Banish Traffic with New Halo-themed Waze Content

When you’re in a rush to save the galaxy from extinction there’s nothing worse than getting caught in traffic. While Halo’s iconic Warthog can simply go around roadblocks thanks to its rugged off-road capabilities and a Banished Ghost can utilize its anti-gravity pads to take the most direct route, now the rest of us can arrive in style thanks to a new global partnership between Xbox’s Halo Infinite and the navigation app Waze. Starting today, drivers around the world can access a brand-new Waze experience that allows them to drive with vehicles and characters straight from the Halo universe.

Upon selecting the Halo theme, drivers can choose their side: the UNSC or the Banished. Those siding with humanity and the UNSC will have their in-app car replaced with the Warthog and will have their trip navigated by none other than the Master Chief himself, and even select him as their Waze profile “Mood.” Drivers embracing their more rebellious side can choose the Banished, Halo Infinite’s enemy faction. They’ll have their in-app car replaced with a Ghost, get their navigation audio from the Banished war chief, Escharum, and an Escharum “Mood” to let others on the road know which side they’ve chosen.

Access the first ever video game-themed experience on Waze to choose your faction, and your drives will take on a decidedly Halo flavor. Or open the Waze app, tap “My Waze” and select the Halo banner to activate the experience. Keep in mind: some business owners agree to these sorts of arrangements — others might require the use of force instead of cool-headed persuasion.

A new gameplay trailer was released, giving out more details on the expansion’s contents

Rotterdam, The Netherlands – 3 August 2021 – The recently announced map expansion for trucking experience Truck Driver ‘Heading North’ is launching on September 14th for PlayStation®4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. Publisher SOEDESCO confirmed this today with a new gameplay trailer, giving out more details on the expansion’s contents.

The new gameplay trailer that was dropped today shows several things that are new to the trucking experience. Next to the already teased scenery in the previous map teaser that has been shown, this trailer shows new types of cargo, like a giant fish bone statue, generators and new types of construction materials. The trailer also shows that players can now go off-road anywhere they like, which isn’t possible in most trucking games currently out there. Finally, the trailer also shows a shot of an AI truck passing by, which means that at least in this new map, AI trucks will be present next to the existing AI vehicle models.

CD PROJEKT RED today announced that both Price of Power: Thanedd Coup and the 6th season of Journey have arrived in GWENT: The Witcher Card Game!

Thanedd Coup is the second installment of the Price of Power expansion set, and focuses on the historic, violent clash between mages of the North and mages of Nilfgaard which took place during a conclave on Thanedd Island. The expansion, which brings 26 new cards, as well as new tactics for players to utilize, comes to GWENT today alongside the latest title update, and is now available across all supported platforms.

The sixth season of Journey — GWENT’s progression system — is also available from today, and will run for the coming 3 months, allowing players to unlock over 100 levels of rewards. In line with previous Journeys, this season features both a free tier — where players can earn avatars and reward points — as well as a Premium tier. The story focus for Season 6 is on Aretuza — the magical academy located on Thanedd Island. Alongside new weekly quests, players will be able to learn more about the school through the perspective of Alissa, a student of Aretuza, as a new entry of her diary is made available each week of the Journey’s duration.

By playing and completing quests in the Premium version of Journey, players will be able to earn over 80 rewards, including Card Kegs, avatars, coins, cardbacks, and titles — as well as 8 brand new game boards. In addition, this latest season of Journey also introduces a new vanity item to GWENT in the form of music tracks. There are 9 tracks available to unlock right now by progressing in the Premium tier for Season 6 of Journey.
