CHRIS FORSBERG JOINS THE CREW 2 IN SEASON 6 EPISODE 1: DOMINION FORSBERG, AVAILABLE TOMORROW VIA FREE UPDATE

Try the game for free from July 7th to July 13th

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – JULY 6th, 2022 – Today, Ubisoft announced that The Crew® 2 Season 6 Episode 1: Dominion Forsberg will be available tomorrow on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, as well as Windows PC through the Ubisoft Store, the Epic Games Store, and Steam. Players can also subscribe to Ubisoft+ on PC. To celebrate this first season of Year 5, The Crew 2 brings one of its most ambitious updates since release. Players will be able to try the full game for free, from July 7th to July 13th.

Designed in collaboration with 3-times Drift World Champion Chris Forsberg and his Forsberg Racing team, Season 6 Episode 1: Dominion Forsberg adds 6 new playgrounds in the world of The Crew 2. Under Chris Forsberg’s guidance and during 9 brand-new thematized events, players will have to push their precision driving skills to the limit and compete to beat his records and become a true precision driver. This new episode also comes with numerous Quality of Life improvements for all players. Highly requested by the community, a new 60 FPS option will now be available on PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X, along with a visual overhaul of color grading and weather on all platforms. Season 6 Episode 1: Dominion Forsberg will be accompanied by a brand-new Motorpass: it will propose 50 tiers of new exclusive rewards, both free and premium, including vehicles such as the Forsberg Racing Gold Leader Z (Street Race), the Forsberg Racing Nissan 370Z East African Safari (Rally Cross), the Forsberg Racing Nissan 350Z Roadster (Drift) as well as vanity items, outfits, currency packs (Crew Credits and Bucks), and more. New vehicles, such as the Nissan 350Z Roadster (Street Race) or the Forsberg racing Nissan 370Z Pro Drift (Drift), will be available in the shop starting from July 6th.

The LIVE Summit experience also continues during this brand-new season, with a new batch of weekly iterations. During LIVE Summits, there is only one objective: getting as high up the leaderboard as possible. Each week, the best players will be rewarded with exclusive items and vehicles based on their ranking.

Monday, July 5, 2022 (Paris, France) – Tactical Adventures’ award-winning, team-based tactical fantasy cRPG, Solasta: Crown of the Magister, is now available on Game Pass for Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One.
 
Following its release on PC and Mac, it’s time now for Xbox gamers to prepare to think in three dimensions in an epic team adventure that stays true to the tabletop experience. The dynamic and mysterious world features elements of verticality, allowing players to use their surroundings as an element of strategy. Solasta: Crown of the Magister has been optimized for the Xbox family of consoles, featuring a redesigned interface, control pad integration and the ability to play in co-op online, allowing cross-play with PC or cross-platform with other Xbox versions.

The Xbox version also makes available the community dungeons created in Solasta’s  Dungeon Maker PC tool and uploaded on Mod.io for console players to download, for free, both in single player and multiplayer.
 
As well as the Solasta: Crown of the Magister base game, all previously released DLCs are also now available on the Xbox Store (additional purchase necessary). The Primal Calling DLC features a new Half-Orc ancestry, two additional Barbarian and Druid classes, and an original two-hour “Wanderer” quest. The Lost Valley DLC campaign delivers an entirely new 20-hour+ story arc that runs parallel with the original Crown of the Magister campaign that players can jump right into at level 1.

In the beginning, players are sought after and informed of troublesome developments in the Celestial Gardens. The ogre Kalzar has disappeared and for some time now, Kathleen wanted to learn about his whereabouts. She asks the players to support her in her search and to embark on a journey to find him. The trail leads them to the Celestial Mine where the Night Stalkers reside. Their leaders — the twins Elder and Emmit — devised a plan to gain more power and to pillage the resources of the mine to obtain riches. They had infected Kalzar with Corruption in order to make him the protector of their treasures. It will be the players’ task to clear the dungeon and free him.

If players are successful in their quest, precious accessories that hold mysterious powers wait for them. And if players are more into outer appearances, they can get a new outfit, three new pets and can select between different weapon and shield skins.

Lollipop Chainsaw Remake Announced for 2023

Dragami Games, the successor to Kadokawa Games, has announced that they are working on a remake of Lollipop Chainsaw and are expecting to release the action game sometime in 2023. No platforms were revealed at the time of announcement but the announcement did feature a statement from the company’s president and game’s producer Yoshimi Yasuda.

This includes the fact that while the original game featured fifteen original songs, that it will likely be “unfortunately difficult for us to implement all of them this time. As a result, aside from a few licensed tracks, the soundtrack will consist of new music.” The company also stated that they will be taking a “more realistic approach to the graphics this time.”

It has already been stated by James Gunn that neither he nor Suda51 are currently involved in the remake in any way though it is worth noting that Yasuda has already slightly addressed this by saying that with the original game “as Suda-san was very busy handling development on other projects at the time, Yasuda served as director and producer, creating a joint development team consisting of staff from Grasshopper Manufacture and Kadokawa Games, overseeing development directly. Suda-san looked over the game design and supervised the project as an executive producer.”

Witch on the Holy Night English Trailer Reveals December 8 Western Release

In news that may be shocking to many considering the developer and its lack of Western console releases, it has been announced that Aniplex and Type-Moon will be releasing their visual novel Witch on the Holy Night in the West on December 8th for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. This is the same day that the game will be released in Japan and at release it will cost $39.99 though it is currently unknown whether the game will be given a physical release or only offered digitally at the time.

Witch on the Holy Night is set in 1980s Japan and tells the story of Aoko Aozaki as she attempts to navigate the complex world of magecraft while also dealing with the everyday struggles of life as a high school student! Players will experience the thrilling origin story of this much-beloved character. This console release will see a visual update and will also offer new, fully voiced dialogue in Japanese.

Chaos;Head Noah also Arriving on PC October 7th

Spike Chunsoft has revealed that they will be releasing Chaos;Head Noah on PC worldwide alongside the previously announced Chaos;Head Noah / Chaos;Child Double Pack that is set to be released on the same day on October 7th. This will mark the first time that Chaos;Head Noah has ever been officially released in English on any platform.

In Chaos;Head Noah Takumi Nishijo is a second-year high school student on the verge of becoming a shut-in. “I have no interest in 3D.” He lives surrounded by his beautiful girl figures in his room. He lives in Shibuya, where there has been a series of bizarre serial murders known as “New Generation Madness” (aka NewGen).

The culprit has yet to be caught and has been causing unrest on the internet and television. One day, a gruesome image that seemed to predict the next NewGen killing was sent by a mysterious figure called “Shogun.” The next day, on his way home from school, Takumi encounters a horrific crime scene, exactly as predicted. Before the corpse is a blood-soaked girl—Rimi Sakihata.
