Bethesda ANZ adds budding AFL player Izak Rankine to brand ambassadorship star line-up

Rankine joins UFC middleweight Robert Whitaker as brand ambassador

Bethesda ANZ is excited to announce its signing of Gold Coast Suns rising star Izak Rankine as brand ambassador for the publisher’s impressive line-up of games – including The Elder Scrolls Online, Fallout and DOOM franchises.

Rankine’s passion for gaming and genuine excitement to work with Bethesda titles makes the talented AFL player ideal to represent Bethesda at events and in a range of new initiatives through 2021.

Rankine said “From a young age gaming has always been a huge part of my life and it’s something I use as a personal tool to keep my mind fit during the footy season. I’m excited to take this passion for some of my favourite Bethesda games like Fallout and The Elder Scrolls to the next level.”

The Gold Coast Suns player will compliment Bethesda’s already impressive partnership with UFC middleweight Robert Whittaker. Rob signed on as Bethesda’s ANZ brand ambassador in 2018 and has since been involved in some of the brands biggest gaming campaigns, including the launch of award-winning DOOM Eternal and widely loved The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor.

Whittaker said, “Working with Bethesda over the years has been such a great experience for me and I could not be happier to continue this relationship.”

Both Whittaker and Rankine will help Bethesda continue to support its strong RPG MMO audience with The Elder Scrolls Online, as well as showcase their passion for Fallout 76, DOOM Eternal and the upcoming, DEATHLOOP and Ghostwire: Tokyo.

Bethesda ANZ Managing Director Simon Alty said, “We are incredibly proud of the work we’ve done with Rob over the past three years and can’t wait to bring Izak on board to continue providing Australian gamers with incredible experiences and games to enjoy. Both Izak and Rob have down-to-earth personalities and an authentic passion for gaming, which aligns perfectly with who we are as Bethesda.”

Bethesda ANZ recently released The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood, and will be launching DEATHLOOP on September 14th 2021.

The Eternal Battle between the Forces of Light and Dark Rages Once More

Aliso Viejo, Calif. – June 9, 2021 – Experience the realm of Atreia as if it were new, as the battle between light and dark begins once more in Aion: Classic. The new service for the vaunted MMORPG Aion provides a fresh start as the game originally was when it launched in the Americas back in 2009, with some additional quality of life improvements. Players new and old can take flight to explore the massive, unique realm of the god Aion, hunt and venture on quests, or take a side in the battle between light and dark and fight other players. Aion Classic will be available in the Americas beginning on June 23, and the official site is now live at aionclassic.com.

Aion Classic will see the return of some of the games early, iconic dungeons, and only the original four character classes will be available to players (each with their two original subclasses). Keeping with the ethos of classic MMORPG experiences, the player progression in Aion Classic will be moderately paced, to increase opportunities for players to explore the world of the Asmodians and the Elyos.

Aion Classic will have a subscription-based model for players as well as a free to play option. By purchasing Siel’s Aura with real money, players will be able to buy recurring subscriptions of 30, 90, or 365 days. There’s also a 3-day pass available. The free option for players is available to everyone, but those players will gain experience slower than subscribers. Aion Classic will also have a Battle Pass, the Daeva Pass, which provides extra quests and rewards, and its own premium currency, Quna, which can be used to purchase cosmetic and consumable items, account services, and unlock the premium Daeva Pass tier.

Aion Classic also is a return to Aion’s unique rifting PVP, where portals open up between the realms of Asmodae and Elysea, providing PVP-specific quests and its own PVP currency, which can be used to buy special rewards and also contributes to player ranking. Faction-based Fortress sieges also round out the PVP experience in Aion Classic, where players from competing factions fight over control of objectives. Winners will earn special rewards.

Aion Classic will launch in the Americas on June 23, and Founders Packs are now available. For full details on pricing, please visit the official Aion Classic website.

In Season 2, N. Tropy was banished and left open a portal to the Dragon Realm, letting in the dastardly Dark Spyro and Gnasty Gnorc – who have since taken over three Spyro-themed lands. The much loved hero soon followed, but the portal to the Dragon Realm was broken in the process. It’s now up to Crash and Coco to defeat Dark Spyro and Gnasty Gnorc and help Spyro repair the Dragon Portal.

Season 3: Battle of the Dragons adds a 12th land called Upstream, which contains four battle runs, a collection run, one time trial and two challenge runs. Upstream debuted in the original Crash Bandicoot from 1996. In addition to the Dark Spyro and Gnasty Gnorc bosses, players will also be able to battle N. Gin and Koala Kong. Players can also complete new weekly missions to earn trophies, compete on the new seasonal leaderboard and complete the Bandicoot Pass to earn exclusive skins and rewards.

In Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! players run, spin, swipe and smash their way through mysterious lands, defeating the henchmen of Dr. Neo Cortex who has dispatched iconic villains across the multiverse. With the help of his sister Coco, Crash must bash Cortex’s minions back to their own dimensions! The game offers an un-fur-gettable gameplay experience, with a variety of running challenges and exciting features that add depth and progression to the game including time trials, collection runs, base building and crafting. The game will also be updated regularly with new cosmetic items, classic and creative new skins, and much more during regular seasonal updates.

The Wumpa Archipelago is vast and fans of the Crash Bandicootfranchise will immediately recognize memorable regions from previous Crash Bandicoot games, such as Temple Ruins, Turtle Woods, The Lost City, The Lab and more. Classic enemies and bosses, including Scorporilla, Nitrus Brio and Fake Crash will try to thwart Crash’s progress in a brand-new adventure that gamers can play on the go.

Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! is now available to download and play for free on iOS and Android. For more information visit www.CrashOnTheRun.com.

