Gaijin Entertainment is excited to unveil Star Wrath, a multiplayer extraction-action game set on the outskirts of a destroyed solar system where spaceships fight over resources and collect DNA samples from the best pilots. Starting today, players can add the game to their wishlist on Steam and sign up for the closed beta at the official website. The beta is now live.
In Star Wrath, players build and customize their own modular spacecraft, head out on high-risk raids, battle in PvE and PvP encounters, and fight to escape with whatever loot they can carry. Every expedition is a gamble: hide in the deadly nebulae, ambush unsuspecting rivals, and survive intense dogfights powered by realistic physics and an advanced damage system. Every part of the ship — from outer hulls to internal modules — can be destroyed, affecting performance and survivability in real time.
Each pilot in Star Wrath has a unique set of skills that can change the course of battle. To unlock and level up them, the player edits the DNA of their pilot, and samples of the most successful combinations can be harvested from the bodies of fallen enemies. Therefore, in Star Wrath’s risky space battles, you can lose not only your ship and equipment, but also a piece of yourself.
Anyone can apply for the beta by logging in with a Gaijin.Net account and filling out a short form. Invitations will be sent out in waves. For those seeking guaranteed access, Founder’s Packs are available now, each granting immediate entry to the beta along with exclusive content — unique ship blueprints, advanced modules, powerful weapons, and unique cosmetic items. There are four bundles available for different combat roles: scout, sniper, tank, and a bundle with three ships and keys for friends.

Upcoming open-world adventure bewitches Steam Next Fest
Stockholm, Sweden (February 19, 2025) – Envar Games has proudly launched the Steam Next Fest demo for their magical adventure Witchspire, following the game’s latest playtest which saw more than 85,000 players granted access. The demo will be part of Steam Next Fest (February 23 – March 2), as the open-world survival-lite prepares to release in Early Access on PC this year.
Watch the Witchspire demo trailer:
In the Witchspire demo, you’ll team up with up to three friends as you find yourselves thrown into the wondrous world of the game’s starting island. Together, you’ll use your basic witchcraft skills to log forests, battle magical enemies and craft a starter home.
Like any good witch, in the demo you’ll start with one of two familiars. These creatures you’re bonded with can help you with tasks, in combat, or just keep you company. As you venture into the wilds you’ll discover a wide variety of creatures you can collect and befriend, each one with unique abilities that can help you on your journey.
More of a homebody? Not to worry, the demo is fully kitted out with everything you need to build a starter cabin complete with a mossy roof, including the ability to astral-project yourself while building, enjoying free placement of walls, windows and furnishings.
The Witchspire demo promises wonder and excitement, asking players ‘What would happen if this situation involved magic?’
Fans of farming and automation will have to wait until the Early Access launch, but we’ll have plenty more to show of the game before then.
“We’re really excited to invite players to check out Witchspire for the first time! It’s a little nerve-wracking putting out a demo for a game prior to entering Early Access but we can’t wait to let players get their hands on it,” said Liam O’Neill, Head of Envar Games.
“We’ve already had lots of valuable feedback from the recent closed playtest and are excited to open up to even more people. Returning players will be able to discover new game content such as visiting a mysterious creature named ‘Peb.’ As a final note, if you dare venture into the portal in the ancient ruins then we wish you the best of luck!”
Features of the Witchspire Demo:
Turn beasties into besties with creature collecting gameplay, as you collect familiars to team up with you in battle. Two starter familiars will be available in the demo version, with more at the Early Access launch.
Travel has never been easier with magic, you’ll be able to do so much more with abilities such as spirit jumps, and blinks to wave and dodge.
Define what sort of spellcaster you’d like to be, with an entire cosmos of customization options. In the demo, you’ll progress up to Level 7 and choose from one of two Covens.
