Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Reveals Year 6 Season 4 High Calibre

Rainbow Six Siege welcomes Thorn, an Irish Operator, and a rework of the Outback map amongst many updates

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA — November 9, 2021 — Today, Ubisoft® revealed High Calibre, the fourth and final season of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow SixSiege Year 6. This new season includes a new Operator, Thorn, coming from Ireland and equipped with Razorbloom Shells and bearing a brand-new weapon, the UZK50Gi, in addition to the reworked Outback map and many other updates.

In High Calibre, players will discover a brand-new Defender, Thorn, equipped with Razorbloom Shells: throwable proximity devices that, once triggered, initiate a timed detonation. If enemy players don’t get out of the area of effect in time, they will receive damage at the end of the fuse timer. Thorn is a medium speed, medium armour Operator who can be equipped with either the new UZK50Gi or the M870 as primary weapon and with the 1911 TACOPS or the C75-AUTO as secondary weapon.

In addition, the Outback map has been rebuilt to improve balancing and player comfort. Both the main building and its exterior have been modified to allow the Attackers to create and execute more effective strategies. In addition, new exterior soft walls have been added to the building, and some areas have been refurbished and cleaned up to remove junk and provide better lines of sight and balance.

Additional updates coming with High Calibre include:

  • Choosing team colors between blue, orange or red
  • Balancing updates (Finka, Echo and Mozzie’s drones, bulletproof cameras update, new rule for cameras placed outdoors)
  • New customisation features on Operators’ Cards, victory dances, colors and more.
  • New HUD
  • New version of the Streamer Mode soft launch for a limited number of creators is coming during the season

The Test Server for High Calibre will go live on November 10. The Test Server format has been updated and will now be open at three separate times throughout the season and content will be split into three different releases: the seasonal release TS which contains the content that will be shipped with the season, the Lab TS release which includes experimental content that will be used to test features in early production, and the TS balancing release which contains the Operator and other balancing changes.

Players are invited to submit the issues they encounter on the Test Server on the updated R6 Fix platform here. This new platform is now easier to navigate in and offers new features such as the search feature or the possibility for players to track updates on bugs they report for more transparency.

In addition, players can earn twice as many Battle Pass points from November 12 to November 15.

New stars take centre stage in the World of Tanks ANZ Premier League Finals

First-time finalists go head-to-head in Season Three Finals

9th November 2021 – Two brand new contenders have overcome the odds to make it to the World of Tanks ANZ Premier League Season 3 grand final this November 13th. The Melbourne Matildas and Perth Panthers will both be making their grand finals debut as they compete for the title of ANZ Premier League Season Three Champions.

Season Three has proven to be the most unpredictable and riveting season yet, full of upsets and underdog storylines. The Perth Panthers are writing their own Cinderella story, sneaking into the playoffs on the very last day of the regular season, before shocking the back-to back defending ANZPL champions, the North Sydney Sentinels, in a dominant 4-2 victory in the semi-finals.

For both teams, this grand final represents the culmination of a significant turnaround. For the Matildas, who placed last in Season One of the Premier League, this season has been all about making good on the progress and promise they had shown in Season 2.

For the Panthers, making it to the finals is a massive coup. This team was bottom of the ladder in Season Two and looked to be heading in a similar direction until very late into the season until a climactic ending.

World of Tanks ANZ Product Manager, Jake Truman, believes that Season Three has been the most surprising and captivating season yet, in no small part because of the Panthers dramatic final day clinching of a playoff spot at the expense of South Australian team, Adelaide Action X.

“This  will be a genuine East Coast vs. West Coast finale with both teams hungry for the win. We expect plenty of star power as well, with three of the five Fantasy League ‘Team of the Season’ players playing for the Matildas or Panthers,” said Jake.

The winners will receive a cash prize of AUD$10,000, seven noblechairs Hero Black edition gaming chairs and seven HyperX custom ANZPL Alloy Origins 60 keyboards.

Second place winners will receive a cash prize of AUD$5,000 and seven HyperX custom ANZPL Alloy Origins 60 keyboards.

World of Tanks is hosting a free watch party for fans at Fortress Melbourne. There will be giveaways, exclusive themed drinks, a World of Tanks PC set up and more. Anyone who attends with a registered ticket can win one of multiple prizes including noblechairs Epic TX gaming chairs, $50 Ironside Coffee Co. vouchers, ANZPLs loot boxes as well as some Premium Vehicles such as the Type 62 and Type 59.

World of Warships: Legends announce Warhammer 40,000 collaboration and new British Aircraft Carriers

8 November 2021 World of Warships: Legends has packed their November update with a bombardment of new content. It all starts off with the new Origin of Wisdom campaign, new branch of aircraft carriers, Russian battleships leaving Early Access and the next installation of the Warhammer 40,000 collaboration!

Origin of Wisdom Campaign

This all-new campaign spans 6 weeks and 120 milestones, across two 3-week updates. The Origin of Wisdom campaign brings two new ships, the Tier IV French destroyer Siroco, sporting effective HE shells at milestone 40, and the Tier VII German cruiser Mainz at milestone 120, which features powerful guns and sonar capabilities. Players won’t need to choose the reward: both ships will be available with active Admiralty Backing once the campaign has been completed in full.

The legendary Royal Navy brings its wings!

One of the most important naval forces of WWII arrives on the legendary seas: it’s time to attack with Swordfishes and Barracudas from the decks of British aircraft carriers! The new tech tree line features three ships: Tier III Hermes, Tier V Furious and Tier VII Implacable, with a special aircraft carrier Commander, Denis Boyd, available from the first hours of the update. Carpet bombings and numerous torpedoes are ready to be unleashed!

White-hot Fury meets mighty Waaagh!

Part two of this collaboration with Warhammer 40,000 arrives in World of Warships: Legends, with two new ships. The Cross of Dorn of the Black Templar’s Space Marines and Ship Smasha of the Orks have arrived and are each equipped with dedicated Commanders; also available in this update are themed camos, flags and patches, as well as dedicated Eternal war crates that contain a whole self of goods.

Alternative Russian cruisers available for everyone

The Tier IV Kotovsky, Tier V Gorky and Tier VI Tallinn Soviet cruisers are all made available as the tech tree branch departs from Early Access. These ships are equipped with flat ballistics, sonar, and respectable torpedoes, making them good all-rounders at every tier. At the forefront of this range available in this update is the Tier VII Riga, which boasts impressive 8.7 inch (220mm) guns.

Last, and certainly not least, especially for competitive players, come three Ranked seasons. Battles will take place with Tier V, VI and VII ships depending on the season, with no Arms Race mechanic and no aircraft carriers whatsoever.
