The firepower of the new Mortarship is mighty good at laying siege to island structures.
With front and rear mortar cannons that can rain death from a distance, the Mortarship is especially designed to deliver devastating siege firepower on land targets and buildings. Use these weapons wisely, as its low firing speed and slow mobility make them ineffective for ship-to-ship encounters; proper planning to protect these sailing cannons is essential, else you may find your hopes for victory – and your Mortarship – at the bottom of the sea.

• Advanced Shipyard: The new ship-building facility is found in the Smithy after learning the Expert Shipwright skill.
  • The Ramming Gallery, Majestic Kraken, and new Mortarship can be built with this shipyard.

• New Buff Icons: Atlantean Spire, Industrial Generator, and Army of the Damned Pylon effect indicators have been created when players are on boats that have a buff affecting them (icons are shown in the top right under the ships’ health).
• New Home Region Map: Revised look to the map.

FMV Game Receives Complete Restoration and Release with Additional Voice-work by Original Actor Timothy Bottoms 
 
DENVER, COLORADO (June 25, 2021) — Today, publisher of retro-and-modern games, Ziggurat Interactive announced the upcoming release of the previously unfinished Atari Jaguar Full-Motion-Video (FMV) game, American Hero, for multiple digital platforms, and an exclusive physical release through Limited Run Games this summer. This lost gem is a true product of its time, complete with sleazy dives, lovely ladies, a brain-washing villain, and Golden Globe Award nominee Timothy Bottoms as the lead. Ziggurat has worked with Empty Clip Studios to reengineer the game from the ground up, including Timothy Bottoms’ return to his starring role with all-new voiceover recordings to complete the original script.
 
“With American Hero, we sought to balance conservation of the project’s original vision with editorial restoration wherever game assets were incomplete,” said Matt Shores, CEO of Empty Clip Studios. “We feel that this was the best approach to resurrect the game and allow players a chance to experience a title that was never released to the public.”

Written in the 1990s, American Hero is a satire of over-the-top 80’s action films which has itself aged into a caricature of 90’s cinema. This ‘playable movie’ features the talents of professional actors, including Timothy Bottoms (The Last Picture Show, Elephant), Daniel Roebuck (The Fugitive, Final Destination), and Musetta Vander (O Brother, Where Art Thou, Wild Wild West).

“American Hero is a buried treasure from the Atari archives that was nearly lost to time after the Jaguar CD’s abrupt end,” said Michael Devine, SVP of Business Development at Ziggurat Interactive. “To be in a position to restore and complete this game, and preserve a unique part of video game history is exactly what Ziggurat is all about.”
 
In American Hero, players take on the role of former American intelligence officer Jack on a mission to stop the malicious virologist Krueger who plans to unleash a sinister virus upon the Los Angeles water supply. Players will face spur-of-the-moment decisions that will help or hinder Jack as he tries to protect the only scientist who has the cure for this deadly pathogen.

What is “Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World”? 

“Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World” is a horizontal scroll action RPG in which the original staff of the time re-created “Monster World IV”, which was developed by Westumbit Entertainment Co., Ltd. and released as a megadrive version in 1994 as the final work of the “Wonder Boy” series released by Sega Co., Ltd. (sega enterprises co., ltd.), under the leadership of Ryuichi Nishizawa, the parent of the series, was fully remade in a modern style.

The Story
This is Monster World. Asha, who has just become a warrior, is involved in a serious incident involving the kingdom’s existence. Four spirits were trapped by invaders who plotted to make this world their own. Asha, who was ordered by Queen Prapril to rescue the spirits, set out on an adventure with Peperogu, a mysterious creature she met in the royal city of Rapadana. Asha worked together with Peperogu to overcome various difficulties. Can they save this world?

This work features various actions using the mysterious creature “Peperogu”. You can enjoy the distinctive action prepared for each scene, such as gliding while holding on to Peperogu, jumping two steps, and pressing the switch at a remote position.

Defeat enemies you encounter along the way of your adventure and you’ll get GOLD. If you go to a store in the city, you can use this GOLD to purchase equipment items such as swords, shields, and bangles. Strengthen your Asha gear in preparation for increasingly strong enemies.

Get those rubber boots handy, as publisher Assemble Entertainment and developer SmokeStab are inviting you to get ankle-deep in blood and viscera in the latest update to their 360° roguelike shooter, Orbital Bullet. This update, titled “Fresh Meat,” brings a whole new biome to explore, enemies to kill, and an assortment of weapons and abilities to kill them with! That is, of course, if they don’t use their arsenal-bladed bloodletting gear to eliminate you first. There are also some new blood-spattered GIFs to whet your appetite ahead of your trip to the planet-wide abattoir used by those jerks at Dread Corp. to create their parasite-infected mutant super-soldiers! 

On the crimson-drenched planet Karth, the heinous Dread Corp. has built a manufacturing plant that would make even Jason Voorhees feel squeamish. Fresh Meat is the ultimate fusion of slaughterhouse and mad science laboratory, where unfortunate souls undergo brutal surgery, unwanted amputations, and are forcibly mutated with controlling parasites.
