SYDNEY, AUSTALIA – October 11, 2021 — Players can check out the world of Riders Republic™ on PC Play Day, available tomorrow October 12 at 6pm AEDT to October 13 at 6pm AEDT. During this time, players can freely access the game exclusively on Ubisoft Connect PC. Preload will be available today at 6pm AEDT.

The Riders Republic PC Play Day will give players access to all 5 career progressions, playable either in solo or PvP. Players will also be able to compete in all multiplayer modes:

• Mass Race: The crazier the better in these epic, multisport races with more than 50 players*. New races appear randomly on the map every 30 minutes, so players will need to get ready to watch their blind spots, protect their position and remain agile with their skills as they fight their way to the finish line. PC Play Day will feature up to 3 different Mass Races.
• Versus Mode: Players can join up with 5 friends in any career event and see who’s the very best.
• Tricks Battle: Players will compete in 6v6 matchups and try to land as many tricks as possible on the various modules to capture them and earn points. The team with the highest score wins.
• Free for All: In this mode, players can challenge up to 11 opponents and show them how it’s done through a select playlist of events.

Farming Life, a new farming game combining farm simulation, economic strategy and elements of builder games, will debut on PC as early as on October 18 this year. In this “farming SimCity”, the creators focused on varied and relaxing gameplay, while giving players a lot of freedom in running the farm.

The new farming game is being developed by the Polish studio Pyramid Games S.A., known for such games as Castle Flipper and Rover Mechanic Simulator. It will be published by Gaming Factory S.A. and Ultimate Games S.A.

Farming Life is a relaxing single-player farming game with isometric graphics, combining elements of a farm simulator, economic strategy (manager/tycoon) and builder games. The player’s goal is to restore the family farm to its former glory, and the title provides them with a lot of freedom when it comes to running it. It is the player who will decide, among others, how to develop the farm, what to invest in and what production branches to prioritise.

The different options for farming and breeding are quite diverse. Farming Life will not lack random events. The farmer’s life can be impacted by additional factors, for example an above-average rainfall or a fox hunting the farm animals. The creators have also prepared, among others, additional tasks that the player can carry out for the mayor and other residents, as well as elements of competing with other farms.

“Farming Life offers many different possibilities. Spatial planning of our farm, investing in buildings and equipment, planting vegetables, fruits and crops, animal husbandry or hiring and managing employees. These are just some examples of what will await the players. Farming Life is also to some extent a game similar to SimCity, although – instead of a city – our focus is, of course, on the farm. Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition and More Coming Soon – Plus Details on Upcoming Special Events and Updates in GTA Online

Later this month marks a very special anniversary for Rockstar Games: 20 years since the original release of Grand Theft Auto III — the game that set players loose in the sprawling, three-dimensional metropolis of Liberty City with a new and unprecedented sense of freedom and immersion. In addition to carving a new path for the open world genre, Grand Theft Auto III established Grand Theft Auto as a cultural phenomenon, alongside its two subsequent — and equally legendary — entries in the series, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

We are also continuing to improve and evolve GTA Online. As you may have noticed, we recently began cycling select Adversary Modes and Player Jobs in and out of the game. GTA Online offers a hugely diverse array of gameplay, hosting over 1,000 Rockstar-created Jobs and tens of millions more player-created Jobs since launch. By beginning to cycle the Rockstar-created Jobs in and out of the game over time, not only will we be freeing up space for new missions and modes in the future, but we are also improving the game’s matchmaking by focusing the community on a more streamlined list of Jobs from week-to-week.

This will also allow us to bring back Jobs at various times for special or seasonal events and help reduce some of the lesser-liked Jobs, as well as helping surface some of our slept-on classics or the community’s quirkier favorites alongside special bonuses, like this past week’s return of Offense Defense, Sumo, and more. 

We are also looking at ways to improve the GTA Online experience for new and returning players in the upcoming release of GTA Online for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S next March – stay tuned to the Rockstar Newswire for details on this and more information about the expanded and enhanced releases of GTAV and GTA Online in the months to come.

MONTRÉAL, CANADA (October 8, 2021) – Today, Eidos-Montréal debuted a new, unapologetically ‘80s music video to celebrate the official release of “Zero to Hero,” the second face-melting single from Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy’s Star-Lord Band. Both of the group’s singles are also featured on the official Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Original Video Game Playlist, which has also been released today.

Inspired by classic ‘80s cartoons, the animated music video amps up the nostalgia factor to 11 and gives viewers a taste of why superfan Peter Quill was inspired to adopt the “Star-Lord” moniker in the game’s universe. But that’s not all! Eidos-Montréal has also released a vintage VHS recording of the Star-Lord Band performing the single on stage in all their long-haired glory, and combined it with the animated music video to create a headbangin’ extended cut.

Including the Star-Lord Band’s “Zero to Hero” and “Space Riders with No Names,” the Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Original Video Game Playlist features 30 iconic licensed tracks from legendary artists such as Mötley Crüe, Bonnie Tyler, Billy Idol, Pat Benetar, Def Leppard, BLONDIE, and many more.
