Developer Torn Banner Studios and publisher Tripwire Presents announced today that Chivalry 2 has sold over 2 million copies worldwide across all platforms. The award-winning medieval multiplayer hit is available now on PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), the PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5 computer entertainment systems, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. To celebrate this exciting milestone, Torn Banner Studios has unveiled a brand-new developer diary with a behind-the-scenes look at the Tenosian Invasion update, which added mounted horse combat, a new faction, and more. In addition, the developers look ahead and share the first details of what’s coming next for the ultimate medieval battlefield.

As discussed in the new developer diary, Torn Banner Studios set out on a mission to double the content scope of Chivalry 2 in a single year, and has officially achieved that goal. Since launch, the team has released numerous, free content updates, adding the new weapons-free Brawl Mode, new Team Objective and Deathmatch maps, and many new weapons, just to name a few. Most recently, they launched their biggest update yet – Tenosian Invasion – alongside the game’s release on Steam, bringing mounted combat, cavalry charges, a brand-new faction, and more to Chivalry 2.

Looking ahead, the developer diary outlines some of the exciting upcoming additions coming to Chivalry 2. These include the Hippodrome, a new tournament-styled map set in the Tenosian faction setting and designed with mounted horse combat in mind, a new Tenosian-inspired weapon called the Katar, a new winter-themed biome featuring snow and ice, and the long-awaited cross-play party social support, which has been highly requested from the community. World of Warships: Legends’ July update introduces Tier VIII, bringing 14 of these new ships to the game as an entirely new addition to the Legends ecosystem

15^th July – World of Warships is making waves with a significant change coming to World of Warships: Legends. Powerful Tier VIII ships make their way into Legends on July 25, bringing with it a wave of 14 new ships available in the tech tree and Premium ship availability.

Tier VIII comes into shore

Tier VIII joins World of Warships: Legends as the new highest tier of ships before Legendary ships. With this new tier come 14 ships, 12 of which are available in the tech tree. Representing four different nations, the USA, Japan, Germany, USSR, these 12 ships will cover every variety but carriers – highlights include American battleship Maine, German cruiser Roon, and Japanese destroyer Yugumo.

Players will also have the chance to acquire the first-Tier VIII ship available as a campaign reward, with impressive French battleship Republique available at the end of the five-week L’Ambassadeur campaign. To round off these new additions to the game, the economy sees a reduced cost for battle entry for higher tier ships, and an increased credit bonuses awarded for Tier VII premiums.

With all that these new ships have to offer, Tier VII brings along with it an improvement to matchmaking during this update, as a +/- 1 Tier rule comes into place, giving ships of this new tier the opportunity to battle for naval dominance against certain Tier VII and Legendary ships.

Tier VIII will continue to make a splash, with more ships entering Legends’ waters as the year progresses. These ships will also become available through wider channels of distribution, available through the tech tree, as a reward for campaigns, in auctions as well as eventually arriving in the Bureau and Store.

Through a confluence of misfortune, young couple Lee and Victoria, local gas station owner Holt, and paranormal investigator Lou encounter mysteries shattering their perception of reality. The annual Leonid Meteor Shower draws spectators far and wide, but in 1966, something’s not quite right. Men in black arrive in town demanding answers to impossible questions.

Threatening red eyes peer through the dark woods. Survive eleven chapters of accessible ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’-inspired gameplay that place narrative above all. Solve tricky puzzles to progress through a night of terrors. Having trouble with a particularly tough riddle? Accept the help of the other characters to maintain Mothmen 1966’s pacing instead of getting stuck.

Explore a branching narrative driven by player agency. Uncover hidden cryptids with binoculars, play a game of Impossible Solitaire, fend off a hungry pack of attacking coyotes, and navigate other mini-games providing a sense of urgency. Mothmen 1966 will be followed by the Stephen King-inspired Varney Lake and the hard-boiled Bahnsen Knights later this year. Smash capsules to find the target item, shwoop it up before the opponent can, and secure it into the goal to win the round. Clash online in cross-platform multiplayer between PC and Switch or face off friends in local multiplayer.
