HARVESTELLA, A BRAND NEW LIFE SIMULATION RPG COMING NOVEMBER 4, 2022 TO NINTENDO SWITCH AND PC

LONDON (June 28, 2022) – SQUARE ENIX® today announced a brand-new life simulation RPG, HARVESTELLA™, which is coming to Nintendo Switchand STEAM® on November 4, 2022, featuring concept art by Isamu Kamikokuryo (FINAL FANTASY® XII) and music by Go Shiina (Tales series). In HARVESTELLA, players will experience a beautiful world that changes with the flow of the seasons and enjoy a variety of gameplay including tending to crops, befriending townspeople and adventuring into challenging dungeons.

HARVESTELLA is set in a vibrant and colourful world where four giant crystals called “Seaslight” create a stable change between the four seasons. The adventure begins as abnormalities in the Seaslight begin to appear, creating the “Quietus,” a season of death that takes place between the naturally occurring four seasons. During the Quietus the crops wither and people cannot venture outside, and troublingly, these seasons are mysteriously growing longer with each year.

In this life simulation RPG, players will grow and tend to crops, use ingredients to cook and craft items, and venture into the overworld, which vibrantly changes based on the season, to visit different towns, interact with townsfolk, go fishing and more. Players can select from various Jobs, such as Fighter, Shadow Walker, and Mage, and venture into dungeons with their party to discover the origins of the world as well as the truth behind the calamity along the way.

Aurora Punks Signs Indie Publishing Collaboration Deal With Curve Games

Side-Scrolling Brawler Chenso Club and Cute Party Game Block‘Em! Bring Zany Indie Action

Stockholm, Sweden June 28th – Aurora Punks today announced they have entered into a publishing collaboration with Curve Games for two titles in the Aurora Punks portfolio  – Block’Em! and Chenso Club.

Aurora Punks is an indie game developer collective residing in Sweden, home to various developers and game creatives from all over the world under one umbrella. The two studios in question are Cat Shawl Games (developers of Block’Em!) and Pixadome (developers of Chenso Club)

Casus Ludi’s First Title is an Emotional Co-op Adventure Game and a Piece of Art.

Fantasy Town Invites Mobile Players to Rule Their Own Kingdom on July 18!

Inadvertently become the Lord of Arsendal in this unique mobile farming sim!

Hamburg, June 28, 2022 – gamigo is announcing its new mobile farming simulation game – Fantasy Town – will launch on iOS and Android on July 18, 2022.

Fantasy Town stars players as the reluctant Lord of Arsendal who are trying their best to get away from being the town’s leader. Players are pulled into a wide variety of tasks that help the town flourish including tending crops, building new structures, making citizens happy, and many more. All the while learning more about Arsendal’s history, including its previous Lord – your father.

In addition to its farming game mechanics, Fantasy Town also features a mixture of RPG, adventure, and exploration. Future Lords can expect to fight troublesome Trolls, level up their townsfolk to be more effective warriors or crafters, expand their town boundaries, explore new and exciting dungeons in search of rare resources, and much more. Special events will also be held regularly in-game that rewards players after taking part in several minigames, including puzzles and runners.

Players can also work together by adding friends and/or creating guilds to help each other take care of their towns while they are away. Put out fires, rescue plants from storm clouds, and defend their towns from a myriad of monsters, including krakens. Teamwork makes the dreamwork, and in Fantasy Town, everyone can get by with a little help from their friends.

Android users can continue pre-registering on the Google Play Store while iOS users are encouraged to sign up for Fantasy Town’s newsletter to keep track of its release and to receive a reward once the game launches on July 18, 2022.

In a video available exclusively on IGN and Atari’s official website, CEO Wade Rosen and founder Nolan Bushnell sit down to discuss Atari’s legacy of creativity and innovation, its formative role in the development of the modern video game industry, the Atari brand’s sustained role in popular culture, and what will define the company as it pushes forward for the next 50 years.

“The story of the early days of Atari is, in many ways, the history of the birth of video games,” said Wade Rosen, Atari CEO. “I’m excited to share this very special conversation with founder Nolan Bushnell as we celebrate the tremendous impact of Atari on popular culture and the video game industry over the past fifty years.”

Since Rosen took the role of CEO, Atari has returned to its roots in premium game development and publishing, releasing new titles and bringing more content to PC, console, and streaming platforms. As part of this return, the company today announced that five of these new games are coming to Stadia, Google’s gaming platform.

The first four games in the Atari Recharged series – Centipede, Black Widow, Asteroids, and Breakout – are coming to Stadia this year. Centipede: Recharged launches July 1, 2022, for purchase on the Stadia store and to claim for free with Stadia Pro. The Recharged series updates classic Atari games for current-generation gaming hardware and adds gameplay features that appeal to modern players, including particle effects, power-ups, co-op play, and original soundtracks by award-winning composer Megan McDuffee. In addition to the Recharged games, the critically acclaimed puzzle game Kombinera will be added to Stadia in September 2022.
