The Debut Adventure From Icelandic Studio Myrkur Games Also Receives Free Update

Reykjavik, Iceland – 17^th February 2026. Echoes of the End, the debut title from Icelandic studio Myrkur Games, arrives on Sony’s PlayStation Plus subscription service today alongside a brand-new update adding a photo mode and Valentine’s themed outfits.

The action-adventure will be available on PlayStation Plus for the next year for Extra and Premium subscribers.

First released in August 2025 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (Steam), Echoes of the End is a magical adventure that introduces Myrkur Games as a new voice in creative storytelling. Towards the end of 2025, the team released the Enhanced Edition of Echoes of the End, a free overhaul full of improvements and features players had been requesting following the game’s initial launch back in August. These included faster pacing, reworked animations, new difficulty levels, equipment, and more, which caused steam reviews to jump to 85% positive since the overhaul’s release.
