Farm, Trade, and Adventure with Friends in gamigo’s upcoming mobile sim, Fantasy Town

Hamburg, September 30th, 2021 – gamigo and Arumgames are announcing the upcoming release of Fantasy Town, a mobile farming sim featuring a mix of exploration, RPG, and adventure game mechanics. Players can build their town, produce and farm crops, trade goods, explore, and defend their citizens from evil Trolls bent on causing harm and havoc from time to time. 

In Fantasy Town, the player takes on the role of a Lord who is convinced to learn how to govern Arsendal, reluctantly. With the Citizens of the land relying on him to help it flourish, the player will construct, manage, and upgrade various buildings, farmland, crops and more. As resources are harvested, they can be traded to keep the city prosperous and the citizens happy. Farm for corn, raise various livestock, and create mouth-watering delicacies that are sure to be the talk of the town!

While your town works to gather various materials, players can summon various citizens to explore diverse places and dungeons in search of special resources. Earn new recipes, battle against bosses, and earn treasure while discovering new lands and creatures. Fantasy Town also holds events regularly that reward participants that include several minigames, such as puzzles, runners, and building a tower using various in-game items. Other fun features include character customization, different town skins, a lucky roulette wheel, and more.

MONTRÉAL, CANADA (October 7, 2021) – Today, Eidos-Montréal released a brand-new video cutscene for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, which features an interaction between Cosmo the space dog, the Guardians and a lot of adorable puppies. In the cutscene, which takes place within his base on Knowhere, Cosmo chases his tail, plays fetch and growls menacingly at Rocket, all while discussing a shared interest in getting to the bottom of the latest galactic mysteries with Star-Lord.

A very, very good boy with a lot in his doggie dish, Cosmo is a former Soviet space dog currently serving as both Knowhere’s Chief of Security and father to a litter of Russian space puppies. Utilizing a combination of psionic and telepathic abilities that allow him to communicate with humans, raccoons and trees, Cosmo will prove an invaluable ally to the Guardians throughout their travels to the deepest, darkest corners of space.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will be available on PlayStation®5 console, PlayStation®4 console, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles, PC, and streaming via GeForce NOW on October 26, 2021. Time-bending hardcore strategy action hybrid Timemelters is fully funded on Kickstarter

Rewind time and play alongside your past selves. Plan out unique strategies and use multiplayer mechanics, all while playing solo – or co-op!

Montreal, Canada – October 7th, 2021 – Autoexec Games’ upcoming time-bending action-RTS hybrid Timemelters has met its Kickstarter goal, allowing the developers to expand on the game’s scope. This means Autoexec can fund extra features, such as a Challenge Mode that offers extra replay value. Voice acting, extra language options, more playable characters, controller support, and even console ports, should fans smash those stretch goals prior to the Kickstarter campaign ending in 48 hours on October 9th.

Those who pledge will receive rewards including their name in the game’s credits, beta tests, and even the ability to come up with and name a Steam Achievement. By getting involved now, players are afforded an opportunity to leave feedback on what changes they’d like to see.

Timemelters is an indie game where you can rewind time and play alongside your past selves. It allows you to plan out crazy never-before-seen strategies and use multiplayer game mechanics (aggro, support, etc.) all while playing solo. And if that’s not wild enough, the entire 20-mission campaign is playable in two-player co-op!

Directed by Sang-Froid: Tales of Werewolves co-creator Vincent Blanchard, Timemelters is a completely original action-RTS hybrid that puts players in the role of Teagan, a witch trying to stop a mysterious undead uprising from taking over her village in the dark and corrupted land of Hogendale, which is loosely inspired by the events that occurred in Scotland in the 16th century. Playing from a behind the shoulder third-person perspective, you’re given a host of magical powers ranging from rewinding time to play alongside your past self, raising the dead, recruiting trees to wallop foes, erecting walls, blasting baddies with energy beams, and setting portals to teleport around the map. 

