trauma, and disturbing presences.

As the story unfolds, players will gradually uncover the history of the family at the center of the events, maintaining an atmosphere strongly inspired by classic Italian horror and its most iconic influences, drawing inspiration from the visual language and mood that made filmmakers such as Mario Bava and Dario Argento legendary figures in the genre.

This new chapter will also offer an important opportunity to further expand the lore of the Remothered universe, introducing new locations, mysteries, and story elements that deepen the mythology of the saga. Alongside the mysterious Convent of the Cristo Morente, players will uncover more details about the Order of the Red Nuns, a central component of Red Nun’s Legacy and one of the key elements connecting the events of the entire series.

Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy is already available to wishlist on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. For the latest news and updates, visit remothered.com and follow the official channels on Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.

DIVE or DIE – Children of Rain Launches July 21st, 2026

A brand-new gameplay trailer offers a deeper look at the game ahead of launch

Montpellier, France – June 1, 2026. Independent French studio Drop Rate Studio and French publisher Dear Villagers, have announced during the Midsummer Night’s Scream and the AG French Direct that 2D Lovecraftian underwater roguelite DIVE or DIE – Children of Rain will release on July 21st, 2026 on PC (SteamEpic Games Store). A new trailer showcasing gameplay has just premiered for the occasion.

Years of the eerie “Black Rain” drowned the entire world, and few survivors remain. A race against time has started, as the Rainmaker, an Eldritch Divinity, has given humanity one final choice: recover its sacred idols hidden deep within the “Abyssal Pool” in under 40 days, or face extinction in the final Flood.

Players will lead a desperate camp of survivors clinging to the last remnants of land. To succeed, they will balance brutal realities: managing their fragile camp on the surface and making deadly descents into the Abyssal Pool below. Every dive is a gamble against dwindling oxygen, physical injury, and creeping madness as otherworldly horrors lurk in the darkness.

On the surface, players will rebuild infrastructure, assign survivors to vital roles, and upgrade diving gear. Each decision is a trade-off between immediate survival and long-term preparation. Below, prudence and efficiency are required to navigate among the ever-somber depths and its dwellers, while hoping to return to the surface with much-needed resources and live to dive another day.

A demo is available on Steam for players who wish to dip their toes into DIVE or DIE – Children of Rain right away.

Dear Villagers is currently running its Publisher Sale on Steam, with discounts of up to 90% across the indie publisher’s entire catalogue, from June 1st to 14th

Asymmetrical horror game Follow Us participates Midsummer Night’s Scream showcase

Explore abandoned places or command your partner from the control van in this horrifying and hilarious co-op creepfest

Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom and Otherskin developer Game Atelier have just shown off the latest trailer for their upcoming asymmetrical horror game Follow Us during the Midsummer Night’s Scream horror showcase. Launching June 5th on Steam Early Access, Follow Us is a hilarious and horrifying relationship stress test, one player explores a spooky environment, while another guides them remotely from the van, trying to keep their partner alive.

Each round of Follow Us begins with players choosing between two roles:

  • The Explorer (EXY): Bravely navigate a deadly, haunted environment
  • The Operator (OPY): Hang back safe in the van, hacking the playspace to protect their partner

Built on communication rather than complex mechanics, Follow Us creates tension by combining two different things: isolation and connection. Expect panic, shouting, and miscommunication. One wrong call can get your partner killed, and yes, it will probably be your fault. Every mission plays with fear in a different way… but they all end the same way: shared panic, bad decisions, and laughter. Using lo-fi chunky PSone-inspired graphics, everything in Follow Us aims for a clean, immediately legible aesthetic so anyone can hop right into the action and understand its horrific hijinks!

Play the Astonishing New Dark Fantasy RPG Demo From the Creator of Dread Delusion Now

Entropy and its Gorgeous Low Poly Graphics Launches into Early Access on Aug. 18 – Can’t believe he cut that guy’s arm off like that…

Draenog (June 1, 2026) – World-crafting mavens at developer Lovely Hellplace (Dread Delusion) and the horror-slingers at publisher DreadXP shadowdropped a demo for the upcoming dark fantasy RPG Entropy today on Steam, and also let the citizens of in-game world Draenog know that they don’t have to wait long as the indie dark RPG title hits Early Access on Aug. 18 (https://store.steampowered.com/app/3940340/Entropy/).

Inspired by classic JRPGs, Entropy is a post-apocalyptic role-playing game with an expansive world map, explorable towns filled with colorful characters and a tactical turn-based battle system all woven into a low poly, PSX-style visual tapestry that harkens back to early modern console days.  In this dying age, only pockets of humanity remain. There was no pivotal apocalyptic event to speak of; only the cruel march of time and the inexplicable infertility of the world. Accursed creatures stalk the barren lands between settlements, which are themselves terrible places; squalid, medieval and mostly ruled by tyrants.

Control your party of up to six unique but forgettable mercenaries – they are there to serve you in combat, after all. Each mercenary joins your party with their own talents (and preexisting injuries), as you embark on a quest across the poisoned lands to stop a wicked demonic incursion. Target enemy limbs, severing and weakening your foes in Entropy’s engrossing tactical turn-based combat… feel free to get creative.

Beautiful retro aesthetics set the backdrop for your exploration of a dying world full of strange creatures, unique characters, skill-testing challenges and best of all: TREASURES. Use your hard-earned currency and items to hire mercenaries to replace your fallen party members, and level up to increase your stats and unlock new perks.

The demo for Entropy is available now on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4585480/Entropy_Demo/
