The Sandbox Partners with DanceFight to Bring Epic Dance Battles to the Metaverse

Players Will Be Able to Incorporate Moves from Top Dancers, Including the Kangsta Wok, to Showcase Their Skills in a Community-Driven Space Where Collaboration Meets Competition

HONG KONG – Feb 09, 2022 – The Sandbox, a leading decentralized gaming virtual world and a subsidiary of Animoca Brands, announced today that it has partnered with DanceFight, the world’s leading dance battle app, to bring the authentic DanceFight experience to its own dedicated LAND in The Sandbox. This collaboration will bring head-to-head street dance competitions to the gaming metaverse for the first time, allowing players to fully express their dance skills. 

Inclusivity and safety have always been the focus of DanceFight competitions do not include comments, vote totals or “like” counts to mitigate social pressure – and the ethos of creating a safe space for expression and creation will carry through in the metaverse. Unlike any other social experience in the market, DanceFight is purely about head-to-head competition where the community votes for the winner. By transforming DanceFight battles from IRL videos to 3D dance-offs featuring player avatars, The Sandbox will foster the inclusive culture of street dancing in its open metaverse. In partnership with The Sandbox, the DanceFight team will create a dance venue in their LAND, pulsing with live dance battles, events, and music. This will be a space where dancers of all skill levels, backgrounds and countries come together to connect, collab, practice, battle, and add dimension to their craft.

Through the partnership, dance creators will now be able to monetize their personal dance moves as NFT animations players can purchase and apply to their own avatar in The Sandbox, instantly becoming a next-level dance battler. Dancers well-known to the DanceFight community, such as Slim Boogie, Arsenal, Pumpkin, Jon Gifted, Enerjae, Jesse Sykes, as well as KANG FRVR (Isaiah Sosho), the epic dancer known for creating the massive Kangsta Wok dance phenomenon, are already onboard.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Revealed for September Release

Nintendo and Monolith Soft have announced that five years after the arrival of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 fans of the series will finally be getting a new game as the action RPG will have a new entry releasing later this year in September. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will place players into the roles of protagonists Noah and Mio amid turmoil between the hostile nations of Keves and Agnus. Six characters hailing from those nations will take part in a grand tale with “life” as its central theme.

A number of screenshots and the reveal trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 can be found below, giving us a brief preview of the game’s English dub which will once again have its own unique flavoring to it that has become something of a signature for the series as a whole.

Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition Arrives April 7

Square Enix has revealed that they are planning on bringing Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition to the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Switch, and PC as a digital exclusive on April 7th.

This slightly enhanced version of the PlayStation 1 classic will feature a number of improvements such as 3D models that have been converted to high definition, brand new artwork, refined background music, the ability to switch enemy encounters on and off, auto battle, various battle enhancement features, and the inclusion of the never before released in the West Radical Dreamers.

Players will be able to choose between the newly improved graphics as well as swap back to the classic original should they choose. A trailer and various screenshots showing off the game can be found below.

Sydney, Australia, 9th February 2022 | The Chorus soundtrack is out now and discoverable on over 35 different global music streaming services including Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music and YouTube, featuring 26 immersive classical creations.

Composer Pedro Camacho worked together with Deep Silver FISHLABS’s audio director Philipp Muckenfuss, estimating over 180 minutes were produced; the music was created alongside the game’s development over nearly two years, from the first sketches to the final stage.

Classically trained, Pedro created his first musical composition at the age of 10 and has worked on soundtracks for A Vampyre Story, Civilization 5, Witcher 3, Star Citizen, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and World of Warcraft: Shadowlands.

The atmospheric soundtrack, composed completely remotely, is a truly global project with Pedro in Portugal as main composer, the lead vocalist Úyanga Bold in the United States but from Mongolia, additional music by Alex Pfeffer in Germany, one synth designer in France, another in South Asia but from the UK, the orchestra in Bulgaria and the audio director in Germany, at Deep Silver FISHLABS.

Forest Grove’s Lifts its Red Tape for Investigators in Q3 2023