If You Build It, They Will Scream! Hell Architect Prologue Now Available to Download via Steam

Get hands on with Leonardo Interactive’s upcoming survival-sim and learn the skills needed to become your own architect of hell

Rome, Italy – 9th June 2021. Publisher Leonardo Interactive and developer Woodland Games are giving fans of survival-sim games the chance to get some hands-on time with their upcoming PC game Hell Architect. Fans who are looking to embrace their darker side can now download the Hell Architect Prologue directly from the Steam page for free and start crafting their own hell to satisfy not only the sinners who drop in but the big boss himself, Lucifer.

The Prologue will guide players through the basics of designing and building their very own hell in the comprehensive tutorial, before unleashing them into the Prologue scenario where they can put all their new found skills to the test. If that’s not enough, there is a sandbox mode available where you can research and construct evermore intricate rooms and put your sinners to work harvesting materials to build your torture devices! Expect dark humour and gory themes aplenty!

Check out the brand new Prologue announcement trailer below. Warning: may or may not contain nudity!

Download the Prologue of Hell Architect here

In Hell Architect you’re playing as, you guessed it, an architect of Hell. Your task here is to craft new prisons for the lost souls and sinners who have found themselves ‘downstairs’. Just like all good (or bad) big corporations, Hell is a tightly run ship and under the watchful eye of Lilith from the HR department, you must devise the most creative ways to squeeze as much suffering as you can out of the sinners who will be spending eternity in this hot spot. That’s not all. To climb down the corporate ladder, you must gain the approval of the greatest and most feared devils in Hell, including the head honcho, Lucifer himself, as they evaluate your hard work as well as your sense of aesthetics and thriftiness!

You will have a host of options available to start crafting your own Hell. All the lost souls who arrive through the gates have their own abilities and traits so put them to work harvesting resources and doing the grunt work while you concentrate on researching buildings to make sure their stay in Hell is as ‘comfortable’ as possible. From toilets and canteens to shrines and demonic conference rooms, your Hell must be ready to accept more lost souls and demon VIPs who will continue to drop into your domain, all requiring your attention in many different ways. Remember, the more souls that arrive, the more demands placed upon your resources, so make sure to manage your workers and continue to expand your empire to impress the boss. And don’t forget, if any of your workers step out of line you have the tools at your disposal to whip them back into shape. Literally.

Features of Hell Architect

  • Create the Hell of your dreams: Flex your creative muscles to design, build and furnish 9 infamous levels of Hell in the single player campaign mode, or spend a hellish eternity designing your own chaotic masterpiece from scratch in sandbox mode.
  • If you build it, they will suffer!: Begin with basic buildings like power stations (yup they need those in Hell too!) and canteens for your hungry workers and expand your empire to include shrines and intricate torture contraptions to increase the level of suffering for your weary residents.
  • Management is key: Harvesting resources, building an infrastructure and expanding your Hell will be key in your success. A constant stream of new lost souls will provide more hands to use, but will require managing to keep them working.
  • Crack the whip: Treat the sinners sent to your humble abode to different fun (or not so fun) sources of suffering, be it punishing them for disobedience or just for fun. Your Hell, your choices.
  • Hell never looked so good: The stylish 2D art style perfectly blends with the brutal, gorey themes and is topped off with outstanding dark humour.
  • Guest appearances: Play as Legendary Characters, a motley crew of history’s most despicable sinners who drop into your domain, each possessing special abilities to help build your devilish masterpiece.

Developed by Woodland Games and published by Leonardo Interactive, Hell Architect will be released for PC via Steam this summer. Fans head to the Steam page and download the Prologue as well as wishlist the game now. FARMING SIMULATOR 22 COLLECTOR’S EDITION, PRODUCTION CHAINS AND US MAP REVEALED

Farming Simulator 22 releases this year – limited Collector’s Edition available soon! The game, self-published by developer and publisher GIANTS Software, will come to PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Stadia in Q4 2021.

In limited quantity, the PC version will be available as a stylish Collector’s Edition including a branded, high-quality beacon light. Players operating heavy machinery can enjoy the illuminating orange light as it turns on in real-time corresponding to the vehicles’ beacon light in-game. Also included in the Collector’s Edition are two posters, 24 brand stickers, and updated modding tutorials. Depending on the region, fans can enjoy a Massey Ferguson 8S, Fendt 900 Vario, Case IH Magnum 340 or Zetor Crystal on the cover of the standard edition.

Bread and butter: Production chains expand farming operations
A new economic layer is added to Farming Simulator 22 by introducing production chains. Players can deliver their harvested crops to various shops and businesses for processing. The grain mill, for example, can now produce flour to be delivered to the bakery, starting a lucrative chain of production resulting in fine bread or delicious cake.

Depending on the goods the players want to produce, they must provide the respective factory with multiple resources, like butter or sugar, first. After the production of sellable goods, players are able to further distribute them to points of sale like the supermarket. While some are already present, the players can also build them themselves to expand their operations.

Wide open spaces and landmarks: US map offers vast open space to build farms
Farming Simulator 22 includes two new maps plus an updated alpine Erlengrat map. Inspired by the US Midwest region, the now revealed Elmcreek offers players large fields and vast open space to build their farms on. Virtual farmers can look forward to numerous fields with varying shapes and sizes, authentically embedded in a scenic US landscape.

The authentic rural setting features rivers and underpasses in hilly areas, a gushing waterfall and a proper highway surrounded by a baseball stadium, huge grain silos, a gas station and other buildings shaping the skyline visible from the players’ expanding farmlands.

More information at FarmCon 21
More features and details will be revealed at FarmCon, the official and annual community event for modders, developers and players of the Farming Simulator series. FarmCon 21 streams live for several hours each day from July 21st to July 23rd.
