The 1.0 update adds new locations, new vehicles, and a new Survivor Mode feature called the “Transport Phonebooth.” Survivor Mode has also been expanded with new side quests and bank foreclosure “problems.” Players can also discover a new Survivor Mode ending featuring a puzzle to solve, alongside numerous fixes and improvements across the island.

Games Done Quick’s women and femmes winter speedrunning event takes place March 8-14

March 5, 2026 — Games Done Quick’s women and femmes winter speedrunning event, Frost Fatales, returns March 8-14, streaming live on Twitch and YouTube.

Led by Frame Fatales, GDQ’s women- and femmes-focused speedrunning community, the event brings together runners from around the world for a showcase of skill while raising funds for the National Women’s Law Center, a nonprofit fighting for gender justice for women and girls.

This year’s packed schedule features an assortment of games, including Red Dead Redemption 2, PEAK, Super Mario Odyssey, Silent Hill f, Resident Evil 3 Remake, and many more. The full schedule is available here.