Timemelters hosts a huge menagerie of strategic powers that combine immediate third-person character action games with RTS and tower defense gameplay, as you zip around the map setting up defenses using a mix of AI companions, mind-controlled foes, and echoes of your past self. Song in the Smoke utilizes VR to its full potential, allowing players to expertly identify threats with sound, sight, and smell. Killsquad Brings Intense Four-player Co-op Action To PC On October 21st

Twin-stick shooting, character customisation and heaps of loot roll out on a wave of Early Access success

Barcelona, Spain – October 7th, 2021 – Novarama are thrilled to announce that Killsquad will be leaving Early Access for a full release on October 21st. This landmark signals a remarkable turnaround for the four-player co-op action title, with Novarama’s unwavering commitment to its community turning a less-than-ideal Early Access start into a stunning success, with plenty more planned post-release.

Killsquad offers frantic, skill-oriented action that can be enjoyed solo or with up to four-friends in co-op. With elements that draw on twin-stick shooters, hack and slash, dungeon crawlers and bullet hell, its unique brand of gameplay creates intense encounters across five planets with hordes of alien enemies and epic bosses.

Character customisation is an important part of Killsquad, starting with its five hero classes, each with their own unique weapons and skills. As you progress through the game, powerful upgrades can be acquired for those skills, and you can spend your hard-earned bounty from successfully completed contracts on new weapons and gear. Then there’s the cavalcade of loot that can be levelled up to provide powerful passive bonuses. That’s all to say that there are a lot of ways for players to define their own playstyle.

Originally hitting early access in 2019, Killsquad has been supported through a sometimes difficult development process only made more complicated by the disruption of the Covid-19 pandemic. Determined to deliver on its commitment to quality and give its community a game that meets the high standards it sets for itself, Novarama pledged that it would not give up on Killsquad and would only release it when players deemed it ready. With the game enjoying 80+ Steam review scores in every month of 2021, that time is October 21st.

However, that doesn’t mean the journey is over. Novarama have big plans to continue supporting Killsquad post-release and look forward to sharing more details on what the game’s content roadmap looks like in the near future.

WORLD OF WARSHIPS LAUNCHES GERMAN BATTLESHIPS INTO EARLY ACCESS AND PREPARES FOR HALLOWEEN FESTIVITIES

October 7th – World of Warships has launched an explosive new update packed with new features, including limited time themed events for the ghoulish Halloween season, as well as the arrival of a fleet of new German battleships.

Take to the seas aboard all-new German Battleships

With the ‘German Battleships: Part One’ event, a sweep of Tier III-IX German battleships hit Early Access, from the WWI-serving BB Von der Tann to the Tier IX Prinz Rupprecht. Armed with lethally precise main battery guns and a gamut of long-ranged secondary battery guns, consumables include Hydroacoustic Search, as well as Fast Damage Control Team with a limited number of charges. From Tier VII upwards, ships will also come fitted with torpedo tubes.

Tiers III-IX of these powerful vessels will be available within sequential bundles in exchange for German Tokens, a new temporary resource earned through taking part in the Personal Challenges event or obtainable from the Armory. The port of Hamburg has also been spruced up in honour of the update. 

And going once, going twice! Coming up for auction will be early access to the Tier X Schlieffen, starting at 1,000 doubloons. More details about the dates and rules of the auction will be announced further into the update.

Trick or treat with new and returning game modes

The temporary battle type, Twilight Hunt, makes a ghostly entrance in this update from 20/21 October, pitting 16 players both against each other and the AI-controlled Twilight Fleet in the Polygon map. The aim is to earn as many Battle Points as possible by destroying the enemy armada, led by the fearsome boss ship Rasputin. Hop aboard the monster ships Fangblade, Thornridge, and Lobster-Eyed for the spookiest experience! 

From the start and until the end of the update, old favourites Operation Saving Transylvania and Sunray in Darkness will be making a grand comeback.

More game-changing additions

In Personal Challenges, players must fill out the mission requirements of each personal records table to progress onto the next part and bring in those juicy rewards – coal and German Tokens, that can be used to obtain new German battleships plus a host of camouflages and flags. 

Submarines will also be available for rental in random battles to test this class in a live environment with their new balance changes.
