PLAYSTATION AUSTRALIA PARTNERS WITH MJOLNER TO OFFER AUSSIES A TASTE OF THE YEAR’S MOST ANTICIPATED GAME – ‘GOD OF WAR RAGNAROK’

Discover the Realms with an exclusive menu available for guests in Sydney and Melbourne. Starting in the freezing cold land of Niflheim, travelling through all nine realms, to finish in the mysterious Svartalfheim. Get ready for Ragnarök.

Sydney, 9 November 2022 – In collaboration with iconic Norse-inspired restaurant Mjølner, PlayStation Australia is celebrating the launch of one of the year’s most anticipated games, God of War Ragnarök, by bringing the nine realms of Norse mythology to life. The “Discover The Realms” experience will be a unique nine course menu, available in both Melbourne and Sydney restaurants. On offer are exclusive dishes and cocktails representing each of the nine realms you can explore in God of War Ragnarök. 

Each of the limited edition creations have been imagined to embody the essence of each realm and give customers an idea of what they will face as they approach Ragnarök. 

Through Discover The Realms, visitors to Mjølner will be able to sample a selection of nine dishes and drinks, including the ‘Light of Alfheim’, a palate-cleansing mocktail that will immerse guests’ senses in one of the most beautiful realms imaginable. From the highest peak in Jotunheim, the land of the giants, comes the main course, Secrets Of The Father, a mouthwatering Dry Aged Scotch Fillet with Bottarga sauce.

Follow the Straw Hat Crew on their journey in this new trailer

In ONE PIECE ODYSSEY players will embark on an adventure with Luffy and the Straw Hat Crew as they are trying to regain their lost powers. To do so they will visit “Memoria”, a world built from the memories of their previous encounters, leading them to go back to important locations in their history such as Alabasta, and Water Seven.

In this adventure, you will experience a new story of the Straw Hats, with a focus on Usopp and Robin. This quest will lead them to see familiar places like the Gallery-La Company or faces like Franky’s gang, Iceburg, Aokiji some of the CP9 members like Lucci and Kaku. But while places and situations can look and feel familiar, nothing is as it exactly was in these memories and players will see some differences with the story some of them know and love.

Produced by Toei Animation and based on the top-selling manga title of all time by creator Eiichiro Oda, the One Piece series first premiered on Japanese TV in October 1999 and follows Luffy and his Straw Hat Crew on their epic quest to find “One Piece,” the legendary treasure of the former King of the Pirates, Gol D. SWORD ART ONLINE LAST RECOLLECTION: THE FAMOUS GAME SERIES WILL BE BACK IN 2023

Bandai Namco Europe announces today a new game in the Sword Art Online universe: SWORD ART ONLINE Last Recollection. This JRPG, bringing a new take on the original story by Reki Kawahara, will release in 2023 for PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and STEAM®.

Taking a different path than the original Sword Art Online anime, SWORD ART ONLINE Last Recollection will follow Kirito as he prepares to face a challenge like no other: the Underworld War. The gate to the Dark Territory cracks open, ready to unleash its terror upon the Human Realm, when a mysterious Dark Knight named Dorothy flies in with a mission for Kirito and his friends. They will once again have to fight to protect this world.

Player’s favourite characters from the series are back in the culmination of the Sword Art Online game series, taking an unpredictable turn from the Underworld War arc told in the anime and novel. Keeping its acclaimed JRPG style and increasing the action speed, SWORD ART ONLINE Last Recollection will ensure a smooth coordination while playing with friends.

World of Warships on PC sees playable submarines landing in the tech tree, as well as an impressive selection of Japanese light cruisers entering Early Access. Console players are also treated to new ships and content in World of Warships: Legends with a five-week, 100-milestone campaign where Japanese Premium Tier VIII  destroyer Hayate awaits, and a Treasure Chest of pirate content including two new Captains and crates with various plunder inside, including a fistful of guaranteed doubloons.

Japanese light cruisers and submarines set to sea

Kicking off World of Warships November content drop is the introduction of six new Japanese light cruisers to Early Access. These ships are armed with high-damage and high-range torpedoes to strike significant damage on enemies from far away. Further enabling sneak attacks, these cruisers can take advantage of the element of surprise using their good camouflaging. From Tier VII upwards ships in this range sport torpedo tubes equipped with a revolving mechanic, and Tier VIII upwards also see the addition of a large number of main battery guns.

These ships are available to players through a wide range of means, with some ships available through consecutive sets like the Agano, Gokase and Shimanto, and others available through combat missions and in random packs.

As these ships enter Early Access, submarines have departed and made their way to the tech tree, with German and American submarines researchable to all players. These covert vessels span Tier VI-X, and can strike lethal damage with their powerful torpedoes. The two nations offer different opportunities for gameplay, as German ships sport long-range acoustically guided torpedoes and a wide margin of autonomy, while the American submarines are equipped with short-range acoustic torpedoes and boast quicker recovery.

Premium Japanese destroyer and Pirate antics

World of Warships: Legends also offers Japanese watercraft to its players, with Japanese Tier VIII Premium destroyer Hayate waiting at the end of a classic Warships-style Brewing Storm campaign, taking place across five weeks with 100 milestones to achieve. Hayate is powerful, with a sturdy HP pool, as well as impressive torpedoes and excellent fire-starting capabilities. To secure this beauty, players must complete Brewing Storm with Admiralty Backing active; however a catch-up mechanic is in place alongside Heroic Effort missions to help carry stragglers to victory.

Pirates also come on board in this update, with plenty of treasure for players to unearth, including two new Captains, each with their own unique voiceover, two new ships Caprice and La Foudre, and themed Treasure Chest Crates packed full of doubloons and plenty of other treats.