Design a base for you, your friends, and your familiars to hang out in. Using astral projection to move around, you’ll never need to build a makeshift ramp, or cobble together a random staircase to get to hard-to-reach places or to get your window placement just right. The demo features limited Hearth progression and the basic building kit.
You can play the demo for Witchspire right now on PC via Steam, with an Early Access launch planned for this year.

Two new demo modes arrive for ‘game dev simulator meets RPG builder’ from the creators of Let’s Build a Zoo
FEBRUARY 19, SINGAPORE – Independent developer Springloaded has revealed an expanded Steam Next Fest demo for its upcoming game development simulator Let’s Build a Dungeon as the title passes 160,000 wishlists and confirms a 2026 release. The demo is available to play now, ahead of the launch of Steam Next Fest on February 23rd. Let’s Build a Dungeon is coming to Steam and Xbox in 2026 and is available to wishlist now on Steam.
For the first time, players are invited to try three of Let’s Build a Dungeon’s distinct game modes: Campaign Mode, Just Build Mode and Creative Mode as part of Steam Next Fest.
While Campaign Mode offers a structured studio management experience, Just Build Mode and Creative Mode open up more flexible ways to design and experiment with creating custom RPG worlds. The Creative Mode demo provides a suite of game making tools including a character creation tool, conversation editor and everything needed to make a custom RPG.
The new Steam Next Fest Demo includes:
Campaign Mode – An in-depth game development simulation combining studio management, RPG creation and hands-on playtesting
Just Build Mode – A streamlined, low-pressure world-building experience powered by a relaxing deck-building system
Creative Mode – An open sandbox packed with accessible game-making tools and full creative control
Twitch Integration – Multiple options for collaborations, including inviting chat into the game as virtual players and letting them vote on key studio decisions
Manage a Studio in Campaign Mode
In Campaign Mode, players take charge of their own studio in a deep game development simulation. Hire and fire staff, manage investor expectations and make difficult morality-driven decisions around employee overtime, monetisation and microtransactions.
The Steam Next Fest demo challenges players to build a fantasy world for a horde of virtual beta-testers, featuring branching quest paths, shop inventory management and playtesting the custom RPG they’ve created. The looming in-game beta closure marks a pivotal moment for the game studio, inspired by iconic real-life events from Ultima Online’s development involving Lord British. Every choice matters as the future of the studio hangs in the balance.
Build Without Pressure in Just Build Mode
As a Steam Next Fest exclusive, players can try Just Build Mode – a low-pressure world-building experience focused purely on creativity.
Just Build Mode strips away the business management layers of Campaign Mode to deliver a streamlined, creative sandbox. Using a relaxing deck-building system, players select quest cards, asset packs and marketing boosts to help their RPG grow into the next big hit.
The Steam Next Fest demo supports solo play, while the full release will introduce online multiplayer that allows up to four friends to create together and vote on how their shared game is brought to life.
Unleash Your Imagination in Creative Mode
Playable for the first time since its reveal, Creative Mode is a powerful game-making playground built around accessible development tools. This open sandbox allows players to write their own stories, craft dialogue, design characters and fine-tune gameplay mechanics to build the perfect RPG.
In this new demo, players will learn to use Creative Tools to create a custom world using thousands of included buildings, decorations and NPCs. Budding developers can also draw their own custom sprites and assets, giving complete freedom to bring any idea to life.
Let’s Build a Dungeon is available to wishlist now on Steam and is coming to PC and Xbox in 2026 in partnership with Kowloon Nights. Springloaded are inviting players to sign up for updates over at https://letsbuildadungeon.com/newsletter/ .
Players of Let’s Build a Dungeon take charge as both Game Designer and CEO in a bid to develop the greatest MMORPG the world has ever seen. Design quests, balance loot drops, hire (and fire) your team, and market your game to win over customers. This multi-layered management sim meets RPG builder is a true-to-life depiction of what it takes to run a fledgling game studio, with various game modes to suit every player.
The newly released Next Fest demo is available to play now on Steam.
