Or beat it out of them? Choose wisely – the consequences are part of the fun!
Ramshackle Props – The starter building tier is now Ramshackle. Offering quick and cheap shelter, Ramshackle Props are not worth much and may crumble from a dirty look by an enemy, but are useful in a pinch.

Bristol UK – 5th April 2022. Trolley Problem, Inc., a darkly comedic philosophical adventure which judges players on their awful choices, will be launching onto PC on 21April 2022.
Described by Forbes as “2022’s most important game…” Trolley Problem, Inc. is a deeply thoughtful and thoroughly awful narrative game which pressures players into making decisions based on genuine philosophical problems and then judges them – and the world.
See the Trolley Problem, Inc. launch datetrailer here:
With scenarios that challenge opinions on vaccinations, war, immigration, corporate espionage, religion… even the nature of decision making itself, Trolley Problem, Inc. will take players on a journey that could ultimately change how they view the world, themselves and ultimately the concept of free will.
Players are initially assessed as new recruits to Trolley Problem, Inc. – their suitability for employment determined through some initial introductory problem solving which only affects the lives of a few people and a dog. Two choices are offered – then a countdown begins. Pick the option you feel is right – but justifying your decisions to any family or friends watching you? Well, that’s your problem.
Oh, and Dead Ringers, SpittingImage and Skins actor Jan Ravens will be the one questioning all your choices by the way. No pressure.
“Everything is awful at the moment,” says Samuel Read-Graves, developer of Trolley Problem, Inc. “so what better way to take your mind off that fact by playing something which will make you feel worse? Trolley Problem, Inc. presents some genuinely testing and morally challenging scenarios based on philosophical problems and has been designed to spark debate in a format only possible through videogames. The journey isn’t entirely bleak – there are moments that I hope will make players laugh out loud – but ultimately, it’s a game about making hard choices and discovering more about yourself and how your moral compass compares with the rest of the world.”
Trolley Problem, Inc. features:
55 intensely thought-provoking multiple-choice questions across a 90-minute playtime
Streamer mode allows content creators to engage with a live viewing audience
Multiple profiles allow local players to compare and discuss their choice – whilst global statistics reflect the choices players across the world have made
References to the original philosophical papers
A host of unlockables to discover throughout the game
The strangest ‘Achievements’ ever featured in a video game
Voice acting by Dead Ringers, Spitting Image and Skins actor, Jan Ravens
Support in 10 different languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Arabic
Trolley Problem, Inc. can be wishlisted on Steam now and is currently part of the London Games Festival, listed under ‘Games Are Good for You’.
Trolley Problem, Inc. will be available on PC on 21 April 2022 priced at £8.99 / $10.99 / €10.99. It has been developed by ReadGraves and will be published by Yogscast Games.

Kickstarter hit puts player focused RPG on track for 2023 launch
Berlin, Germany, 5th April 2022: Developer Twin Drums recently entered the closed alpha test phase for its Afro-Fantasy, Role Playing focused MMORPG, The Wagadu Chronicles.
Inspired by the popularity explosion in tabletop gaming – and further validated by the difficulties faced trying to bring together a party during the pandemic – The Wagadu Chronicles presets a strictly “role-play first” focus to create a welcoming space for role-players and those who are learning role-play by way of proactive, thought-through moderation.
The Wagadu Chronicles – the Role-Play-first Afrofantasy MMORPG brings back the “role-play” to the genre. A magnificent African-inspired RPG where NPC’s are actually other players, The Wagadu Chronicles invites players to immerse themselves in a unique fantasy setting where every character from sorcerer to sailor is invested in their character and acts accordingly to the lore of their people and craft. Explore and participate in an ever-changing world, where land and status will evolve and change over time. Adapt and develop alongside the world and its inhabitants in an MMORPG experience with uniquely developed skill trees, village management and craft systems built to create rich characters full of memories and quirks which can impact the world and ecosystem in little and large ways.
With its roots in the mythology, peoples and geology of the African continent, drawing references from many African nations including Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Mali, Congo and Kenya the game sets out to not only create a safe-space away from the aggressive, combat focus of many player driven MMORPG worlds but also to address an imbalance the developers saw in a genre over-saturated with Euro and Asian-centric fantasy.
“We wish there wasn’t something special about the Wagadu Chronicles, but unfortunately in this world there is” commented Allan Cudicio, founder of Twin Drums and the game’s Lead Designer. “Wagadu’s fantasy world is influenced by African pre-colonial cultures. It’s definitely a pan-African game, with a strong focus on sub-saharan Africa and significant influences from diasporas. Our thought process was similar to Tolkien when he created Middle Earth: we delved deep into many, many cultures around the continent and blended it with fairy-tale & fantasy elements. This enabled us to create a world that we see as truly unique in games today.”
Diversity and moving away from the ethnonationalism typical to many MMORPG titles is key to the philosophy behind The Wagadu Chronicles – a player’s culture and, to a degree, their role-play priorities aren’t tied to their physical appearance. A horned “Swala” woman, rather than belonging to a stereotypical Herder culture, might belong to a death-worshiping Lunar culture – the only way to know is to role-play and ask! Players can freely match any lineage with any culture, coming up with a vast array of interesting role-playing combinations.
This high degree of customisation also gives the freedom for characters to not be strictly divided in classes but rather created from a variety of skills that can be leveled up individually. Do you want to be a swashbuckling fisher or a wizard-smith-farmer? You got it!
The Wagadu Chronicles was successfully funded on Kickstarter back in 2019 as well as attracting attention, and investment, from Riot Games as part of their Underrepresented Founders Program.

Founded in 2019 by African-European Allan Cudicio, Twin Drums is the game development studio behind “The Wagadu Chronicles”: a role-play focused, afro-fantasy sandbox MMORPG. Our mission is to bring African inspired content into videogames and to balance what makes old classics engaging with the innovations of our industry. To achieve this, our work-philosophy revolves around having diverse people in the team, providing a flexible work environment and rigorous planning that allows us to maintain a healthy work-life balance. We are in for the long term and we are excited about the future of games. Renaissance PR for Twin Drums
Over the past weeks, Wargaming has been conducting a strategic review of business operations worldwide. The company has decided it will not own or operate any businesses in Russia and Belarus and will leave both countries.
Effective March 31 the company transferred its live games business in Russia and Belarus to local management of Lesta Studio that is no longer affiliated with Wargaming. The company will not profit from this process either today or going forward. Much to the contrary we expect to suffer substantial losses as a direct result of this decision.
We will be completing the operational transition with all due speed while remaining in full compliance with all laws and ensuring the ongoing safety and support of our employees. During the transition period the live products will remain available in Russia and Belarus and will be operated by the new owner.
Wargaming has also started the process of closing its studio in Minsk, Belarus.
We will be providing as much severance and support as possible to our employees affected by the change.
Despite the magnitude of this decision, we as a company are confident in the future of our business and are committed to delivering quality games to our players.
