THE CREW 2 INTRODUCES NEW ICE TRACKS WITH SEASON 6 EPISODE 2: DOMINION FROZEN, STARTING SEPTEMBER 14th

0

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – SEPTEMBER 12th, 2022 – Yesterday at Ubisoft Forward, Ubisoft announced that The Crew® 2 Season 6 Episode 2: Dominion Frozen will be available on September 14th on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, as well as Windows PC through the Ubisoft Store, the Epic Games Store, and Steam. Players can also subscribe to Ubisoft+ on PC.

After the collaboration with Drift World Champion Chris Forsberg in the previous episode, Dominion Frozen will keep challenging The Crew 2 drivers by adding a whole new type of tracks never seen before in the series: ice races. The 5 playgrounds introduced in the open world with Season 6 will be covered with ice during 9 specific brand-new events available over the course of the Episode, so players need to be ready to forget all that they have learned when jumping into Episode 2. Between ice spikes and snow cannons, it will be trickier than ever for players to control their trajectory on this new type of track.

Season 6 Episode 2: Dominion Frozen will be accompanied by a brand-new Motorpass, offering 50 tiers of new exclusive rewards, both free and premium, including vehicles such as the Saleen S7 Twin-Turbo Glacier Edition (Hypercar), the Mazda RX-3 Supercharged Edition (Street race), the Dodge SRT Viper GTS Lightning Edition (Street race) or vanity items, outfits, currency packs (Crew Credits and Bucks), and more. In total, 19 tiers are offering free rewards, and for Episode 2 this includes the Creators DeLorean DMC-12 Outadrift (Drift). This heavily modified DeLorean exists in real life: designed and built by Alexandre Claudin, a drifting pilot from Lyon, it has been faithfully reproduced in The Crew 2.

Dominion Frozen will also offer new customization possibilities to our players with 48 new vanity items, including animated Rooftops, as well as avatar outfits, smokes, tires, underglows, window tints, and more. Players can of course expect more vehicle additions over the course of the Episode such as the Lamborghini Reventón (Hypercar) on October 19th.

The LIVE Summit experience also continues during this brand-new season, with a new batch of weekly iterations. During LIVE Summits, there is only one objective: getting as high up the leaderboard as possible. Each week, the best players will be rewarded with exclusive items and vehicles based on their ranking.

Skull and Bones is launching on November 8, 2022, on Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation®5, Stadia, Amazon Luna, and Windows PC through the Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store. Players can also subscribe to Ubisoft+ on PC to access the game on day one.

  • In its World Context trailer, Skull and Bones revealed the truth behind the second Golden Age of Piracy: The Indian Ocean torn between power, riches, and blood, at the mercy of powerful corporations. These fierce fleets traded and exported valuable exotic goods to the West, and in the violent race to control rare resources, pirates showed no mercy. The world of Skull and Bones gives players the opportunity to become one of these legendary Kingpins by sailing dangerous waters, creating secret deals, and building a pirate empire.
  • Ubisoft Forward Gameplay Trailer unveiled ship personalization as a key to outsmarting rivals. A great pirate should look the part to be feared, but also tactically weaponize their ship to sink enemies. Players must master their ship to prevail in dangerous storms and survive. In the seas of Skull and Bones, one is always on the edge of losing it all.
