Players Can Now Play Magic Anywhere by Downloading the App for Free on the App Store and Google Play

Friday 26 March, 2021 Wizards of the Coast, a subsidiary of Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAS) is proud to announce that Magic: The Gathering Arena is now available to download for free on the App Store and Google Play. With new touch screen controls the new mobile app allows players to manage and grow their Magic: The Gathering Arena collection wherever they go, and match against others on mobile, tablets, Windows PC or Mac OS.

All MTG Arena card sets, formats, events, deck building and more are supported on mobile and tablet devices, including the latest set Kaldheim. Players can use their Wizards Account to access their existing MTG Arena collection, complete quests, and match against other players regardless of platform. MTG Arena on mobile and tablets also utilizes touch screen and other gesture controls that make gameplay easier for smaller screens.

SYDNEY, 26th March 2021 Today Square Enix Ltd., announced that the 3D platformer BALAN WONDERWORLD™ is now available across Australia & New Zealand on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch™, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Steam®, and invites players to dive into a magical musical adventure, unlike anything seen before.

In BALAN WONDERWORLD, players will explore the whimsical land of Wonderworld along with the stars, Leo and Emma. With the help of the enigmatic maestro Balan, players must help restore balance to the hearts of twelve troubled souls by clearing out the Negati, physical manifestations of worry and other negative emotions. To accomplish this, players will jump, climb, fly, smash and more, as they explore a multitude of unique areas, collecting over 80 unique costumes that bestow special powers to assist them along the way. The adventure can be experienced in single player mode and with a friend in couch co-op where together they can combine creative costume abilities to defeat enemies and save the day.

Chip and Scan-It Janet work happily and efficiently at Battery Bot Manufacturer ROBOCO. An unfortunate accident sends Janet into a scanning frenzy, indirectly resulting in a gaping hole in the factory floor. The poor freshly-assembled Battery Bots plummet into the depths below, and Chip follows in hopes of saving them and helping Scan-It Janet return to their senses. 

While Chip’s lack of legs make jumping impossible, clever use of a head-mounted magnetic grappling hook makes soaring over hazards a snap. Swing over deadly obstacles with a simple, satisfying control scheme that makes planning and reflexes more important than controller mastery. Grapple points across 30 levels on floors with themes like Abandoned and Incinerator, then seek out hard-to-reach platforms and hidden areas.

Rescue more than 200 Battery Bots hiding in devious locations throughout the factory. Discover and complete challenges including escorting all Bots to safety on each floor to unlock eight new skins. Dress Chip up as the vampire-inspired Nos4bot2, the noxious Toxic Assembler, or even the retro-themed Pixel Chip. Become the fanciest grappling guru by competing across the world on per-level leaderboards.

Other investors with deep gaming and cash gaming expertise include Geoff Bough, the former head of Business Development at FanDuel, David Kirk, the former chief scientist at NVIDIA and Riz Virk, formerly on the founding team at TapJoy. Since the launch of its SDK in late 2020, the company has announced several partnerships with game studios and launched a dozen mobile cash tournament games as well as the Pearl Shop for players to redeem its in-game currency “Pearls” for fun and entertaining rewards, such as avatars and in-game cosmetic items.
